My first time at this salon was Saturday and I loved it! The staff is so friendly and accommodating and the young woman who worked on my nails was so sweet! She did such a great job– exactly what I asked for! I will be going here from now on!

Been coming here for the past 4 years and never had a bad experience. the whole staff is friendly and pretty efficient. It is a little bit pricey but it’s worth it. Bob and Pauline are great. They accept debit/​credit but charge $ 2 to use it. I recommend you call ahead and make an appointment. Sometimes the wait is a little long because they are so busy, but they always do a fabulous job.

Love the quality of nails they do here. They can do pretty much any design you bring to them which sets them apart from other salons. Will return soon.

Updating my review because TARA does such a fantastic job at my gel manicures. See the pictures I’ve posted over the years. I’ve switched from acrylic to gel and love it.
They have sooo many colors here which is great to choose from.
I hear they are getting new stations in soon which are much needed.

Years after years, this place goes above and beyond! Always keeping up with the new trends! Lots of gel colors to choose from. Great quality and customer service. My favorite is Pauline and Bob. They are truly amazing! Their work is flawless. Always making sure you leave happy with beautiful nails.

I was recommended this place but I really wasn’t impressed at all. I went in for a fill ended up with a new set since the girl decided to make me get a new set they are not long and I had to get a pedicure while sitting in the chair and it was so hard to feel comfortable. I should be able to decide if I want a massage right? I was forced to get my toes done while my new set and still paid $ 27 like a regular pedicure spa set up:/ I was looking forward to relax. It’s really over priced I’m not sure what everyone else in lake forest likes to pay for exactly? This place is ok maybe for an emergency not for quality service, or customer service.

I only go to Pauline… The person i had today didn’t understand that black glitter didn’t mean huge chunks of silver glitter and then you can literally see nail through the corners. And I don’t understand how a $ 17 fill in the board went to $ 32 after gel polish. Not thrilled. When I go to Pauline, I get my money’s worth and have not even questioned the price.

Wow, talk about a good deal! I think they’re best known for acrylics but I got gel on natural nails. $ 25 for gel and $ 3 for gel removal. So cheap! Quality depends on the technician, though. Rachel forgot to shape the nails on my left hand so I had to remind her. Other than that, I was super happy with my nails.
They charge $ 2 extra for card transactions so bring cash.

Love this nail salon.
It is starting to get so busy here that evn an appt doesn’t guarantee much. Expect a long wait but great people and great atmosphere.
Suggestion– ppl that are getting pedicures. You should let them sit in the chairs and soak their feet. Otherwise you aren’t getting a pedicure and relaxing you are just washing my feet which i can do at home. Haha

Tara did an amazing job on my gel manicure. I’m very happy with her services and recommend her highly! Prices are pretty comparable with other nail salons in the area. The only reason I’m not giving my experience a perfect 5 stars is that the place charges an extra $ 2 if you pay by credit card. It’s 2016… who constantly carries cash with them nowadays?

My friend and I came here for the first time on my birthday and they are hands down the best nail salon I’ve ever been to! They seated us (walk-​in) right away, and I got a full set of acrylic-​gel nails with airbrush, 2 types of glitter and stars on every nail for $ 40. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they did it so perfectly. Definitely would recommend and definitely will return! Bob is the best!!!

I am so upset. Why can’t I give them negative 100 stars? I went there to get my acrylics removed and a basic manicure. Simple enough right? The woman who did my nails was AWFUL. She should be fired and have her nail technician license revoked. She was being SO ROUGH when removing my acrylics it was so incredibly painful. THEN, she was clipping the acrylics off in the dumbest way I’ve ever seen and clipped a chunk out of the center of my nail. All the way down to the soft skin. I’m talking COMPLETELY through. It was so incredibly painful I wanted to cry. I started bleeding and she just casually continued the manicure. I was like «what can we do about this?!» The manager came over and told her to glue it and put some acrylic powder over it until it can grow out.
I was like «okay, fine.» I mean what was my option? Walk out with a chunk of the center of my nail gone? And I’m talking right by the cuticle. I’m so angry I cannot even express it. She just started glueing it. I was like «shouldn’t we wash the blood off or disinfect or something?» And she just shook her head and kept going so it was too late. I wanted to smack her across the face. But, I am a god fearing woman and held my tongue. I was biting my lip because I have not experienced a pain like this. I’ve been getting acrylics for years. I understand sometimes it can be uncomfortable to get them removed, but this was atrocious. She proceeded to give me THE WORST manicure I’ve ever received in the 10 years I’ve been going to nail salons. Pain everywhere. Cuticle not trimmed. Poured alcohol all over my hands. Skipped nails while applying cuticle oil. It was busy so I was not about to make a scene, but I certainly was close. She then wiped the cuticle off my hands with the same towel that had my nail clippings all over it. DISGUSTING! I was just so angry. Then, I tell her she completely did not cut one of my nails evenly and she scoffed at me. I swear I almost socked her in the jaw. We finish, and I go to the drying station. It’s finally almost over. I’m texting my boyfriend in a rage and then. she comes back over to me.
Hold onto your hats. Do you know what this b**** said to me? Can you guess? It’s worst than you could ever imagine.

