Del Taco

Best local Del Taco! Their food always looks fresh and tasty delicious compared to other Del Tacos. Their fries here are specially very good and crispy. So far my experience with them has been very good. Even though I have two closer locations to my home I drive this far to this place when I’m feeling like fresh fast food.

Hard to find, way in the back behind businesses. No trouble ordering and getting our food quickly. Only issue is that we specifically asked for ‘easy ice’, The cashier repeated it back and they still gave us a Macho sized soda with the entire cup filled with ice.

This is by far the slowest Del Taco I have ever been to I have been in the drive thru for almost 10 minutes with only two cars in front of me all I ordered was a half pound bean and cheese burrito and a medium iced tea. As I finally pulled up to the window I see 4 employees inside laughing and messing around As I am sitting here at the window still waiting for my burrito. For reference today is Saturday August 8^th at 4 p.m. to make matters worse they did not even wrap the taco properly as I pulled it out of the bag everything inside the taco fell into the bag

This has to be my favorite Del taco! I eat at a lot of different Del tacos for breakfast & sometimes for lunch. Whenever I am in south county I always eat at this one. This one by far is the friendliest and the cleanest!

Once a week, almost every week, I stop in for their value pack combos of green burritos and tacos for my kids. They love the food, and so do I. This is probably the only fast food chain I feel comfortable saying that about. I also stop in, although not at this location, about once a week for my own lunch, and sample other faire. Pretty much everything they sell is fair to good or better, and nice and cheap. I can’t say the same for Taco Bell, which is really hit and miss.
I’m not suggesting in any way that any of this is Mexicana authentica, but just that it’s good comfort food, and super fast. Their burritos and salsa are also the closest in flavor to Naugles that I have found. Oh how I miss the drive through at Naugles…

This is the best choice if you want fast service, good tacos or burritos, and for cheap! Del taco never fails. Employees are friendly and greet you with a smile. In my opinion, del taco is better both in taste and quality than Taco Bell. They have a better selection for burritos. Overall good experience from this place.

Yeah, Del Tacos are everywhere and the quality stays pretty consistent. This place is not that much different from other Del Tacos. Staff is friendly so I feel quite comfortable chillin here at lunch time since my work is pretty close by. Prices are cheap and quality is better than Taco Bell.
My favorite is their Spicy Chicken Jack Quesadilla.

This is my go to destination when I can’t figure out where to get lunch. People here are very nice compared to other franchises I’ve been to. Location is not big and tucked inside an alley, but it’s nice. They always stuff the tacos and burritos fairly full.

If there is always a default place to go for lunch, it would be at this particular Del Taco. Nestled and hidden amongst the businesses, this place still gets busy in a good way. The staff are always attentive and the food is above normal quality. It is Del Taco afterall and I am a fan. My recommendation for any of you reading this is to try the chicken soft taco or their Beer Battered Fish Taco.

A hidden little oasis in a sea of bad fast food restaurants near by (The Hat does not count btw)
A love how this is one of the few Del Tacos with an outdoor eating spot that is in a shady spot under some nice trees. Fresh food and polite service.
Why would anyone want those drink fountains?
They ruin the flavor of ANY drink you pour due to the fact they pour the last flavor into the cup thus mixing sprite and coke together to form Garbage water!

Fair customer service, above average atmosphere, lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Food was better than average.

I love this place! Great food, nice employees. And they sometimes give out coupons with your meal.

This is the neglected sibling of the other location across the freeway. Sure it may not have the drink fountains with a hundred different flavors and it may be a chore to get to (in between auto shops), but you get decent service and a ton of coupons.
Coupons are good.

My favorite guy was there today! He gave me my card before the food and when I asked for hot sauce he gave the DEL INFERNAL!!! I know I oscillate between one star and five stars, but it all depends on the people there.

I usually don’t write reviews on fast food places, but I felt the need to write one for this particular Del Taco. It’s kind of hidden in an alleyway between Centre Drive and Lake Forest Drive, so many of their patrons seem to be only those who work around the neighboring office buildings and shops.
I’ve only been here twice so far (when I’m heading home after 5:00p with kids in tow and don’t have the energy to make dinner), and both times I was pleasantly surprised at how stuffed their tacos and burritos were. I can’t believe that the Irvine locations had convinced me that chintziness was the norm. If I need a Del Taco fix, I’ll be coming here from now on (it also doesn’t hurt that The Hat is nearby too… hehe).

Red Burrito, Regular Quesadilla, Regular Soft Taco, Chicken Soft Taco, Chili Cheese Fries, Mr. Pibb, repeat. I grew up in Lake Forest and went to El Toro High School. This place was a staple. If this one is busy go across the street to another Del Taco.
