These guys are great. Over the summer I rented a Jet Ski and a boat from them. Like an idiot I pulled the jet ski too close to the shore and sucked in some rocks. They came and picked it up and only charged me a bit of labor to pull the rocks out and were pretty cool about it. When we rented the boat a huge monsoon type storm came overhead and it was their timely phone call to tell us to pull into a cove that really kept us safe during a pretty gnarly lightning storm. I appreciated that they were looking out for us and called more then once to make sure we stayed safe.

This review is for the pontoon boat rentals.
I have rented from this company for three years now and this will probably be the last time I will rent from them.
Every singe time I have rented their boats there was ALWAYS an issue with the boat. First year was the stereo wouldn’t work and the boat was giving us trouble. We got through it.
Second year our boat kept shutting down and we had to call the company multiple times.
This year we rented two pontoons and BOTH the stereos didnt work, and one of the boat’s gear kept sticking when going from forward to reverse and vice versa. We must have used up a good hour and a half for just trying to solve these issues.
Having said that, the only reason why I kept giving this company the benefit of the doubt and three stars is because the staff is very friendly and they were always willing to find a solution.
When our stereo wasn’t working they met up with us and gave us a speaker to use, but then the speaker wasn’t working! I didnt even bother to call them back by that time as we kept wasting our valuable swimming time. They were very understanding whenever there was a problem. Probably because they know their boats need some fixing.
So three stars for very friendly staff and easy going people. No complains about the customer service.
As much as I would like to rent from them again, I realized the good customer service is not worth it if these pontoons are constantly having issues and our vacation is constantly being interrupted by a boat problem.
Hope these boats get fixed, then I would go back to you guys! Until then, I’m going with someone else.

Rented a boat from Matt today at Havasu Adventure Company. They were professional and friendly during the end to end rental process. They drove us to the area to put the boat into the lake and supplied a cooler of water and soft drinks for the day. We were not comfortable with driving the boat on the lake and referred us to Brian as our designated captain for the day. Brian drove us to a more secluded area of the lake for water skiing and tubing. Great day was had by all. Would definitely return to this company and utilize Brian again as well next time we are in Havasu.

The group of us was looking to rent a pontoon. After shopping around for pricing we found this place to have the best. The staff was very helpful and took the time to explain the rules for boating as well as the use of the boat. I would definitely give them a look if you’re looking to make a rental.

This last weekend was my bachelor party out at lake Havasu and Havasu Adventure Company took great care of us! Pricing was competitive with the other companies in the area. The rental process went quickly and we were in the water within 30 minutes. The pontoon boat was clean and seemed pretty new. Matt was great to deal with through the whole rental process and was quick to answer any questions. I’ll rent here for sure when I’m back in Havasu, check em out!

From the first phone call inquiring about boat rental and price to the moment we returned the pontoon we rented… excellent customer service! I was just me, husband and our 2 year old and we had the best time! The guys were very helpful and accommodating. Can’t wait to go back again! It’s a no brainer… we will definitely use HAC again and will recommend them to family and friends!

Not an outstanding experience with these guys. The jeep we reserved had not been cleaned when we picked it up and it only had ¼ tank of gas in it. They didn’t do anything to get the vehicle ready for us; they appeared to be disorganized. We got instructions how to take the top down when we picked it up. We found out it was broken when we took it down; the engine light stayed on during the time we had it.
Won’t rent from them again.

Matt, Max and the rest of the staff are so nice and so very professional. My husband and I brought our 3 grandkids for their first boating experience. We were treated like royalty when we arrived and the entire day couldn’t have been more perfect.
Upon arrival Matt was very thorough with the instructions and safety procedures prior to us boarding. We were given our choice of life jackets (which was included with the rental) and conveniently we were able to load the boat from our truck to the boat right from their holding yard. Max was our escort and loaded all our supplies, cooler, etc. We were given a couple of bags of free ice and free sodas were available too.
We rented a perfect size (and in great condition), deck boat. We jumped in the jeep with Max took us to the lake where he launched the boat, brought it around to the dock and escorted us all on.
Earlier in the day we had some kind of alarm going off on the boat. We called Matt and he told us we likely had taken on some seaweed in the intake. He was right and it cleared on its own. We didn’t skip a beat. He still sent someone out on a jet ski to make sure we were okay.
We spent the day on the boat and traveled up and down the river and around the lake. We made it through the canal and under the London Bridge which was beautiful.
When we came back for the day I made a call for a pick-​up and the gentleman was there in minutes (I forgot his name). He was just as nice as Max from earlier in the day. He took the boat around and put it on the trailer and drove us back to the holding yard where he unloaded us and got us on our way.
Great staff, great company and I think Jerry in this review section obviously has a chip on his shoulder and should be ignored. His only Unilocal review is this one and he has no friends. After reading it I feel compelled to say, trust me you will be happy you chose Havasu Adventure Company!
We are already planning a trip back next year with more family in tow.

