WE LOVE THIS STORE!
Every year we come back and buy the cutest stuff! From dresses and jewelry to books and home décor, this is a must visit boutique for any Maui vacation! You even get your items in a reusable shopping bag instead of a paper or plastic one.
The staff is super friendly and helpful.
The styles are always current on trend.
There’s a sale rack right outside the door.
The baby section is absolutely adorable!

i recently checked to see if Hale Zen cared enough to help me out after I had lost my purchase to TSA. Turns out, they do! I purchased my favorite diffuser scent with a welcomed courtesy discount and they are shipping it to me! Aloha lives at Hale Zen! Mahalo.

Simply put, I love this store. It is beautiful and unique. My only complaint is that there isn’t one in Southern California. Walk through, then walk through again. It’s hard to catch everything on the first trip around because there is so much to see and buy. The Aloha spirit greeted us as we walked in and we were well tended too. I can’t wait to go back. I wish they had an online store I could tell all my friends to check out!

While this boutique smells amazing and has some really cute merchandise (think Etsy meets Hawaii), the sales staff is snooty and the prices are really inflated.
I don’t fault folks for trying to make a good living, but this was just overboard. In the roughly 1 hour (two separate trips with two different people) I spent in the shop, not a single person greeted me. To make that worse, on the first trip, my sister-​in-​law and I were the only people there and when my husband and I visited, only one other shopper was in the store.
I live in DC, so I know snooty and high prices, but snooty boutiques in the DC metropolitan area aren’t selling items that preach «zen» and «aloha» as a way of life. It felt very disharmonious. It’s a shame; had the experience been more positive in the store, I probably would have spent a pretty penny.

I give this shop two stars for the welcoming aroma and most all of the merchandise. We travel here most every year & I’ve loved coming here. I bought my niece some earrings a couple of years ago and the bead (faux black pearl) split after about a week. Last week I da in Hale zen, bought some things & mentioned it. The lady said yes it was a bead & she felt sure the artist would replace or fix it. That lady wasn’t there today and the lady who was told me they didn’t offer anything. It WAS two years ago and they were ONLY $ 28. Not a good answer to me. Sorry, I really liked that place.

This is a fabulous place to pick up gifts for people at home along with household accessories/​décor for you. I would call it beach house chic style. Candles, kitchen items, vases, etc. Super cute stuff. They also have a really nice selection of women’s clothes sandals and cute baby and kid clothing.

Worst place to go if you want customer service. My wife and where the only people in the store and we walked by the font register multiple times and both workers did not even say a word. The only thing they said was have a nice day after we already left.

The Best and most beautiful home store on Maui. Off the main strip and worth it. I am in love with this home boutique. I am completely inspired. I bought several items today and I can not wait to go back and buy some more pieces for my home.

My absolute favorite store in Lahaina. Quality and unique merchandise from children’s to Home goods. Lisa and her daughter, Molly, shoot the entire staff, are not only adorable, but oh, so helpful. They are located on Dickinson next to Penne Pasta. A MUST when on Maui.

I just visited Hale Zen to buy my sister a 50th birthday gift. I found a very special necklace and purse that is perfect. I have decided that I am redecorating my condo with Hale Zen’s help~just very sweet Hawaiian and beachy finds. This is the best boutique in Lahaina, hands down.

Hands down, my favorite shop while staying on Maui! The items they carry are so carefully chosen, and are so unique to Maui, which is key when trying to find some non-​cheesy souvenirs to bring home. I got my sister a fab necklace and got a few items to spoil my 6 month old baby bump with when she arrives in July. ;) We actually visited this store 3 times in the week while we were there, each time finding something new we «had to have»! Also, the sales girls are so friendly!

Love, love, love this place! Best shopping on the island by far. Have been let down with all of the mainland chains– hale zen shines in a sea of junk. I wanted to buy everything in the store– it took great restraint on my part! Beautiful clothes and jewelry from island designers, gorgeous linens for bed and kitchen, candles, hawaiian sea salts, cool shoes and belts and bags and cover-​ups. Oh my! I am getting lightheaded just thinking about it. Thank god the amex card doesn’t have a limit. Praise for this shopping mecca!

Awesome customer service! We were there at the beginning of this year and my wife bought a ring that she loves.
