Walked in and walked right back out. Bad vibe, a fight broke out right outside the front door at 6:30PM.

The pits. The cashier was totally overwhelmed looking for a lost order for an irritated customer in front of us. This created a backed-up line which also made them impose the«we’re busy; are you kidding?! no substitutions» rule(as in can’t remove jalapeños for a kid). They tried to charge us 50+ dollars for a couple orders of nachos and a burrito and 2 half-headed poorly-poured draught beers and when I asked if I could substitute the draught beers for something in a bottle the owner(I’m assuming owner) flipped out and told me «This isn’t Yankee Stadium. We do this all the time. We know what we’re doing. She’s gonna let it settle,» which I guess insinuated that I was a «rough» Manhattan person or something. I have worked in many restaurants so I’m pretty understanding but the girl behind the counter was just awful and it literally wouldn’t have been that busy if she didn’t have to look for the order that she forgot to put in. When we tried to take hot sauce from another table since ours was empty, she reprimanded us and told us that we need to keep the hot sauces together. The food was greasy and they got our order wrong after all the in-depth explaining — we could add TO — just not SUB — and I REALLY tried to be gentle to the cashier/counter help, thinking the guy ahead of me must have been hard on her or something. Basically this place sucks from service to food. Boo. I never leave a review this bad but it is literally this bad.

Not what I expected. Burrito was soggy and sloppy. Chips were drenched in oil. Quesadilla was okay. Not worth the prices. Staff was friendly, therefore the 2 star rating.

Place was open for the Lake George Winter Carnival. I was actually at the indoor mini golf place next door and won a free taco. Ended up ordering a quesadilla and Korean chicken tacos, which was a nice change. The tacos would have been better with a little kimchi. This place also had a bar and beers on tap, which was nice since it was a really, really cold day. Will check this place out in the summer.

Disappointed, the rice was rock hard and the taco salad bowl shell was stale and lacked quanity or substance, it was definately not overflowwng as stated on the menu board. A very uneventful dining experience.

Guys working were good. Food is plain needs some seasonings. It all tastes the same.

Visit Date: September 3, 2015 Hubby and I decided to have our first dinner here. The food was just okay. I had the vegetarian burrito and he had the burrito that featured 3 different kinds of meat. Both of us agreed the burritos were just okay. The nacho chips were a mix of tortillas and nachos that resembled deep fried flat pita chips. The salsa was flavorless but I remedied that by putting hot sauce in it. Based on this place and another place I visited, Lake George is not a good place to eat Mexican in.

I stopped in with my kids for a quick meal and I’m happy I did. The kid meal is a great value, we chose the chicken soft taco that comes with fries for a bit over $ 5. The quesadilla is over priced at $ 10 but the best item we ordered was the fajita bowl. I’d go again for a quick meal.

I was hoping to give this place more than 3 stars. No can do. Their carnitas meat is done well. The taco itself is a hard shell with cold Shredded cheese. Home done tortilla chips aren’t very good. I did like my carnitas burrito, though it was more spicy than i anticipated. Don’t come here for a real«restaurant» experience. It’s more of a glorified take-out joint with young staff who are nice but don’t seem hugely concerned with a quality experience.

There’s two things that are great about this place. Fish bowl margaritas and outdoor seating on Canada Street. If it wasn’t for the fish bowls, I wouldn’t have even bothered with this place. It isn’t bad, but there’s just way better options along Canada Street that also provide outdoor seating. But for whatever reason, possibly the fish bowls, this place does seem to do good business. It isn’t often that you walk by and see an open table on the outdoor patio. During our last visit to this place, we actually sat inside and watched the outdoor patio like hawks for someone to get up and leave. We were able to make it outside before our plate of nachos was up. Which, aren’t the best nachos, but it’s something to eat while you’re drinking a fish bowl. If you haven’t guessed it yet, you should probably only go to this place if you’re in the mood for a fish bowl margarita. Otherwise, keep walking. There’s something much better shortly up or down the road.

What a great little find in Lake George Village. Food was tasty and fresh. Service was friendly and attentive. Nice beer selection on tap too. Would definitely go again.

came here for dinner our first night in lake George. after a 6+ hour drive from Toronto, I wanted something quick but good. we walked the strip and came across this spot. wasn’t impressed, it was overly priced fast food, and the good wasn’t even that great. the serving was a lot smaller than the server described and I was still hungry after we ate. we got the pork enchalitas and chicken with beans and rice dinner and two beers– our total before tip was over $ 35. too expensive for fast food!

