AA Smog Test Only

Said he had 3 people ahead of me and that I would have to wait and I should leave the car with him because It would take a long time but it didn’t. Took only 5 minutes to get car into his little shop. If i were u id never leave the car alone with this guy. Lying straight through his teeth.

After reading the good reviews, I decided to check this place and very glad I did. Called and mentioned that they were recommended by Unilocal reviews. I was given a good price and would receive a free retest if needed. Some places do not give a free retest and charge more. Went without a appointment around one and it took maybe 20 minutes or so. Will use AA Smog again.

Ive taken both my cars here now since the beginning of the year. The asian gentlemen there works very fast and I have been in and out of the shop within 20 mins. The price is very competitive. Thanks for servicing my miata and civic. Will return again.

Good customer service and was very helpful in answering any questions I had. Came at 8:50AM on a Thursday morning and was out by 9:00AM for a Smog Check. He was straight up about the price and applied a $ 20 off discount for the Smog check bringing the total to $ 51 (including an $ 8 DMV fee).
Doing my smog checks here from now on.

After reading about discounts and great service I wonder if they came to this facility. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and told them that I almost cried when I realized I hadn’t renewed my car registration on time and had to pay a substantial penalty that I couldn’t afford. Imagine my surprise and despair when I received a bill for almost $ 72. And the young man handed me the bill with a smile.
I obviously will never come here again nor will I recommend this place to anyone else.
I felt royally ripped off.

Got quote over the phone. Gave me an additional discount when I came in. Fast and easy. Only one car ahead of me. He also stayed past 5 to finish my car. I was done within 30 minutes in total. Will definitely come again.

Excellent Service! I chose AA Smog due to consistently excellent Unilocal reviews. I called in this morning at 10:30am and spoke with John. He gave me an 11:20am appointment time. I arrived on time. John was friendly and polite. I filled out the paperwork and gave him my keys then prepared to sit outside on one of the plastic chairs and wait for 20 — 25 minutes. Decided to look for a coffee shop to walk to using Apple Maps but no luck. Then I searched for restaurants and found a McDonald’s 2 buildings south on Rockfield. You can’t see it from the smog station due to the multi –story hotel in between. A 30 second walk and you’re there. Free Wifi too! I arrived back to the smog station 22 minutes later and my car was ready and good to go. Thanks John!

Had to get a smog check and found AA Smog check on Unilocal.Liked the rating and thought I would give them a call. Spoke to the owner, John who was very helpful. When I met John, I appreciated his honest and how friendly he was, those are two qualities I always look for when getting my car serviced. I highly recommend A A Smog Test.

Called John for a same day appointment arrived at 11:30 AM as instructed and as he just finished with another customer, I was in and out of there in the time he said it would take with no inconvenience to my schedule at all. He did what he said he would do in the time frame he said he would do it… How unusual in this business… Thanks John… If you need a smog there is no other place to go…

It’s that time of year again and this time my registration fee is slapped with a smog check — no bueno.
Called around looking for a certified place and was lucky to score with this place literally 5 minutes away from where I worked. Called the guy up and he was super friendly, even offered to pick up and drop off my car when it was done but that was too weird for me. I’m just obsessive about my car.
Service was super quick, attentive, and fast. It took about 20 minutes for everything and the price point is $ 50 but he’ll give you a coupon and if you’re nice, he’ll give you even more off. I don’t think he ever charges anyone the $ 50.
It’s a little hard to find if you don’t know where you’re going so head directly to the Shell station and park out back and then you’ll see the signs and the smog shop.

Super late writing this review since I got my last smog back in september but I had to say this place is an easy go to. I showed up, made an appt since it was a busy weekend day, and came back about two hours later. The computer was down, but John was able to squeeze me in as the last customer for the following weekday. I was actually referred to this place by another smog check station down the street that (silly me I forgot to check) wasn’t star certified. Got the discount, test was quick and easy.
There’s no waiting area so you’ll be in the parking lot hanging out. They do have some chairs though if you need to sit, and of course the gas station has a little mart area if you need a drink or if it’s too hot or cold out.
Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

Brought my car here for the first time and was very pleased with the service. John was very friendly. He asked me if I had a coupon, which I didn’t but gave me $ 10 off my smog anyway. It was done within 20 minutes.

I just had my car smog checked yesterday. This Star Certified station is run by John, a very friendly guy to work with. I would recommend this place to anybody!

Love this guy. John was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very considerate and took the time to observe that I take pride in my car. He kept the obd2 cable under the door instead of hanging on the sill and on the paint. He also made sure that he was very careful getting in and out of my racing bucket seats. I was also in and out within 20 minutes. Super fast service!
