Disney’s Pop Century Resort Bus Stop

We just left four nights at the Pop Century Hotel in Orlando. The 90s section. The room sweats from lack of ventilation and smelled soured. The shower rod was rusted and the bath tub faucet dripped. The room was small and utilitarian. I did not expect to pay for a DisneyWorld accommodation that felt like Motel 6. The two beds appeared to be full size, but were listed as queens

The hotel is great. The price rate and staff can’t be beat. You can budget and have fun at Disney World. This hotel takes you back and forth to the parks and airport. The food is great too. I wish they had more variety of food daily but that can be overlook tho.

The pop buses were great as much at times it can get crowded. I feel like the bus service to the parks is great. They did make sure if there was a need for more buses for the guests to the parks they did a great job to accommodate all the guests.

The Pop Century is one of Disney’s Value Resorts, and yes, the buses do get very crowded. Some people assume they’re so crowded because it’s one of the value resorts. Not true. Buses at all the resorts can and do get very crowded. I have been on buses from the Grand Floridian, The Contemporary, The Polynesian, The Swan and Dolphin, The Boardwalk, etc. and have been crammed in like a sardine. It just depends on where you’re going and what time of the day you are going.
The buses run regularly here at the Pop Century just like any of the other Disney Resorts. There are times when the line to get to a certain Park gets extremely long, but the good thing is, the drivers on the buses see these lines and they immediately put a call in to Disney’s Transportation Department to have more buses sent. I have also been on a bus from The Pop Century to The Magic Kingdom and my husband and I were the only two people on the bus.
Disney runs a very smooth transportation operation and they get mad props from me for that!