Decent food for a decent price. You are in a tourist town but you want a quality burrito for a decent price? This is the place! We have been here a few times and it is just your average little joint but the food is always consistent and the beer is cold!

Highly overpriced. Service — not experienced, didn’t even greet us. Had to wait for 20 minutes to give an order. Taste — considerable.

Why must everything be so deep fried? This place has great potential, but falls flat in execution and communication. If the kitchen only cooked the food to a proper temperature, and if the front house made the decision not to double fry everything, this place could rate an easy 5

Not the best Mexican food but far from the worst. Tried an $ 11.99 burrito(ouch, pricey) and was definitely hoping for more(burrito size is average, chicken was dry and not really flavorful). The chicken fajita bowl was quite good, would eat that again. Guacamole came with both dishes which is ok, nothing too extraordinary and very mild in taste so i wouldn’t order it on the side. Service was great and they have a small section to eat outside. Would recommend this place if you’re in Lake George and craving Mexican, especially for drinks, the bar was packed on a weekend afternoon!

Great place for lunch! I had the fajita bowl and my husband had a BBQ beef burrito– both were really good, although my husband didn’t care much for the retried beans on his burrito. We also got the house margarita… was good but, could have been stronger. I would definitely try it again tho!

I look forward to this place every year. Great food(I always get the«dos manos» burrito) and good drinks. Salsa is on point and goes perfect with everything. Staff is friendly too. Recommend for a quick bite for lunch or dinner. They have in and outdoor seating and sometimes if your lucky, theres live music. Good for couples and families. You like margaritas? They have plenty of flavors.

I have been to Pablo’s once, and that was enough. I was walking by and stopped in during the summer one afternoon looking to get a few tacos. The young girl at the ordering counter was distracted and not sure of what she was doing, but that is not unusual for Lake George Village summer help. I put my order in and was waiting for my food when I overwhelmed with some of the foulest language I have ever heard in a family restaurant. The bartender was doing shots with two girls at the bar. Every other word out of his mouth was a loud f*** bomb. All this at 3:00 in the afternoon. Now I have no problem with loud, foul mouthed, obnoxious bartenders who drink on the job, but not in a supposedly family friendly restaurant in the middle of the day. I didn’t say anything, I just got my food, ate, and left. The food was sub par. I will not be going back. Just be forewarned that if you have children, or if you are not in the mood for obscene barroom language, avoid this place. It may not be like this all the time, but why take a chance.

Over the weekend, I stopped in here after spending a good afternoon walking around busy Lake George Village. Located on Canada Street, this cozy Mexican eatery serves up burritos, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, fajita bowls, salads, desserts(churros & fried ice cream) and a kids menu. There’s also full service bar serving beer, mixed drinks, and margaritas. The prices here are fair, especially for Lake George, most items priced under $ 10 and the food comes with complementary chips. See the menu and pricing at The place is very cozy, order & pay first at the register for your food & drinks and then take a seat at one of the tables or stools at the bar inside or enjoy al fresco relaxation at an outside patio table with umbrellas out in front on the sidewalk. Your name will be called when your food order is ready or the staff will deliver your food and drinks to your table. Pablo’s was very busy and crowded when I stopped in here for dinner takeout. There was a short line at the register, so I waited for almost 8 minutes before placing my food order to go. I ordered the Texas BBQ Burrito($ 8.49), a Fish Taco($ 3.49), and a Diet Pepsi fountain drink(used a free drink coupon with burrito purchase). The service seemed a bit scattered, though the staff was working hard getting food and drinks out. There was only one dedicated dude«sweating it out» and assembling the burritos and tacos behind the counter, so it took a while to get my food. The Diet Pepsi was almost forgotten(not written on the order slip) and I gave«friendly reminder» to another staff member(not the cashier) who gave me my free ice cold drink, a much needed refreshment standing inside this«hot» eatery. The Texas Burrito was a good size, stuffed with good amounts of soft refried beans, shredded sweet BBQ pork, rice, lettuce, & cheese, wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. The fish taco had grilled chopped tilapia, lettuce, cheese, & tomato in a soft flour shell. The burrito tasted pretty good and it was filling to eat(I’d order it again!). The fish taco was A-OK, which also tasted pretty good, but a far cry from the authentic fish tacos served on the West Coast. Complementary chips were enjoyable for snacking, which consisted of very crispy deep fried flour tortilla chips and corn tortilla chips. (3.5÷5.0)
