Windsor Inn Motel

Rooms smells nasty. Correction, it is nasty: allergy prone/​asthma prone beware.
The parking lot SUCKS, our boat is 19ft long — it barely fit in a spot.
There were 3 disturbing girls (about 20 – 25) hanging around in the Parking lot, and an older man who needed their ID’s in order for management to let them in the room???
We had to call discover and dispute the charges because there was no way we were staying here. The photos are perfectly cropped to hide all of the nasty-​ness that lurks in this hotel.
The manager said he couldn’t reverse the charges because we booked through Expedia (when we didn’t) and gave us the hardest time about leaving but fortunately that’s what Customer service from Discover is for.
Even if I was desperate I wouldn’t stay here.

I was really concerned after the other reviews I’d read, but I’m very pleased with how nice the windsor Inn is. Nicely decorated and very clean. Bed is comfy too. No regrets making our reservation with this hotel, would definitely stay here again.

If you just need a clean, cheap room, this place is fine. Pets are allowed, but they do charge a fee (we didn’t know until check-​in. I prefer to have it disclosed). There is nowhere to take your dogs to potty– not even a gravel spot. But all-​in-​all, it’s what you expect in the price range.

This score is actually a 3−½. Sure the Windsor isn’t plush, definitely has thin, slightly ragged towels, but for the price we paid in December ($ 50 for a king) I thought the room was just fine. We arrived late and left early to catch sunrise and hit the road home early, so didn’t get to try the breakfast or use the pool or spa. If those were all decent (you’ll have to check other reviews) that’s a pretty amazing price given how expensive motels are these days, though winter appears to be the off season (it was c-​c-​cold!) Bathroom was clean. Didn’t have a flatscreen TV, but who cares — we didn’t come for the TV. It’s close to the lake but only the «suite» on the end appeared to have a direct lake view. Made reservations over the phone easily and the desk service was pleasant.
As to the city itself: We stopped here as a lark on the way home from a road trip having never been to Lake Havasu, and while it was interesting to see a lake (from damming of course) in the middle of the desert (not as amazing as Page, AZ however), and the London Bridge, I don’t think we’ll be back to this grotesquely chain-​store-​choked city. Our favorite part was seeing mountain views and rock formations early in the morning from the beach on the island — but we’d rather be away from cities for enjoying nature. Apparently it’s a popular retirement destination. If you need tons of chain stores and don’t want to drive far — perhaps not a bad choice for that.

I have been traveling around the state of Arizona since July and have been choosing 0,1 and sometimes 2 star hotels and motels. I was pleasantly surprised at this Motel in Lake Havasu. It was cleaner than I expected and more importantly no odors. The price was perfect

Booked room upon arrival. Innkeeper was nice, accommodating. Room was clean (yay!) and comfortable. Though I was happy to have brought my own sheets and towel. Very easy to get to, quiet and off the road. Kind of a nice view of the lake.

Stayed here one Saturday night for about $ 86.00. Our room was a non smoking, 2 queen beds. The beds were clean and comfy, the tv had a lot of good channels, the internet was pretty fast and easy to connect to, and overall the whole room was spotless. I did not have a chance to go to the pool or jacuzzi, but it stayed open until 11 pm, which was cool. They had breakfast in the morning which consisted of: waffles, toast, blueberry and banana nut muffins, 3 cereals, coffee, milk, OJ, cranberry juice. It was pretty good and I appreciated the fact that the front desk person kept an eye out for things running low and filled it right away. The workers were very friendly, I would definitely come back to this place next time we’re there!

Booked the room online. King bed, non smoker, mini fridge, microwave, tv with like 50 channels and free wifi.
We set the AC to 65 and it kept the room pretty cool. The fridge worked perfectly! Froze a few water bottles for us :) didn’t end up using the pool or continental breakfast. Shower was good sized, hell, the room was good sized. The soap they give sucks, dries your hands right out.
The manager than checked us in was super nice. Gave us a newspaper, map and other brochures, we didn’t even ask for them! The lady that checked us out was really nice too.
The street it’s on has no street lights so I was scared at first but apparently Havasu doesn’t believe in street lights? Other then the highway and lake Havasu dr, no other streets or neighborhoods have street lights, very odd.
For the price and convenience, this pale was really good. Would stay there again.

