OC Window Masters

I purchased a Groupon for 18 windows and contacted Shawn. He was very prompt at answering my texts. For people who claimed he didn’t call or email, try texting!!! Anyway we set a date and time BUT then a couple days before, I got a text from Shawn saying we should reschedule bc the weather said it was going to rain!!! Thanks Shawn, I was so busy around that time didn’t have time to check the weather.
Sure enough when it was that day, it rained so it was good he cancelled our appt. We waited a bit and scheduled a new appt at 8am and he showed up on time ready to work! I was so happy with my clean windows !! It was my Mother’s Day present from hubby :)
I would use Shawn again next time I need the windows cleaned for sure. He was on time and worked quickly to get my windows cleaned.

Shawn cleaned my windows today and I am thrilled. He did a great job on the windows, including screens and sills. His price was reasonable, he scheduled easily and was here earlier than promised. He is very professional, polite and efficient. I will definitely call him again.

Shawn just did all of my windows in the town house from a Groupon I only had to pay very little extra Comet he is fast efficient polite and did a fantastic job! point I recommend him highly!!!

Shawn is the owner-​operator and was prompt and professional. Some people may have written some tough reviews during one particular Groupon special, because Shawn had a family emergency and couldn’t reply as fast as usual. This is unfair because family comes FIRST (I think we can all agree on that) and as soon as he was back in town, he was able to accommodate us with a quick appointment and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Not only did he clean our windows inside and out but also the sills, screens, and even went the extra miles to clean the outside frames. We have not had our windows cleaned in the 4 years we’ve lived here, and what a difference it makes! Now we will definitely be back and will have Shawn come a few times each year. That was a lot of work he did for a very low price. We highly recommend OC Window Masters!

I’m not sure about these other reviews because my experience with this company was amazing! Shawn returned my call promptly and we had no problems finding a time that worked for us both (We understand they already have prior bookings and don’t have the unrealistic expectations of next day service). He showed up on time, was very professional and kind. The work he did on our windows was nothing short of amazing! We had a groupon for him and found his company includes cleaning of screens and tracks and he was straight forward with any possible extras (French Windows etc. which we didn’t have) We will be utilizing Shawn from now on so we can actually enjoy our view through crystal clear windows! I highly recommend utilizing this full service company. Thank you Shawn for all your hard work!

I found Shawn through a Groupon deal and he was able to accommodate my window cleaning needs within the timeframe I needed. He was punctual and very professional. He did a great job on the windows and my house looks so much better. He was fast and efficient. I would definitely recommend him.

I bought a Groupon to try this company out, and I am glad I did! Shawn did an amazing job with the windows, tracks, and screens. He was really nice, professional, and efficient. I will definitely call him again and pay regular price. BTW, his regular price is reasonable, and well worth it.

I found Shawn through a groupon or living social deal a few years ago. I’ve used him 4 – 5 times now and highly recommend. This week I called on Monday and he was able to fit me on Thursday. He is super nice and does fantastic work.

I read the reviews after I purchased my service on groupon and was worried. I wasn’t in a hurry for the appointment so I was flexible on having to wait a few weeks because they were so busy, especially during the holidays. I finally got my appointment and I am very pleased with the end results. Shawn did a great job, my windows, window tracks, and screens have never been cleaner. He also cleaned my very large mirrored wardrobe doors which I can never get clean myself. They look amazing and sparkle and my spring cleaning has begun early this year. Having sparkling clean windows makes the day brighter.

I purchased a Living Social deal a while ago. It has since expired, so I contacted the company to get a quote to do the exteriors only. That was done by email, and they responded within the day. Then, I made the mistake of mentioning my expired deal and 7 emails later… still absolutely no response. I have even asked for them to give me the refund of the purchase price of the deal (which they have already gotten) if they have no intention of making an appointment.
If I could give them ZERO stars, I most definitely would, and am considering filing a complaint with the BBB…

I too wish there was a zero rating as I purchased this deal through Living Social and I kept contacting the owner to schedule an appointment working around his schedule, not mine… I was very flexible! I kept asking for a date for an appointment and he never responded. Please do not use, I’m not sure how this man is running a business… extremely unprofessional!

I wish there was a 0 star option. I purchased the Living Social deal and called in October to make an appointment. I was told that there were no weekend appointments prior to Thanksgiving. I was a bit irked as it seemed hard to believe there wasn’t a single weekend appointment in a month. But I wanted clean windows for Thanksgiving (house of 24 for dinner) so I figured I would come home early for work the day before Thanksgiving. The owner said no problem, they would be there.
The night before, he sent an e-​mail claiming his mom was in the hospital and he had to re-​scehdule. I felt bad for the guy. When he finally responded to my request to re-​schedule for the first available weekend appointment, he told me there was not one available until February 4^th– yep, that’s right more than 2 months later.
Again, not really happy with the significant delays between when I was requesting an appointment and when one was available, especially since he was the one who was cancelling this appointment. I figured he would try to squeeze me given the circumstances. Irked, I said fine, I want the ²⁄₄ appointment. Was assured there would be no problems.
Last night at 7:35, I get an e-​mail from the owner telling me his transmission went out on his truck so he hopes I understand that he has to re-​schedule the appointment again. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Do you really think I am that naïve?
Ridiculously long time to schedule appointments and then two appointments cancelled at the last minute (via e-​mail, no phone call) with flimsy excuses… I contacted Living Social and told them I want a refund so I can deal with a legit company that is willing to honor its obligations. Had purchased another coupon with another company and called them up today. Guess what? They are coming out next Saturday to do the windows. My suggestion to consumers: skip the aggravation, it’s not worth it. My suggestion to the owner: you definitely need to work on your customer service skills and how you run a business. You are not doing yourself any favors with how you conduct business!
POST SCRIPT: I contacted Living Social to get a refund. Mr. Window Master had told me that he would honor the coupon until April since the delay was his fault. Well, guess what? Living Social said that since we are past the stated expiration date on the Living Social deal, they will NOT refund the purchase price. SO… it appears that this is part of the scam… he just delays and delays until there is nothing you can do about it. You’re out your money and he’s never showing up. What a scam!!!

