Pushy and rude salesperson told us the pendant we were looking at was «too small» even though it was relatively very expensive compared to its quality. Made us feel bad for it, so we left with nothing instead of buying what we had originally wanted. Isn’t «too small» sale better than no sale? Happy customer better than insulted customer? We checked out the Maui Divers Original Shop (not affiliated with this corporation) and received a much warmer experience with better quality jewelry.
I looked into Maui Divers Jewelry more and this is a big chain jewelry store in the islands with around 50 shops and a big factory pumping out «high end» items from Oahu. Overpriced mass produced gold. You’d be better off supporting the smaller, family owned&operated shops across the islands. Nothing but fake aloha here to take advantage of visitors.

I looked at the jewelry hoping for a turtle charm for my charm bracelet. The lady that assisted me was very helpful and nice. I told her what I was looking for and she brought out a perfect turtle. It’s my birthday week so Hubby didn’t hesitate to purchase it for me.
The sales lady gave me a free dive and I got two black pearls. I don’t like pearls but black is my color :)
The price was reasonable. My silver charms I’ve purchased are the same price and not as beautiful. I’m very happy with my purchase. A great experience!

Bait & switch. They tell you 40% off & it’s the first oyster for that price. Second is full price of $ 14.95. You can’t have more than two oysters without setting .
Once you go for the setting they hit you with supper inflated prices. My calculations, easy over 400%-500% of the gold or silver market price. Try saying no to your wife on your honey moon. They know it & will use this agains you & you end up paying.

I have always had a secret desire todo this but would never admit it before, so this was the perfect opportunity… I told my daughter she really should do it! I had my 19 yr old with me, her 1^st time on islands. She drew the discount paper and got 60% off the oyster pick. (reg. $ 14.95) she selected an oyster that had a beautiful black pearl with purple tint. As she looked at mountings I took an oyster dive. I got a pink pearl. As I selected a pendant mount they gave me a free second «dive» and I got 2 of the purple tinted pearls in it. I chose a set of earrings. My 2 other friends then took a few dives and selected some beautiful mountings. We had fun, we spent some money on our selves and enjoyed ourselves for the most part.
OK, my daughter and I like the lady we got. She had a Swedish type accent and played the part well with the scripted lines and hawker schtick. She did it so well that we felt special, lucky and excited. Unfortunately my other two friends didn’t feel the same way about the girl that helped them. Apparently Leilani rubbed them the wrong way right off the bat. They did not like her demeanor at all! But, we were all happy with our purchases and enjoyed ourselves none the less.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful jewelry. Their staff was very friendly and helpful without being pushy. They helped me find something in my price range.
Now I need a necklace and earrings to match my beautiful ring!
