Seated us 30 min late which is a little annoying when you have a reservation and it’s a Monday in the off season but hey, it’s Disney. This did cause us to miss the parade and our last fast pass on a ride. After seated took about 10 min to get a salad. Drinks arrived five min after that. Salad was soggy. We then sat around for another 30 minutes waiting on food. I was frustrated about this. The food is family style. Everyone eats the same exact thing. To me this was not acceptable. My girlfriend best described it like this. It was like eating at Lubys only we paid three times more. Ham was dry and seemed to be three days old. Roast was just gross. Turkey was actually ok, but did remind me of cafeteria food. Sides were ok. Nothing to be happy or unhappy about. So for two people it cost about 70.00 and really was NOT worth it considering the lost time and fast pass.

The food was okay, we ate there for dinner which was a all you can eat thanksgiving dinner. There were some hits such as the potatoes and green beans. The ham was also good. The pot roast tasted like dog food though. Also the service was atrocious, given there is no menu and everyone gets the same items, waiting 45 minutes for you food from the time you sit down is unacceptable.

Food is good but the service is really slow. First day I was there, it took forever to get seated. When seated, it took forever to get the server to come to you. Only have time to eat appetizer and entrée before having to catch the wish firework. Second day, went there 10 minutes before checking in. Took 20 minutes to be seated. Then have only salad and bread to tie over for 30 minutes. The server keep serving a table who already have their entrée while leaving us and another table hungry. Have to leave because toddler was getting impatient.

Ate here recently with family as the park was closing. This is family-style dining with traditional Thanksgiving fare(turkey, ham, beef, stuffing, potatoes, etc…). The food was good but nothing special. Service was also good and reasonably quick, but the place was completely empty. Expensive for what you get, but it’s Disney and it’s less hectic than other dining options so a nice break from the parks. If you like traditional american fare and want a break from the chaos of the parks and quick-serve dining, this is a decent option. Positives: Decent food(as you would expect at Disney) but nothing fantastic, fairly quick service, unlimited so you can stuff your face if you want to. Negatives: Not a wide variety of options(set menu), bland, expensive for what you get.

This was good but I never thought it was anything special. Would be great for international guests to see what thanksgiving is sort of like but it was all kind of boring. Mac n cheese was great but other then that I could have made most of it. All family style and all you can eat so you will leave very full. It does take a long time. Nice to get all you can drink too, you can switch your drink throughout the meal! Their bathroom is also very small and upstairs which is the last thing you wanna do after walking the park all day!

This was our group’s favorite quick service restuarant during our trip to Walt Disney World. I ordered the seafood macaroni and cheese. They do NOT skimp out on the seafood. I got just enough. The seafood tasted rather fresh. Their blueberry cobbler tasted fresh as well. My boyfriend got the lobster roll, which actually wasn’t featured on the menu. I suppose they had it available for lunch, but they accommodated for our order for dinner. But the roll itself had plenty of lobster. We had ordered the lobster roll from a quick service restaurant at the Disneyland park in California, and they put more celery that lobster on their roll, so we were pleasantly surprised with Liberty Tree.

This place is a pretty solid location to eat if you are trying to get out of the heat and not wanting to eat food from a quick service location. We had a reservation and waiting for our table was minimal. They immediately brought us out their salad and bread. The salad was really boring. The dressing was bland and we didn’t really eat it. The first batch of bread they brought out was dry and crumbly. We told our server and he then brought out a brand new batch that was really good and tasty. The entrée that is brought out family style is all you care to eat. The turkey was moist and tasted really good. The pot roast was also equally as delicious and the ham was also really good. The ham was a bit on the saltier side but it is ham. The green beans were crisp and fresh and were perfectly steamed. The Mac and cheese was good too but nothing that makes it different or amazing. Dessert was pretty good and the vanilla bean ice cream is what made the dessert. Overall, we will come back here if our hunger pains hit us and we can get a reservation time that we want at crystal palace. The price of this place is also pretty decent given the prices of other buffets at Disney.

First time dining here and it’s a disappointment. It is way over priced. You get turkey, ham, and pot roast for the meat; Mac and cheese, stuffing, and mashed potatoes and then green beans. The pot roast has way too much wine and the ham is wayyyy over salted! The best thing is the Mac and cheese. They take forever to bring more food so you get stuffed before you can ask for more. Way over priced for such basic food.

For the price, this is a bit of a disappointment. The menu has a single item– an all you can eat Thanksgiving Dinner with a mediocre dessert. It was filling and generally tasty, but not for the $ 30 charge. I suppose the Disney markup is present, but I found this particular one to be more marked up than other restaurants in WDW. The service is a little slow, and there are tons of kids too, making for a noisy experience.

Surprisingly one of the better meals at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. All you can eat family style of ham, turkey, roast beef, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, a vegetable and rollls. If you can get past the salad which consists of old brown lettuce with a tasty dressing the rest if very good. Turkey is wonderful, mashed potatoes are great, as well as the other items. The only down side is you are so full when you leave you just want to go back to your room and sleep it off!

Great taste but just a few options, and very, but very expensive, they require reservation but if it’s full as usual you’ll wait for at least 20 min.

Best restaurant inside of Magic Kingdom! If you’re looking for a hearty meal to re-energize during a long day at the park, Liberty Tree Tavern is the place to go. My family and I have dined here twice in the past year and both times have been great experiences. I made reservations in advance for both visits and I’m so glad I did. The restaurant stays busy and a lot of times they are only accepting guests with a reservation, no walk-ins. The food is great. A variety of sandwiches and fries(regular and sweet potato), heartier entrees like pot roast and a turkey dinner, salads and some pasta dishes. You can also get healthier side items like a side a fruit or vegetables. They take food allergies(which I unfortunately have) very seriously. There is a separate allergen menu and the chef will also come to the table and discuss different meal options with you. How awesome is that?! Service is really good. The servers are very friendly, drink glasses are never empty and you leave satisfied with a full belly. We will definitely keep returning to Liberty Tree Tavern!

