Dr. Paulsen, a native Californian, completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Cleveland Chiropractic College in 1982. After marrying in 1986, he and his wife settled in Lake Forest where together they opened Advanced Chiropractic Center in 1987.

Trusted by his patients not only as a doctor but also as an educator, Dr. Paulsen has lead numerous seminars on natural healthy lifestyles, injury prevention, nutrition and stress management.
