Came in on a Saturday at 4:40 (they close at 5pm) to get 4 batteries replaced on 4 watches. The lady was super nice and they replaced all 4 watches within 20 minutes. The guy even set the time and date on all if them. Best part, is if you bring in 3, the 4^th battery is free! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Very happy with watch tech. Needed a bracelet sized and they are close to my office.
They greeted me right away, took the watch into the back and completed sizing in a few minutes. Service while I wait was a huge bonus.

This place is amazing. I’ve had a few watches repaired by them and every time the service is quick, easy and high quality. Depending on what you want done with your watch, the prices can vary but always extremely affordable. I recently took my Nixon watch in to get a link removed because it kept sliding down my wrist and I wanted it tighter. Took them about 2 minutes and they even gave it to me free of charge. Owners are very friendly and make me want to come straight to them when I have an issue with any of my watches.

Excellent service and friendly establishment. Very impressed with Watch tech. I had to repair a watch with a rubber band. He fixed it in under 2 minutes. Other place told me it wasn’t fixable since it had a rubber band.

I came to get my watch fixed. Apparently I had to get my watch’s movement overhauled. When I got it back, the date’s face turned from black to white and was difficult to read. I took it back and the lady told me that it’s better that way (as opposed to how I’ve had it for over 15 years)!
Since attention to detail doesn’t seem to be high on their priority, I’m not coming back. I’m taking my future business elsewhere.
Warning: if you want to get something done right the first time, avoid this place.

I needed a new band for my Dolce, a special Japanese Seiko I bought many years ago in Japan. They had every style band I could want at every price point I could need. The one I chose was great looking and an exceptional value. The service was also impeccable. Absolutely no complaints!

Regarding Mackay’s response, when I originally called I gave them the watch battery (377) because it’s engraved on my watch case. That’s when I was quoted $ 7.99 — not the way Mackay describes it.
The other store — David’s — replaced the battery in front of me while I waited and it took all of 3 – 4 minutes. If there was water damage it wasn’t an issue for him — the watch worked then and is still working fine now. If the person from Watch Tech had explained their opinion in the way that Mackay just did, we could have had a conversation about options to resolve any issue. All that was said is «your watch is dead — it has water damage» and that they were sure.
The bottom line, for me, remains the same. It was either an honest mistake — in which case I wouldn’t take my watch to them because the other jeweler had no issue with the watch Or it was reacting to a pricing issue caused by their inconsistency. That’s why I’ll be taking my watch elsewhere.

We come here for battery changes. Good price and super nice people! Good variety of watches, too.

Watch Tech: I’m coming back!!!
I tried taking the backing of my watch off myself to see what battery I needed to go buy, and after trying for an hour I drove over to Watch Tech getting there at 4:00pm (exactly that time because one of the coo coo clocks was going off when I walked in). I knew I had to be out of that place by 4:10pm in order to get to my next destination on time. I walked in, and was helped right away. She took my watch, said it was $ 7.99 to change the battery and was done in 7 minutes. I didn’t even tell her I needed it to be done quickly! She came back to me and said she would normally charge a dollar more since the backing was on so tight, but decided not to charge me that extra dollar. She asked if I needed anything else, and that was it. Super friendly, great atmosphere, COOL watches everywhere. They even sell «like new» Fossil watches for a discounted price! I told her that one day I’d be back to buy myself a nice Fossil watch for work. Glad I came in today. I would HIGHLY recommend this place if you’re looking for a WONDERFUL watch shop.

Confirmed good service from Unilocal reviews. I will certainly go back for any watch repair. Feel confident working with this company. Did not feel taken advantage.

I’ve been using these people for a long time, they are pros when it comes to all sorts of timepieces. They replace batteries, size my bands and sell me beautiful watches. The gentlemen in the back KNOWS watches and the beautiful lady in the front is always cheerful, knowledgeable and helpful. You can’t go wrong…

Great shop — great customer service — very happy. Great value too! I got an Armani watch crystal fixed here. The service is always friendly and the prices are a great value. Very happy with my fixed watch.

I took in my watch to get the battery replaced. I was told that it needed additional repairs. I agreed to the repairs and said I would pick it up the next day at lunch. Right at lunch time I received a call saying that they were not able to fix my watch. It was surprising to not be notified of this until last minute, not the best customer service gesture. When I went to pick up my watch, the hands were no longer connected to the post of the watch and are now free floating in the watch. I would expect my watch to be in atleast the same condition that I dropped it off in, not worse. They explained to me why but showed little concern about the difference in my watch’s appearance. This was upsetting. They told me that I don’t understand how watches are fixed. Although this is true, again not good business to belittle the customer. Maybe it was a translation thing but it came off rude. They told me they take no liability and walked away saying they did not have to listen to me. I am far from impressed and will never return to this place of business. Hard to believe companies stay in business with customer service practices like that. There were two people at the time working, an older woman and a younger man… both were rude.
I would rate this business with negative stars but didn’t find that as an option. I’ve rarely had to have a watch repaired but I’m sure there’s plenty of other repair places that value their customers and their customer’s referrals.

Lovely spot. The gentleman who resized my watch was helpful and allowed a readjustment. He made sure I found the right fit. The price was great. The service was 10 minutes in and out. All in all I couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended!

This is your old fashioned neighborhood watch shop. They offer repairs /​service such as battery replacements and also sell a variety of watches and clocks. I’ve been using them for several years and have been here at least 5 times now to have batteries replaced and even purchase watches.
GOOD 1: They have an easy to reach location with plenty of parking. It’s never hard to get in or out of this place.
GOOD 2: Their prices are very reasonable. The last 2 times I’ve been there were for battery replacements on my Movado & Tag. My total was less than $ 30 for both.
GOOD 3: Quality of work. On my various trips to have my expensive watches worked on they’ve never left a scratch, nick, or mark on any of my stuff. This is something that’s very important to me as my watches are very expensive and I treat them more like jewelry.
BAD 1: I normally point out things that need to be improved but in this case I really don’t have anything to gripe about.
Overall it’s a solid place to get your watch battery and possibly other service done. They’re fast and friendly, but most of all they’re quality and that’s the most important thing for me.

I went in to exchange batteries of two pairs of my watches at 5:30PM on Wednesday. The Asian lady at the reception area was polite. They’d honor the check-​in deal, which I ended up not using since I didn’t know one of the watches wasn’t battery operated till she told me.
It’s $ 7.95 for a battery replacement, and it takes approximately 5 minutes or so.

Got some links removed from my watch. It was fast. 7 minutes tops. Pricing was decent… nothing too cheap nor too expensive.
The store is clean. Just like how I like it.
I will come back here again.

This place is awesome. I came in to remove a few links in my watch. The woman behind the counter explained that there is no need to remove links. She adjusted the size for free. What a nice lady. I will definitely be back.

I needed 3 screws for the back of my Burberry watch and a new band put on.
After I waited 20 minutes I was told that they have any and I should go to the Burberry store in south coast plaza.
I purchased my band at the store in south coast and the lady at Burberry suggested that I go to a repair stop because they are just common screws and if not, they would have to mail my watch for repairs which takes 6 weeks!
I went to the shops at mission Viejo, fast fix, 20 minutes later I had 3 new screws and my new band on for $ 26.00
I will not be returning to watch tech
