Stone & Mulch Place

Not a good business experience, talked with a young man who didn’t want to listen to me. This person was not even the owner. The owner was in a Orlando location. He was very argutivementive. Seemed like he had to be right, and get the last word in. At this point, I’m not interested in doing business with this company.

I stopped at this business, as I was interested in purchasing stones for a project around the pool. The owner Gary was very pleasant and I was shown around and decided on the shells. I ordered and same was delivered efficiently within a few days. I would definitely recommend this place for all your needs.

After trying to find some rock to put at our house, I came across this place. Called up on a Saturday to get see what they had available and to get prices. The owner (I believe) answered the phone and was very nice and helpful.
We made the 45 minute drive to load up the truck. It was loaded pretty quickly and we were gone. The price wasn’t bad and it was WAY cheaper than buying it in bags at Lowe’s or Home Depot.
When we got home and started unloading it into the ‘flower’ bed, we started to see that what he loaded into the truck as the bottom of the pile. Which meant that there was a LOT of dirt mixed in with the rock. After a while it seemed that there was more dirt than anything.
My dad who used to work with rocks of this nature started saying how bad of a job the guy did with the backhoe and loading the rock to be getting THAT much dirt.
All in all, yes, it’s rock who cares if there is dirt mixed in. However, when you’re paying by weight, dirt can get quite heavy when there is a lot.