Purchased the deal through Screamin Daily Deals. I called and left a message. I got a call back right away, they told me they were booked for 6 weeks and I had to wait to get a window service. No problem, I made the service appointment for 6 weeks later.
No one showed up for the service appointment. I called twice, left two messages. No one returned my call.
I called Screamin Daily Deals (Spreebird) and requested a refund. They gave me a refund right away.
I highly discourage anyone from using this company. Take a look at the other reviews on here and you will get the idea.

Let’s start by saying that I bought the Living Social deal. Whenever I buy one of these group deals, I have low expectations on getting the appointment in a timely manner, but I do expect a quality product and polite and courteous interactions. And I got what I expected. The most challenging part was just getting an appointment. I left 2 messages when the deal first started and received no call back. Then Living Social sent out an email address and told us to use that to make an appt. That worked. The day of my appt, 2 very nice guys showed up on time but they told me they couldn’t do my windows. I have a 3 story town home and they wouldn’t be able to access the side windows with their equipment. They said they’d need to send another crew out. They offered to do the inside while they were there, but I declined and said I’d rebook it and do it all at once. I was slightly annoyed because no one asked me about my house when I made the appt, but again, I was forgiving since I got the feeling they were totally overwhelmed with their Living Social calls. I emailed the owner and he rescheduled and even came out himself to do the job. He showed up on time and did a beautiful job. Other posts complain about a mess, but he cleaned everything up very nicely. I know my place was very challenging (due to the 3 stories, some ill-​fitting screens and 10 years of built up dirt and grime but he kept a smile on his face and was very nice throughout the process… he even pet my cat after curiosity got the best of her and she started following him around. He was polite and very apologetic for any inconveniences I might have had. He explained how the LS deal has hit them pretty hard but he has a quality team doing the best they can and redeeming the deals as quick as they can. Seemed like a nice guy who is good at what he does who made a poor marketing decision. If the appt process was smoother, I’d give them 5 stars. They did a great quality job. I plan to use them again… I love my clean windows!

I also bought the living social window package and did also have trouble scheduling my appointment. But though Shawn was a ½ hour late, he did a great job on the windows. They are spotless, everything was cleaned and put back. I am pleased with the results.

I ordered a deal on living social — when I called to coordinate, the voice mail asked me to send an email. I did and received a response within a short time asking me my location & # of windows. I responded and never heard back! I emailed half a dozen times, and ONLY when I emailed to tell them I contacted living social to get my money back did I get a response. This company is very unprofessional — I would not trust them in my home. If I could rate lower than one star I would!

As in another review I was stood up 2X! I was told” the worker was injured over the weeknd” andI guess noone called to cancel. I guess not, since I took off work to meet them. the second time I was stood up again and no one bothered to call me. I emailed him and told him not to bother rebooking as I had already asked for my «Living Social» money back. The owner tries to sound nice in the emails, but the company sucks. I would never reccomend to others or use them myself.

First he missed my appointment (I took a ½ day off work to meet him at my house). When I got a hold of him, he blamed it on his «worker» and said he didn’t know anything about me and had no idea he had a job in OC. I don’t like being lied to. I know he lied because he knew a lot about me (how many windows I had, what city I was in, and that I heard of him through Living Social) when i didn’t tell him any of that on that particular phone call — only in the email when I scheduled the missed appointment (that was confirmed by him… twice).
Second, he was messy. He left dust & grime all over my window sills, and in my bathrooms. There was dust and dirt all around the windows he cleaned. I had to go around the house and clean up after him. He didn’t put anything back that he moved… I also had to walk around the house and put everything away — pictures, plants, etc. I also don’t think he did a good job cleaning the tracks. He just brushed some of the dirt out and then vacuumed them.
Third, he told me he needed to get up on the roof to reach a window. I told him he could not do that because the tiles were very delicate and broke easily. He claimed that it’d be fine. I told him no — he kept telling me it’d be fine. I finally had to INSIST that he NOT get on the roof — that I would not allow it. He seemed irritated. Not my problem. As the customer, if I tell you you cannot do that, please don’t insist that I don’t know what I’m talking about. I’ve seen what’s happened when workers have walked on my roof — I’ve had to replace the tiles!
Fourth, he damaged 2 screens and claims that it wasn’t him. One was the bedroom screen — I found 2 pieces of the screen laying next to the window. NOT there before. He claimed they were there when he got there. The 2^nd was my screen door. I had 4 – 5 guests in my house and we all watched him pull off the rubber strip on my screen door (one of my friends actually commented that it «didn’t look good» that he was taking apart my screen door). When he left, he tried to «push it back on» but it just sagged off the end, clearly not going back on. I emailed him to let him know it didn’t work and he claimed that I just had to «push it back on». I tried that. It still didn’t work. When I told him that, I never heard back.
I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN NOR WILL I EVER RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE. If I was able to give them zero stars I would.

I bought a deal through LivingSocial for this business. I tried contacting them several times but they never got back to me. I had to call LivingSocial and cancel my credit card payment.