Location: Walk to beach, but few other local amenities.
Service: Very pleasant!
Price: Excellent! They matched an Internet rate, so two queen beds was $ 49/​night.
Room amenities: microwave, fridge, AC, hair dryer. Sink separated from tub/​toilet by door (handy when traveling with others).
Hotel amenities: Outdoor pool and hot tub, continental breakfast (juice, coffee, muffins, cereal)
Water pressure: TERRIBLE
Towels: TERRIBLE (tiny and thin as tissue)
Cleanliness: Adequate. Certainly not as bad as other reviews are suggesting.
Overall, if you bring your own towels, this is a nice place to stay.

Stayed this past week and was extremely satisfied. We stayed here since it was cheap and it worked out perfectly for us and both the front desk and the room service maid were very friendly. Loved that we had a mini fridge and microwave. It’s a close drive to London Bridge and is in the prime location to go out to local bars or even catch the ferry to the casino. I will be staying here again and have recommended it to a few friends already. Don’t expect fancy, it provides what is needed and does the job.

Well, my review doesn’t contain any contrived jokes or memes like that really un-​funny one below mine. It’s also opposite in opinion, as I was fine with this place.
My wife and I were randomly in this strange town, home of the actual London Bridge (moved from London to here for $ 20 million? Who knows why?) and «Times Square,» and we just needed a place to sleep. The street this place was on has a number of motels, and this was the cheapest we could find for a single night ($ 40).
Initially, we were spooked because the room we were assigned had someone else in it; but that was quickly remedied, our room changed, and nobody was hurt I suppose. I was surprised this place had Wi-​Fi, breakfast (though it mostly consisted of junk like Little Debbies and cereal), an in-​room stove, refrigerator, and a microwave for the price. I’ve paid a higher base rate at Motel 6s that didn’t have any of that stuff without an extra charge Wasn’t looking for a home away from home to cook casseroles or whatever, but it was still nice.
Cleanliness wasn’t an issue, and the sheets, bed, and other furniture were all surprisingly nice; no smoke odor, either.
Stop by if you happen to land in Lake Havasu City, which I think is the reason any and everybody is in that place.

First off, our stay was exactly what we expected. We knew we were not staying at the Ritz or a 5 diamond resort (which we do stay at) We came to Havasu to test a boat and only needed a place to sleep. The customer service at the Windsor was 5 star, better then some of the resorts we have been. The accommodations are dated and the bed has seen better days. MOST important was the room was clean! Over all it was a pleasant stay. Mike is a Champ! We stayed for two nights and would stay again.
As for the negative reviews from Toribio, chicken curry? Really! And DN must stand for Dumb Knucklehead. Be careful, slander and lies in a court of law can get you into a lot of trouble. How do you know what the bottom of a dumpster full of human excrement smells like? I understand you were attempting to be funny and encourage people not to stay at the Windsor Inn. Think about this. If the hotel can prove that your review has cost them business they can sue you for damages. You said some pretty terrible and vile things that YOU would need to prove in court ie. all of your friends getting HIV.

Ever get the the smell of someone using the restroom in a BARBER shop mixing shaving cream with chicken yellow curry??? That’s the gust of fragrance I got once I opened the non-​smoking room. At least with a smoking room you can smoke out the OOO-​WEEE. plus the sheets we had contained holes like they were int he smoking room and was damaged. The whole weekend consisted of the same sheets!!! =^/​
That’s what I get for booking the room in the last week of a busy weekend in a hoppin place. However, I only slept in the room — unpeacefully but i managed to fall asleep.
