All American Mobile Detailing

I usually get my car washed about once a month at local hand car washes and they always do a very average job; outwardly clean but usually a good deal of dirt left behind on the interior/​exterior of the car. I drive with my dog most days so I had a good amount of dirt and dog hair floating around in the interior my car. I decided that it needed a good detailing. I found All American on Unilocal and decided to give Mike a call based on the reviews. I called him around noon and he said he was working another job on the other side of town and would head over to me as soon as he was done. After Mike showed up, he spent about 2.5 hours painstakingly cleaning the interior and exterior of the car to make sure that it looked perfect. After he was done, he walked me around the car and went over what he did and how it was done. His professionalism and work ethic is stellar. Great, great person and wonderful work.

Michael was one of the nicest guys I have had the pleasure of doing business with. Very knowledgeable and never at a loss for words. He detailed, nay, RESTORED my 2002 Toyota Tundra from what was a hideous excuse for a 4-​wheeled vehicle to a fresh smelling, bright shining road worthy truck again. His experience spans over 40 years in the detailing industry and he knows just about all there is to know about cleaning cars (and more). I would most certainly recommend his services to anyone who’s got a car in need of desperate attention. What can I say? Mike is your guy!

This guy is really a cool cat. When he pulled up in his Acura to detail my inside of the car, I thought where is the big machine and trailer I see so many carrying around. Well, this guy went well over 3 hours to make sure the puke in my seat (not from myself or my family members, we know how to control ourselves) was completely out. All he needed from me was my electricity so no generator obviously. My car has not looked this good since I got it and feeling bad the amount we agreed on, I had to tip him some extra dough. I wanted Michael to detail my car, and get a few paint scratches out that I had from a previous car accident. What he did was completely restore my car’s exterior! He fixed parts of my car that were sticking out and the paint scratches were all gone! My car looked so different, I hadn’t seen her look so shiny in years! Michael definitely knows what he’s doing and he’s got great customer relations. I’d definitely go through Michael again. My car looks great!

I have my ML320 full detail with All American Mobile detailing today, and I am so glad that Michael Cyrus show up on time and take a lot of pride on what he does. He is a perfectionist, he fully detail the interior, the engine, and the exterior and it’s look like brand new car, both my husband and I can’t believe that now he makes my husband car look like just come out from the show room and my S500 does not look as nice as the ML320. I highly recommend Michael Cyrus to anyone who wants their car look in perfect condition. Even Fletcher Jones just fully detail my S500 recently it’s still does not look good as All American Mobile Detailing. You have to try him to see it for yourself. It’s hard to believe the internet review boards, however, the customers have spoken and are right on the money about All American Mobile Detailing. Mike, is an outstanding person, and brings his background of the sciences into auto detailing. I had him work on my new 2015 Tahoe and he truly made the Tahoe look like 2016 edition.
His work ethic is second to none. Knowledge is exceptional and will inform you on current techniques of polishing and detailing along with other fine concepts of cleaning the interior. I was so impressed, that the next day, I had Mike detail my father’s van.
I can go on and on about the attention to detail, but the proof is in the pudding. The car dealership told me they spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars to get my Tahoe showroom ready. Sitting at night, looking at my Tahoe after Mike spent 3– 4 hours pampering my baby in the drive way. I laughed, Mike is the true superstar to helping getting your vehicle that showroom shine.
I highly recommend talking to him at least at the very start of your search online, so you can speak to the best then talk to the rest. You will agree, he has energy, professionalism and knowledge.

WOW! The work done with only 2 cups of water is amazing. The extreme detailing left my car smelling and looking incredible. He buffed the headlights back to a shine i have not seen in years. Michael is my new car guy.

I called Michael in an emergency at 7:30 AM. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and agreed to come same day. I had a nightmare of a problem with mold growing inside my car. He took care of everything and even cleaned the engine bay for me. Michael spent around 2 hours just cleaning the inside of the car and did an excellent job!