Can you believe this? She just made me bleed by her OWN 100% fault. My nail will take months to grow back properly. And this woman has the audacity to CHARGE me. The place was pretty full, so I just paid the amount because I did not want to make a scene. This place is disgusting. I will probably get an infection because of this woman. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. It’s not worth it.

I really like Tara. She’s sweet and is a perfectionist. I just wish the place was cleaner. Also, the music can wear on you after a while if you’re not in the mood for high energy dance music.

I basically feel like I’m at a rave while I’m here. This nail salon is rad and if you live around here you know of it. I am not one for short boring nails and they always deliver killer long acrillycs here.
This is your place to go for the best unique nails.
Some of the designs people get are super whacked out and tacky but hey, that’s what you come to Belage for.

Been going here since I was 13 and it’s the only nail place I have gone to since. I never have to make an appointment with anyone because every single nail technician is amazing at what they do! Back when duck feet was popular they were the first nail salon to do them. They have awesome airbrushing for any design and literally have anything and everything to make your nails look fab! They are on top of all the new nail trends way before anywhere else.
Bob is the best but I love them all! Highly recommend this nail salon over any in Southern California.

Been here three times in the last month or so. Pedicures come out great and Annie did my acrylics last time and I was very very pleased! Will definitely be going back to her for all of my fills.

Never coming back. I used to be SUCH a faithful customer however I made an appointment and ended up waiting almost an hour and a half before I walked out. For sure never coming back. Their prices have gone up and they do not clean anything here. It smells 100x worse than it used to in here and is literally a pigsty. I took my business down the street to Twin Nails and they do a much better job. They’re honest with the wait time and prices. If you’re like me and looking at Unilocal to find a new nail salon while waiting 2 hours for this place, go to Twin Nails! You will not be disappointed.

I really hate to do this for a place that I’ve been going to for so long…
I started getting my nails done here six or seven years ago and have been a loyal customer ever since. However, I have been increasingly disappointed by… well… mostly everything.
I initially came here because the previous place I was going to kept cutting me, and I was sick of getting hurt. Yes, I understand the occasional slip. I don’t expect perfection.
Unfortunately, one of my more recent experiences, Johny (sp? he sits at the first table on the left) used the grinder and went all the way through my nail into my skin deep enough to make me bleed. Somehow… I was still charged full price. And on top of that, I had to go in not even a week later because the nails were so poorly done that two of them just fell off and he didn’t fill them to my cuticle so it looked like I hadn’t gotten my nails filled in three or four weeks. The nails were too thick. He did a terrible job with the gel. He used a paper towel to wipe something off my nail, ruined the gel, and didn’t even bother to fix it.
On top of that, I brought my mom in around Christmas time because I wanted her to get a special character painted on her nail, and I knew Pauline had the ability to do beautiful nail work. Since then, my mom has also become a loyal customer. She goes in every two weeks to get her nails painted with gel. Sadly, she too has gotten hurt. It’s ridiculous.
Bob used to be awesome, but now he just sits around and does nothing. Pretty sure he’s a drug addict. I’ve seen him pop pills more than I’d like to admit.
Most of the ladies are really rude, except for a few. I can only name three that I personally like: Pauline, Katie, and Kelly.
I think Katie and Pauline do the best work.
Kelly is fantastic, and she does her best and she’s super, super friendly and sweet. However, the last couple of times I had her do my nails, she, like Johny, did not go close enough to my cuticle.
I’d suggest only going if you want a lot of options for gel color and airbrush designs. Other than that, find somewhere else.
