Business Owner
I started playing the piano when I was 14 years old. After years of listening to my father play boogie boogie and Blues, I decided it was time for me to start. I got out my father’s old boogie woogie albums and taught myself to play. I’ve been hooked to piano ever since. I went on to get heavily involved in all different types of musical genres including blues, rock, jazz, contemporary, and even classical. Now with over 30 years of experience, I strive to teach my students not only to play songs but to play the piano. Improvisation is something everyone can benefit from.
After all of my years of teaching, I am always excited because I get the chance to learn from each of my students. Thankfully, this allows me
to bend and flex to each student’s needs and wants. I take a friendly, somewhat entertaining approach to teaching, and I welcome my students ideas and thoughts and I try to walk with them on their own path of music.