I initially decided not to leave a review for the detail that Michael performed for me, however after getting two subsequent details done by two other shops I can honestly say that the level of service was not commensurate with the price.
I had a truck detailed by Michael before selling it. The truck, admittedly had a lot of dog hair in it and a fair amount of wax buildup on the paint that needed addressing. The truck was detailed at my office while I was at an off site meeting. When I returned the truck was complete and waiting for me.
I pay to have a vehicle detailed because I want all of the small details addressed. The details that were missed on the truck were:
1: Copious amounts of dog hair left between the cushions
2: Dirt in the AC vents, door pulls and other cracks
3: Dirty door jams. No care was taken to remove grease deposits from hinges where dirt had collected.
4: There were still bugs stuck to the front of the vehicle
5: The truck was not clayed, only waxed over existing wax/​compound (this is likely my fault because i failed to realize that he charges extra for this usually normal component of a detail job)
6: I dont believe a vacuum was used on the vehicle, as when I took the truck home to remove the left behind dog hair, a fair amount of dirt also came out of the carpet (my vacuum has a dirt sensor and the light was red and orange when I ran it over the carped under the floor mats).
To be fair Michael offered to return later to fix the missed details, however I did not have the luxury of having time for that. I think that these are very basic things that should be correct the first time.
For the price I paid, other detailers not only clay the vehicle, they do at least a one stage paint correction (polishing or glazing compound) with a DA. This was also the only time I have ever paid a surcharge for dog hair.
When I expressed my dissatisfaction, Michael defended his work and made a point of pointing out how good he made the bed of the truck look. I believe that the customer is right, and that if I am dissatisfied I should be listened to and not argued with. Further, the last thing I would be concerned with when detailing a truck would be the bed with a spray in bed liner. They get washed out with a hose and that is all she wrote. There was so much shining compound on the bed liner you could ice skate in it.
The last complaint I have is that months after he detailed the truck he sent me a random and obscure text message late at night that woke me, my wife and my 1 month old baby up that read verbatim:
«I will be on national television MSNBC for single handedly curing Californias drought problem spread the word»
Overall he did an acceptable job, however for the same or less money a better detail can be had with less strangeness. 3 stars for his work ethic and offering to right what was wrong. Deducting one for poor price parity, a half star for arguing with me and a half star for the late evening text message.
One Caveat: I have close to $ 1000 worth of detailing equipment and supplies in my garage. As such my standards are likely much higher than most peoples. I detail my own weekend cars and I only pay to have vehicles detailed that I am selling or are daily driver /​commuters. Take my review for what it is, a perfectionist car enthusiast’s take on someone else’s detail work.

Holy Cow!!! Michael aka Dr. Cyrus is the MAN!!! He made our camping van and Toyota 4 Runner look like NEW. Mike worked all day and well into the night to detail our cars and he did a splendid job. We are not very good with our cars. We off-​road our 4 runner and have gotten the body scratched and the van takes a lot of beating as well. Mike’s work made both vehicles look like they just came out of the showroom. He had us empty everything inside and he cleaned every nook and cranny. I am super satisfied. Yes it’s not cheap but you get so much more than what you pay for with Mike. He is so easy to get along with, it felt like he was family. We are so grateful for all his hard work and would not hesitate to recommend his services.

This guy is legit. Good work and fair prices. He definitely went the extra mile. He showed up right on time and got straight to work. Very friendly, and takes the time to walk you through everything he did for you at the end. I called 2 other detailing services before him and they both were flakey and kept giving me the run around. Now I know who to call and who I can rely on. Thanks Mike!

Michael spent 4 hours on my car and it is spotless! Seats cleaned and treated, wax, wheels, carpets washed, trunk and inside consoles and clean of all crumbs and sand. I agreed to the $ 45 engine cleaning (if dust does effect those hoses, they are WAY more expensive to replace) and I can’t believe the difference!!! Great value and friendly guy. He could use a partner!

