Established in 1979.

Alan R. «Bak Fu» Vasquez Sifu is the founder of the Orange County branch of the Hawaii Wing Chun Kung-​Fu Association. As Chief Instructor Bak Fu Sifu has taught over 800 students in Orange County. Bak Fu serves as a Director in the Hawaii Wing Chun Kung-​Fu Association, Founder of the Orange County Wing Chun Association and owner of OC Wing Chun and the Lake Forest Wing Chun Kung-​Fu Association. WingChu​nAs​soc​.com and OCWingChun​.org are family owned and reflect the contributions of our clan to the Yip Man-​Wong Long Ching-​Yeung Biu Family.

Business Owner

Alan Vasquez born to Manuel and Irene Vasquez, December, 1949. A military dependent raised on the East Coast, Guam, California, Idaho, and Hawaii. Maryknoll High School graduate 1968. Vietnam Veteran infantry, airborne, ranger. Chaminade University, Honolulu, University of Hawaii Manoa ROTC graduate 1979. Army officer 2LT-​CPT retired 1988. Graduate University of West Los Angeles, School of Law. Juris Doctor. Learned Wing Chun as a ROTC student with the intention of being the best that I could be. When I was in ranger school as an enlisted soldier, I knew that the Chinese martial arts in Hawaii I was raised with were better than what was taught there at ranger school so I asked my Chinese friends to recommend to the best. Luckily for me and my students Robert Yeung had begun teaching non-​Chinese students like me, since that day in 1977 every breath has been Wing Chun. My wife and I are both Yeung Biu’s students. Both our children are also Wing Chun students.
