History

Established in 2012.

We’ve been a part of Lake Almanor for over 20 yrs and here at the Branch we are trying our best to give each and every one a healthier experience at our restaurant. We’ve changed our oil to a «Rice Bran oil» which has tons of good benefits for all of us. Our Brioche buns are made fresh through a local company and have no preservatives. Our pulled pork, hamburgers & chili are made with fresh meat (not frozen) with the leanest meat possible and made right here in our kitchen. Our vegetables are always fresh and cut daily for our salad bar. We use quality meats on our pizza’s to give you the freshest taste possible. Our milk shakes are made with real ice cream and we even have sugar free for a no sugar tolerance. And not to mention we also carry a Gluten Free pizza crust. Everything is cooked fresh to order and we know you’ll enjoy every bite.

Every time me and my family are in town we eat at Pizza at the Branch at least once. I LOVE their Firehouse pizza with white sauce, my favorite pizza anywhere, the flavor combination is amazing. Their crust is always crispy on the bottom and perfectly chewy around the edges. I love their shoestring fries as well, always perfectly cooked and crispy. Other family members have had their burgers and sandwiches and like them as well. Great staff, very friendly and fun and always checking to see if all is good.

We’ve eaten here several times since they’ve open and they never fail to deliver great tasting food… not to mention that they actually deliver, which is unheard of in this area! I always get the pizza, but my husband has had the burgers and has a hard time deciding between the two. Keep it up guys!

Good Food ! but prices varied from one visit to the next… They really hike them up during «vacation» season and I mean come on would it kill you to actually put a ranch or two when I ask for one. Please? Overall would eat again

Super yummy pizza! Ordered the ‘big game’ (combo) soooo good! The service is prompt friendly and totally great! They are so friendly and welcoming! The free wifi was awesome as I was jonsing for a lil internet on my phone! Love this place and totally recommend it. We’ll definitely be back!

Good for the area. Extremely nice family runs the place. Great kids menu pricing. Chicken wings are large, kids liked the teriyaki. 5 $ corkage. Not thrilled with the pizza — doughy crust. Huge milkshakes, worth a trip on it’s own for this. Would have given 3.5 stars if possible — but rounded up b/​c they were so nice to us and our kids.

Great laid-​back atmosphere. Pizza was delicious! We will definitely come again. We had The McFly which was just as the young man that brought us our drinks described — «the bomb». The only complaint from the kids was that the kids meals were a little small for the older kids, however, they were very reasonably priced. Next time we’ll just get another pizza instead of the kid meals.

First time ordering pizza from this place and I am glad we did. The crust was excellent and the topping choices unique. My favorite of the two we ordered was the Crossroads Meat Lover’s Pizza. Loaded with meat, including bacon and with a slightly tangy sauce. Also had the At The Branch, which was done with white sauce and chicken among other things. The wings we had were decent also. We are new to the Almanor scene but will definitely be making this place a regular stop.

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had and that includes several staples on the east coast. Their sauce has to be homemade because it is delicious and they put plenty on. I asked for a taco pizza and instead of telling me they didn’t offer it on their menu, they asked me what I wanted on it and came up with one on the spot. There are several pizza places in the area and to be fair, they could all be delicious. But I’m going to have a hard time trying the others with this kind of flavor and great customer service. Thanks for the great experience.

I travel to the area to be with friends and we decided to give this place a shot since it is fairly new. We ordered «At The Branch» without their tomato wheels the first time. Man, that crust is what the big pizza companies should have had when they advertised eating the pizza backwards. Their teriyaki wings are definitely worth it. We almost called in another order of them because we ran out quickly. Garlic fries are tasty but need to be tossed or shaken a bit more to spread the minced bits around. Ingredients were delicious and service with kindness has always been there. If I want to go get some food from a restaurant then this is the first place I think of. 5 Stars.

We really were impressed with this place. We showed up with a group of 7 on a Sunday night at 6:30 and they close at 7. We felt bad but were welcomed with open arms. The pizza was delicious, especially the crust. They even let us stay late to watch the 49ers game. If you are in Almanor make sure to give this place a shot.

We got take-​out and ordered a variety of pizzas for a family gathering. I was quite surprised at how great they all tasted, and I was considering not taking the risk and drive up to Westwood instead to Buffalo Chip’s. My son keeps raving at how good the pizza tasted. My aunt says the burgers are good too, so maybe next time.

Great and affordable restaurant. The pizza is to die for. The burgers are made fresh each day. The service is great and the staff is very friendly. Love the sports room. You can enjoy a great meal and watch your favorite sports. Save room for dessert you won’t be disappointed