This is my 1^st time getting my Harley Davidson detailed by Mike at All American Detail and I have not seen my bike look this good since I purchased it! He pays close attention to detail, and goes the extra mile to ensure that you will be beyond satisfied with his work. There were areas of my engine that I did not notice before that are visible now, wow! He even buffed out my helmet and treated my gloves that I left on my handlebars! Haha
Beyond his work ethic, he is also a nice and cheerful guy. I strongly recommend his services on any motorcycle or car. Thank you Mike!

I have Been Using Michael at All American Detail for the past decade. He is by far the best detailer in Orange Conty. His prices are very fair. He is always very accomodating. He is the most honest person I know. I have never seen anyone clean a car the same way that Michael does it.
One time I had a saint Bernard throw up and defecate in the back seat of my car. I had to go out soon. Michael left my car smelling like new in no time.
I recommend giving Michael a call on your next detail!

There’s no way I can give less than five stars for Mike’s outstanding service. My family and I were vacationing in California when we accidentally spilled half a gallon of milk in the back trunk of my wife’s aunt’s car. We thought we had gotten rid of the milk but were plagued by a disgusting, overwhelming, putrid smell that reminded us of rotting cheese and death. We poured a chemical cleaner in the trunk along with a boatload of ask freshener after wiping down the trunk, but the stink refused to die and instead grew so strong that we were gagging with the windows down.
Although my wife’s aunt graciously told us not to worry about it, we couldn’t very well return her car in that condition. Fearing that the stink would eventually strangle someone to death we desperately looked up car detailers who could help us out.
Mike bravely answered the call and then came down to my wife’s aunt’s house to battle our stink demon. We retreated to a safe distance after showing him the monster. After leaving him alone for two hours I decided to brave the stink to see if he was still alive. Not only was Mike still alive, he was hard at work using his cleaning kung fu to kill that monster. Mike cleaned that car for more than six hours straight without complaint and managed to not only get rid of the smell, but made the car look like new.
In addition he is a very nice guy. Can’t ask for more. He singlehandedly saved our vacation (and possibly our lives). I could not recommend his services enough! Worth the money x10.

After spending a few days searching the internet and Unilocal for a place to detail my car I finally settled on All American Mobile Detailing. I contacted him in the morning and he said he would be by my office within the hour and was there in about 30 minutes.
First lets touch base on the price/​value I have had several details over the years and nothing even comes close to comparing to this. I received the complete detail which details your interior and exterior. The going rate for this is spot on with other competing companies for $ 150. I figure this would be about 2 hour detail but Mike went above and beyond spending extra time on it to make it perfect. With the time and attention to ever little spot in the car it could EASILY be valued at $ 350 for the detail as some of the other «high end» detail companies have on their website. My car is 7 years old now and it looked as good if not better than it did when i drove it off the lot.
Something that I did not know ahead of time but was amazingly surprised to see is that Mike barley used any water to wash my car. Yes, let that sink in for a minute because I had the same reaction. Mike used less than 1 quart of cleaner on my ENTIRE car so he is by far the most Eco-​friendly/​green detail operation I have ever seen. Not only does this save water in Southern California while going through a drought but it also prevents any of the washing detergents from going into the sewer and then the ocean. Truth is I am still floored by the quality of work using little to no water.
Mike as a person was very easy to deal with and very knowledgeable about not only his business but how what he does impacts the environment and surrounding things. We probably chatted for a good 30 minutes after the detailing was done which just goes to show you his business is more than just a business, I feel he really truly enjoys seeing a satisfied customer.
Quick summary:
Value — you get much more than you pay for.
Quality of work — second to none, what you would expect to see at a Ferrari dealership .
Eco-​Friendly — He uses barley any water (still amazed).
Amazing attention to detail throughout the entire car.
(you know when you get back in and have to readjust your seat completely that every nook was looked in)
