Nothing but the run around with this guy. 7 days later multiple conversation and still, nothing but lies.
To all, I would avoid this mechanic!

Saw Eric today on 2 of our vehicles and he really did a great job at a reasonable price (under 100.00 for 2 oil changes, air-​filter, check engine light and Mini «S» model inspection) also gave us an estimate of things that could be done at our discretion. (No pressure) Our son referred us here as well after having a great experience with his own car. We have a family worth of cars that we fully intend on using his shop for as we feel that he will work out great for our all our business. He is reasonable and absolutely went above and beyond today to help us. Thank you Eric!
Btw …I should also point out that he also spent the time to inform us about our type of vehicle and what could go wrong, how to prevent it, and how much it will be when it needs to be fixed. Easy to talk to and a big help at seeing the whole picture with our vehicles. Thank you! We will be back!

Eric Johnson was recommended to me by a neighbor a few years ago and he has been my go to mechanic ever since. He has been awesome. In addition to his great service and prices he always goes out of his way to get the job done right and on time. I’d recommend him to anyone.

Once again Eric has fixed my ford f150! Having an older 2005 truck with an after market lift has been a challenge but every time I have brought it to Johnson’s with a new issue they fix it timely and efficiently with a reasonable rate. Thanks again guys!

The best and only advice I will give ANYONE thinking of taking your vehicle to Eric and Johnson’s Auto Repair of Lake Elsinore Ca is: DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.
The short story of over a month long ordeal with Eric and Johnson’s Auto Repair is; I brought in a vehicle that ran perfectly, and picked up a vehicle with a «check engine light» that never went off until I took it to a reputable facility that asked me if the previous work had been done by «a friend in his back yard». And then spent over $ 600 to do the work Johnson’s Auto charged me for, but never performed.
The ONLY reason that I had brought my vehicle to Eric was that he was recommended by a very good friend… Eric turned out to be totally dishonest, completely unreliable and will shake your hand and agree to a resolution in lieu of going to small claims court, and then totally shine you on. He installed used parts that he claimed were new, and as it turns out from photographs and testimony from an expert witness, never even did the repair work that he charged me for.
And the friend that recommended Eric, he brought his Son’s vehicle in a little after my experience, he ended up having to replace the engine after Johnson’s Auto did a head gasket job… They are no longer friends.
Believe me, THIS GUY IS A CON MAN!

From a business Vender that Eric used to repair his customer’s cylinder head and pay with a BAD check. Then give us the run around story’s for weeks. I have spent money on parts, my workers labor to complete the valve job, Install exhaust guides, surface and adjust valves. I trusted Eric Johnson. Now I DON’T take checks.
If you are planning on using this business, please be advised that he has proven to be dishonest, he not only lied to us about the check, he also told us that he made $ 20,000.00 per month in credit card sales, but his acct. couldn’t cover a $ 486.00 check, that he apparently had no intentions of paying. He asked us to create a fake estimate for his customer, so that he could charge them more for the job. BE AWARE!

I had taken my car to a different shop for an oil change (first mistake) and they messed up my oil pan and plug. I brought it back to the other shop again (second mistake) and they couldn’t fix what damage they had done and my car that never leaked oil was now leaking like a civ. Thankfully my boyfriend knew of this place and sent me there. Eric and the entire staff took excellent care of me, saved my oil pan and were able to repair it (thank you so much for that!!) And had me out of there on my way.
I truly appreciate the honest and hard work. It’s great to know these guys not only do a great job at their work and keeping their customers happy but it’s also awesome that they are a loyal automotive shop.
Aside from the great experience their waiting room is cool too, thanks again guys! :)

So a few weeks ago I was driving from Palm Springs back to San Diego with my two young kids. Right as we were approaching the Menifee area my ’03 Sequoia started making some awful sounds and losing engine power. I limped into a shopping center and parked it. Mind you this was at 4pm on a Friday. I figured this was either the perfect situation to be completely ripped off by a mechanic… if I could even find one at this time… or I was going to have to rent a car to get home and leave my truck there for the weekend.
Fortunately there was an AutoZone in the shopping center. A guy that worked there gave me a card for Johnson’s Mobile and told me Eric was a really good guy and would come to me. Perfect. Except when I called I found out Eric was no longer a mobile mechanic but had a full shop a few miles away. I told him I couldn’t drive the truck any farther, and he said he had a friend with a tow truck that would get me right away and give me a great price (and he did!), and Eric said he would stay late to help me out!
We got to the shop by 5pm where Eric was waiting for us. Now I am no car dummy, but at that point he could have told me it was almost anything and I would have had little choice but to accept it. Within five minutes he diagnosed the problem as a bad spark plug and coil… a relatively cheap and easy fix! He called his buddy at NAPA and had him rush the parts over even after they were just closed, and had me back on the road in no time at all for under $ 300…including the tow!!! We even made it back home in time for my daughter’s softball game!
Eric is such a good guy and was a total hero to me and my kids that day. If you even think about going to anyone else in the area you are a fool. Oh, and be sure to ask about his pet ‘dog’!

Great customer service and a knowledgeable mechanic who takes the time to explain what he needs to do. He also prioritizes repairs, so that you can budget for them. What is not to like? I found this place through my son Jeff and I am forever grateful.

They have amazing customer service, and always make sure that your car is well taken care of and running right.