First off I would like to tell you to ensure that you read the reviews that are not yet recommended by Unilocal.These are the most accurate reviews I found after my initial concern about renting from Havasu Adventure Company.
On to the actual review:
I called and spoke with Matt several weeks before the family vacation. While on the phone I asked about the Military Discount advertised and was told that it would be honored. This was done even on a busy summer weekend even though their website states mon-​thurs. My initial thought was 2 Jetskis a pontoon and a jeep over 2 days for the advertised price was too good to be true.
Upon arrival my thoughts were that the equipment had to be old and worn out, however I was greatly surprised when that wasn’t the case. The equipment was above average rental equipment that was fully functional and well maintained.
Day one consisted of the jeep rental, with provided maps based on differing ability levels and talk throughs by Matt. Great day and amazing views along the trails.
Day two involved a pontoon and 2 Jetskis which were in great running condition. All of the best spots were mapped out and again I received a tutorial from the staff on operation of all equipment. A cooler stocked with water, soda, and ice was provided and even more ice stocked in my cooler by the staff. All leading to a great day on the water.
Due to certain conditions there was some damage done to one of the skis at the dock. This was handled fairly and honestly by Matt.
I can’t wait to return to Lake Havasu and will definitely be doing business with Matt and Max again!

This is our 2^nd year renting from Havasu Adventure Company and we have decided to just drag our own boat down from the bay area next year rather than deal with all the problems.
The constant interruption of our vacation to deal with the issues with the equipment really took away from the relaxation we had hoped to have on this trip.
We had a group of 11 people with us and we rented the boat and 2 jet ski’s for 3 days.
One of the jet ski’s was a dream, we had no problems with it at all.
The other Jet Ski was awful, it kept dying and had to be restarted, it wouldn’t idle so we had to always be on the gas which was a real pain in the 5 mile per hour zone. Plus it went through more than twice as much gas as the working jet ski. On the 2^nd day a guy came out and looked at it for us and adjusted the idle, after that it really sounded like it was dying, we were worried the motor was going to blow but they said to just keep riding it until it does. The extra gas in this Jet ski probably cost us at least $ 150 more than the working jet ski.
The boat had several issues. If you put anything in the compartments of the boat it would slide down the side of the boat because someone had removed the back pieces that would have stopped this. In general the boat rode very rough. The steering was so bad that only my husband could drive. I think we realized later that it was leaking power steering fluid into the motor compartment and we were worried the bilge pump would pump it into the lake. On the 2^nd day the steering cable went loose.
Someone came out to look at the boat. He was rude at first. He said he didn’t have tools to fix anything, he acted like we were complaining about nothing. Finally my husband and him fixed the loose cable.
On the 3^rd day they swapped the boat out for a pontoon boat, they said that was all they had. I hated the pontoon boat. The kids tried to tube behind it and it was awful. No hope of any wakeboarding. We went to the beach and just hung out for the day.
The final kicker was the gas. In the deck boat we went through 22 gallons of gas in 2 days and we drove that boat like crazy. In the pontoon they said we went through 16 gallons in a half day and we barely drove that boat at all. Plus their gas is more expensive than we could buy it for on the water. Had I realized we would have just filled up before returning but with all the other time wasted in repairs we hadn’t wanted to spend extra time at the gas station.
In the end I gave a 3 star review instead of a 1 star because of how awesome Max is. He was really understanding about the problems and always tried to make sure we were being taken care of. He did knock a small amount off the payment for the trouble, and he worked late so we could get a couple of extra hours on the boat the last night.

We picked Havasu Adventure Company at the recommendation of the hotel we were staying at and I am so glad we did! Matt and Max were so helpful and friendly. Max explained all of the features of the boat as well as places we should see while we are out on the Lake. They stocked the boat with water and soda for us which was very nice. We will definitely use them next time we are in Havasu!

Called Matt to make a reservation about two weeks prior to our vacation. He was very helpful and set us up to rent a pontoon boat for 4 days. He knocked $ 100 per day off of the price for a muti-​day rental.
We ended up renting a different boat because apparently the boat we were supposed to rent was involved in an accident the day before. We made it work, and it was fine, though we wish it had a full shade like the one we were supposed to rent did.
Maxx delivered the boat via trailer to Havasu Springs where we were staying. This is where they picked it up from too. That was very convenient, because we didn’t have to worry about trailering, or wasting a bunch of fuel driving the boat down the lake.
The Tri-​toon was in good condition and had a V6 in it. It worked well for us and went along at 20 or 25 I would guess. No mechanical issues. Good trip, and will likely be calling them again next year.

These guys are awesome! My family went to Lake Havasu for a little vacation and a friend gave us Havasu Adventure Company’s phone # because they had boats for rent alot cheaper than anywhere else. We didn’t really know what to expect for the quality of boat but we were pleasantly surprised! For the money the boat was great and we had so much fun that we
rented it an extra day! Matt was very professional and very accommodating. They even filled a cooler with ice, soda, and water every day we had the boat! If you are looking for a great time on the lake for a great price these are the guys you want to see! Thanks Matt and we will see you in September!
