Travis is amazing. Our dog looks great and bc he comes to my house I see how calm Marcel is with him. It’s priceless to know our dog is not freaking out or totaly stressed. Thank you Travis you are the best.

The Best Groomer and Trainer!!! My family can’t express how grateful we are to Travis. We have three beautiful dogs that are our loves. Our Poodle had been getting groomed by a local groomer and to say the least it wasn’t a pleasant experience. Now that Travis does it our baby is very happy and looks great! We also have a Chow, who’s older and can be aggressive. Travis always takes the time to pet her before the grooming starts. Our last baby is a 100 lb German Shepard, he loves to see Travis and also has spent time working with him on his social skills towards people and other dogs, since he’s very aggressive. We can see a big change in him. Thanks Travis for being so supportive to our family when things felt crazy.

Travis is awesome when he pulls up in his van my dogs tails don’t stop at all they are wiggling and a wagon you cannot beat that and all the convenience that he comes to the house with two large dogs! I love him he still nicest guy in the world and my dogs love him.

Skills, experience, great service and personality,… I cannot praise enough about Travis. After a disastrous and almost heart breaking experience at a local pet grooming store, I researched mobile groomers in the valley. I didn’t want to leave my dog, Dante, out of sight with a stranger EVER AGAIN. I came across K9 Champ on Unilocal and decided to give it a try based on excellent reviews. Sure enough all reviews were spot on and this was one of the best decisions I made for Dante.
Travis is great and gentle with Dante. Regardless of how busy his schedule might be, he really takes the time to deliver impeccable service, answer any and all questions related to grooming, training and dogs in general. He is a veteran in this field with years of experience, no job is too big or small. His products are all natural and top of the line. Travis makes our life easy! Our two dogs are a bit anxious when it comes to getting groomed. In the past, I would drop them off at the groomers and this wasn’t a happy experience for them or me. One of my dogs would get so anxious that she’d start panting heavily & then release herself in the car which meant having to drive around in a fog of stink until I could pull over and take care of it. Obviously, this wasn’t fun for me either. I would always have to make sure there was a roll of paper towels, Clorox wipes and air freshner in my car. That’s when the light bulb went on and my husband and I decided to stop the insanity and find a mobile groomer who could come to us in the hopes that our dogs would not get so worked-​up every time they needed to get groomed. After searching and reading through the different posts about mobile groomers, I came across Travis and his business K9CHAMP Mobile Grooming and liked what I read. We knew after meeting him & our dogs’ very first grooming that he’s an expert groomer and has an innate understanding of animal behavior & temperament. He’s transparent and forthcoming & has a way of calming dogs down, while remaining in charge, with his approach and energy. We also enjoy his sense of humor and easy going attitude. Travis has been grooming our dogs now for almost 2 years and we are so pleased to have found him.

Thank you Travis for taking great care of my poodle during his grooming session. My dog was paralyzed about 6 months ago and with rehabilitation he relearned to walk again. He had not been groomed for 6 months and his former groomer abandoned us after this injury. It was difficult to find and trust a new groomer because we needed someone who can make a few accommodations with my dogs disability. Travis listened to our requests and made sure our dog was comfortable. Highly recommend Travis!

Travis is the best! I had suffered a disability and was unable to bathe both my large dogs (golden retriever and lab) by myself anymore. Enter Travis! As well as super soft and clean, both my dogs adore him. (And one of my dogs is hesitant to adore anyone.) Both cry at the door when it isn’t their turn. We have been having Travis come for at least a year now. Even during troubled times such as summer allergies, he knows how to treat them to make them less itchy, and there is definitely less shedding for a couple weeks after a visit. I HIGHLY recommend him and in fact, have many times. He currently does my moms oversized beast as well. So glad to have found him! You will not be disappointed!

Travis is A-​M-​A-​Z-​I-​N-​G! He has been grooming our 95 lb. golden retriever for quite some time and does a great job! We have taken our dog to Petco and other popular grooming places but the quality and attention to detail was lacking. When Travis first came, Mavrik (our dog) was instantaneously drawn to him. He handles him with care and gives him back to us looking squeaky clean! Now when we tell Mavrik that he’s getting a bath and Travis is coming over, he gets really excited! We are so thankful to have found Travis and will never try another groomer again. The convenience of having him come to you is nice to have since we live a pretty busy life. It is worth every penny!

