Overall I had a great experience with Mohave Pools, the communication and the time line weren’t spot on (hence the 4 star) but quality and price were on the money. As long as you understand that your dealing with one of the biggest pool companies in Mohave county that generally have 10 to 20 pools going on at one time. Some of my question and concerns were delayed in getting answered but it wasn’t anything that needed to be answered promptly anyway. Cory is the job site supervisor and had been managing my questions and has been very helpful throughout the whole process. They have a great start up program and since I’m going to be managing the pool myself I felt more confident in that process. I have been dealing with Roy for the chemical start up process and I feel comfortable maintaining my own chemicals under the instruction that he has given. This company has been getting a bad wrap on this app but you need to remember, this is a company that has been in business in Lake Havasu for as long as I can remember, they have done thousands of pools in town and they are still in business, they have to be doing something right!!! And they def did when they built my pool

Mohave County Pools will be one of the worst mistakes you ever made. After spending over 100k with this company to build our pool we have been going through the motions with the Registrar of Contractors to try and get Bart to fix the problems he assured, promised, gave his word that he would fix. Bart will tell you everything you want to hear then follow through with nothing. Were going on 3 years of headache with this company and don’t see an end in sight. We have a stained quartz pool finish that was supposed to be mini-​pebble, a heater that wasn’t adequate to heat our Jacuzzi, a bad design by separating our Jacuzzi from the rest of the pool, pop up cleaners that they push and don’t work (it’s his cleaning system), underground broken pipes, sinking concrete decking that’s pulling away from the pool, and just a horrible experience with a «registered contractor» that supposedly builds hundreds of pools a year. After calling around for advice and asking around I would contact CDC Pools if I was going to build a pool in Parker or Havasu.

MOHAVE COUNTY POOL IS AWFUL!!!
I wish I didn’t even have to give these guys 1 star but Unilocal makes me.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service and shoddy work. Have reached out numerous times via email and phone with no response. Owner is rude and disrespectful when we finally did track him down. DO NOT do business with this company. You will be left with a pool that is crumbling and they will not repair/​replace it for you. Try to get your long term warranty in writing? Good luck!!! There obviously is a reason they won’t provide it. A true professional will honor their work and materials for years. Not these guys. Once they have the first check, you rarely see them, the job took much MUCH longer than they said it would to complete and clearly, it was not because of meticulous craftsmanship or a keen eye for detail. Late to the job and late for appointments, if they show up at all.
If they do fix our pool, I may change my opinion and my review but not until we are satisfied with their attempts to guarantee their work and get the job done right.
Seriously, what a costly headache it has been working with these guys! Believe me when I say, TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!

Lip Service. My pool was completed in October. And, it is still not approved by the city. I have been to the office, emailed, and phoned to get them to take care of the one remaining minor issue. Each time I am put off by the office staff with the promise of a return call or a visit from the foreman. They should not be able to get their final payment unless and until it passes inspection. I give them 1 star only because you have to rate them. They could use training in customer service.

I have been dealing with Mohave county pools for a week now, I just wanted a estimate to repair a pool, The girl I talked to was rude and very unprofessional, Took almost a week to get the estimate, after they checked the pool. Really would have to go with someone else for a pool since they don’t seem to care about the customer!

Although a complete design was never provided, the pool turned out great.
Pool was completed 2 months late but luckily the owner Bart did not charge extra for the extra time he took.
Communication was poor as I don’t think they use email but every once in a while the owner (Bart) would answer his phone to discuss problems like the cracked concrete in the driveway caused by excavating equipment or accidentally digging up our phone lines.
Aside from the wrong color barstools, we love the pool and can’t wait to use it this summer!

We are very happy with our pool built by Mohave County Pools. It was done in the estimated time we were given. The workers were all very nice and did not bother us during the construction. The only problem we experienced was due to the fact we were living in Cali during the construction and communication was difficult. We also have had post construction issues with code approvals not having to do with the pool itself. Other than that the pool came out great and looks wonderful. Can’t wait until summer 2015 to enjoy it fully as the weather right now is too cool for swimming. We recommend Mohave County Pools for anyone who want a good deal for their money.

We had Mohave County Pools build out pool last year and it was the best experience I have had with a contractor. They were done on time, on budget and everything came out great. The pool service they recommended has also been great.

Stay away from this pool builder at all costs. I spent $ 62,000.00 on a swimming pool and when problems arose they ignored all of our calls. The pool wasn’t built the right size. The in floor cleaning system was installed improperly and does not clean the pool and leaves dead spots. The deck around the pool was not compacted properly and the travertine has began to sink. We’ve made many calls over the last 3 months, all of which have been ignored. They’re bad business people and just plain bad people. Anyone else would be better.