Definitely delicious. We all had a variety of meals from the pot roast to the vegetarian sandwich and all did not disappoint. However, we were seated very close to the handicap entrance where multiple family’s kept walking in and out from to take their humongous strollers inside the restaurant though their kids weren’t even inside them. Gerry was absolutely AMAZING and I fully recommend you try to get her to be your waitress.

During our 2013, «Around the World in a wheelchair tour» this is the gold standard in sit down restaurants, when you don’t have a reservation! But of course who’d travel to WDW without one? Riiiight??? Meals and service are always done well, if you aren’t getting what you want, do make sure to speak up, any castmember will be glad to help! I luv the portions here, and the selections are great, nice veggie options for our oldest. While hobbled I was able to crutch around without too much effort, they sat our large party at a nice sized table with plenty of room around it so that I could access the table with ease. We head back in the Fall, 2015, for our next visit, and yes, this place is on the«to do» list. The pork sandwich is calling meeeee!!!

This place was top notch. Always has been. Excepted this day we we’re Disne-Fied by our server Regardless of that. Really good buffet style eating. You have option of several different types of food and you can request one or all the options for another round. I have eaten at liberty tree tavern so many times and it always hits the spot. A must in Magic Kingdom

Liberty Tree Tavern is a Disney institution that has been around since the 70s. If you grew up going to Walt Disney World, you probably ate here at least once. I’m happy to say it’s still going strong! Lunch and dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern are two very different experiences. Lunch is a la carte, while dinner is an «all-you-care-to-enjoy» family style Thanksgiving dinner. The price for dinner can fluctuate throughout the year, and may cost more during peak season, but this is common for any of the all-you-can-eat dining experiences at Disney, whether it’s a buffet or family-style meal. At dinnertime, drinks are included in the price of your meal, and since the Magic Kingdom is a dry park, with the exception of Be Our Guest, everything offered is non-alcoholic. Everything is served family-style, and you can ask for more of anything. We begin with warm rolls and cornbread, served with butter, and Declaration salad, which consists of mixed greens and a side of homemade strawberry vinaigrette. I actually really enjoyed the vinaigrette, and thought it was less sweet than most berry vinaigrettes I’ve tried in the past. The salad course is followed by platters of Roasted Turkey Breast, Carved Beef, Sliced Pork, Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables(we got a combination of roasted corn and green beans), Herb Bread Stuffing, and Macaroni and Cheese. Homemade Cranberry Sauce is available upon request. If you love Thanksgiving dinner, you will LOVE dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. Between the three different types of roasted meat, and the array of side dishes, there’s something here for everyone. And again, since it’s all-you-can-eat, you can easily order more of anything your family deems most popular. We basically had no room for dessert, but it’s included in the meal so we tasted it anyway. Johnny Appleseed’s Cake is basic white cake filled with apples and dried cranberries, and topped with ice cream. I must say, the cake is actually really delicious! It’s about as classic as cake could be, a perfect reflection on the theme of the meal. I absolutely loved dining at Liberty Tree Tavern, and plan to visit again on a future trip. Please note that Liberty Tree Tavern will be closing for a 6 month major refurbishment during the second half of 2015. I’m not entirely sure what changes this will entail, but I’m sure the colonial charm will remain intact. PS Liberty Tree Tavern is very popular, and reservations are highly encouraged!

In all the years that we have been coming to Disney, we had always just walked right on past this place. Not even giving them a second glance. Then one day, our son mentions that he was eating here… the next day we packed up and visited the park. and of course, after a long day of walking and standing and riding… we were starved! This place is legit! We had dinner here, which starts at 4. They call it a buffet, and we were a little worried because neither of us really care for a buffet. Too many little and big fingers… well, fingering the food! This is not the case here! It is actually served family style. Food brought to your table for more than enough people. If you want more, simply tell your server and waalaa! Sliced roast, pork and turkey… mash taters, stuffing, gravy, corn, green beans and mac and cheese. Four different types of bread and an out of this world dessert! Yellow cake with raspberry sauce and vanilla ice cream atop! The food was delish! My fav was the corn. My honey couldn’t get enough of the meats. When, not if you visit Disney, but when you do… give this place a try, for dinner. Lunch is a regular menu that you order from. You will not leave hungry or dissapoointed.

This review is really bordering on a 2 star. Liberty Tree it a themed restaurant in the Liberty Square portion of Magic Kingdom. We came here for lunch with reservations for 12:20 and were seated with a short wait. The theme here is colonial America and although the décor is pretty colonial I would say it is a pretty boring theme, especially for the kids. They should probably fire off some muskets or something to spice it up a bit. Also even though this place is called a «Tavern» they do not sell booze here(or anywhere else besides Be our Guest). My wife had the colony salad with chicken and it was pretty bad. The greens were iceberg and they were soggy and wilted. The chicken was dry and tasteless. I had the Pork Belly BLT and I must say that it was very tasty. The bread is a little thick but boy does Pork Belly make everything taste good! I also had the clam chowder which was tasty. Overall, it’s kind of a boring place and the food is hit or miss. For the price you may be better off at one of the self service counters in the park.

Wow what a pleasant surprise. We were starved, unprepared and wandering frontier land searching for food. We decided to just test our luck here. Well it was worth every minute of the wait. The pot roast was soft, flavorful and balanced with veges. It was spacious. The service was friendly. It wasn’t my ideal choice for ambience in disney world but the old America feel was endearing and cleverly done. Caesar salad was also very good. They kept the soda refills coming.
