Owner died. Wife took over business and didn’t pay the rent. Manicurists raised prices without notifying customers in advance. If you get a manicure, no credit cards, check only. Have to pay stylists separate from manicure.

Based on the advice of another reviewer; Rosemary T., I called and asked for Mila Gordinski. There is no one who works there by that name.
I didn’t want to rate this place negatively as I’ve never been, so I gave it 5 stars, but I’m disappointed that the rave reviews about Mila are not true. Or, maybe she’s been so swamped with customers, she’s incognito! :0)

So, I wrote the review of the no-​chip manicure that didn’t last … and I am scheduled to have this problem fixed at no charge. I was upset that I had to go through my whole vacation with my manicure ruined, but I give this salon credit for fixing the problem.
Can’t imagine why this happened in the first place, the procedure was the same as always?

Mila Gordinsky is the salon’s esthetician and nail technician. I have had two facials with her and will continue to go to her. She makes the experience one to write home about. I have had many facials at a variety of salons, but she, by far, is the most knowledgeable and skilled. I almost hate to give this information out because she will be so busy that I will never get in.