My greyhound is a real handful when it comes to getting his nails cut. He cries and struggles, and the fact that he is 84 lbs and very strong makes it quite a challenge. Travis knows a lot about dogs and he handled him very nicely. It is a huge relief to have found someone who can do this for us.

Second haircut for Oscar today…
This time Oscar wasn’t as resistant to Travis when I handed over the leash which was a win-​win-​win situation for me, Travis and Oscar.
This time the result is also perfect.
I tried grooming Oscar several times and failed miserably.
Each time I factored increasing amount of time. My last attempt i planned on an hour, but spent almost 2 hours that Friday and almost the entire afternoon on Saturday with bad results.
The time, effort and skill required to groom a dog is significant. Travis did a wonderful job grooming Oscar again.

Travis is great I can’t imagine have anyone else take care of my baby Cane. My dog is crazy and Travis Hadley’s him great and always makes him look great. Thank you so much Travis

Travis has been great for our 3 year old Maltese/​Poodle mix. He was a rescue, and from what we can tell really hates being crated. We’ve tried a few different groomers in the area, and Travis is by far the best. He always takes great care with our dog. We’ve been using him for a few months now and have no complaints. I can tell he’s gaining a lot of popularity because we’ve had to book several weeks in advance recently. I highly recommend Travis!

Sadly for me, today will be the last day that Travis’s grooming my little ones because we are moving. I have a feeling it’s going to be extremely hard to find anybody that comes close to Travis.
He truly cares about the animals. His first visit was also my puppies first time being groomed. After seeing how my puppies are behaving, Travis thought it best not to attend to shave them that day. He was completely honest with me about the situation, and charged me a lower price since he did not cut their hair.
On the next visit he felt the dogs were more comfortable, and proceeded to cut their hair.
Today my animals kissed Travis’s face when he picked them up. Like I said before, it’s going to be near impossible to find somebody like Travis.
Your dogs are lucky if he’s their groomer.

Next appointment in 10 days so I think I will not use this business next time or not recommend to my friends

Travis knows what he’s talking about and did an amazing job grooming our 7 year old English bulldog rescue, Abigail. I was nervous taking Abi to a groomer because of her timid personality, but right away Travis brought out her bright side!
Travis is so professional and clearly loves animals! We’re so happy we found someone we can trust! He parked his mobile van right outside Cantinela Feed in Encino, which is how we found him and it was super easy! We highly recommend him! :)

My Yorkie needed to get rid of his thick winter coat and get his nails cut. After doing the research about getting my dog groomed and seeing the reviews here on Unilocal I decided to give Travis a chance.
Travis was great! He was on time and very courteous. My dog –Teddy loved him from the beginning to the end and he doesn’t like to get groomed very much. Travis groomed him perfectly and just the way we wanted, he cut his nails and it felt like we had a new but happier and more energetic dog after he was done.
Other positives were that he takes credit card and the price is very competitive.
We will be back!

I have a rescue dog who has some quirks and has a severe problem with being put into a crate for any amount of time. I had some pretty horrendous experiences with a few groomers around the San Fernando Valley so I decided to try a mobile groomer to give my pup a more personal, less crate-​like experience.
Travis is great! My pup tends to not appreciate men when she first meets them but she had zero problems with Travis. I think it must be the body language. I very much appreciate the experience of using a mobile groomer so she doesn’t have to be stuck in a crate waiting around for several hours for her turn to be groomed.
The last time we used Travis, my boyfriend called to make the appointment and set it up because I had zero time and the pup looked like a tiny white mop instead of a cotton ball. (She’s a 7 lb Maltese.) My boyfriend handed her over to Travis and mumbled something that must have slightly resembled what I wanted her to look like… I think Travis must have taken pity on my guy and he also happens to be really smart because he immediately texted me asking about specifics for her cut. Smart, smart man.
His cuts always look good and my pup never seems traumatized after she’s done with Travis, which I appreciate so very much.
Happy dog, good looking cut, extremely reasonable prices.

Travis is awesome. Took the «Yellow Shelter» color off our Chloe! Now she’s white and fluffy. Highly recommend, we have an apartment and he is still able to come to us.
Personally, I think he’s a genius about dogs. He’s so in tune with their needs.

Our dog Kaine (Labrador retriever) has been trained and groomed by Travis since 2006. We were thrilled when Travis started K9 Grooming. He’s amazing with animals. He’s a true dog whisperer at an affordable rate. Strongly recommended!
