History

Established in 1977.

Opened May 1977 as a Gulf Service Station @ our old location {126 SW Main Blvd} remained at this location until Aug of 2004 when we moved to a larger facility just two miles south {2550 SW Main Blvd, Lake City, Fl.} to be able to accommodate our growing business. We have grown our business to include a towing fleet that can handle anything from Tractor Trailers, Motorhomes to Automobiles. While still maintaining an up to date repair facility. We strive to be the best in our field. Our technicians are Ase Certified.

Before moving Lake City in 1977 to open Lake City Gulf. I began as a mechanic in Pennsylvania as a teenager. Started work with a tow company and leaned the trade. Graduated from Heavy Equipment Training, and worked for a company for a few years until the opportunity came up for this business in 1977. Started out as a two man operation with gas and minor repairs. Opened another location for a few years and decided to concentrate on the one main business. Giving that my full attention we grew as far as our location allowed. We moved our business to the new location in 2004, where we remain today. We have been in business for 35 years. I am an ASE Master Certified Technician myself. And also A PWOF Certified Driver in Light, Medium and Heavy Duty Wrecker.
