Rimgate Park

Nice park but filthy. I mean trash EVERYWHERE. Not the conditions I want my kids playing in. Yuck.

Excellent park! Away from the busy street and nestled in a cute little grassy area and walking trail. Different sections for different ages and most are shaded. Not your average park, has lots of interactive features like a telescope and a revolving twirl a wheel! Plenty of picnic areas and one tennis and one baseball court. Walking trail loops around a big green field and has workout stations (including an elliptical) which is pretty cool.

The park used to be just ok… But the city injected some money and a little thought and effort into it and now it is pretty damned nice.
New bathrooms, exercise gear, plenty of open lawn space and three separate playground areas for kids 2 or so and up. Two half court basketball courts and a tennis court round out the activities.
My little boy has fun here and I will definitely be back.
