Specialties

PWOPhoto specializes in portraiture assignments of all kinds. Weddings and other events, private portraiture, boudoir shots, and family sessions are the most common. My style of image is a classic composition, vintage look with simple minamul posing to keep the subject comfortable and let their personaily and look show through.

If you require hair or makeup, wardrobe or a location just let me know. I am able to line up any services needed.

History

Established in 2004.

Starting as a hobby, something I love, it quickly came to be my primary job. I enjoy what I do, and will make every attempt to utilize this in my work. We’ve worked with Patrick on a number of occasions. Thanks to him we have been able to capture many memorable family moments. His warm and friendly personality put those he is photographing at ease which makes for a fun photo shoot!
Patrick is never short on ideas. He always makes great suggestions on how and where to shoot. He is also very good at working with small children and pets (and that is no small feat).
I highly recommend Patrick. He is a very talented photographer whose enthusiasm for his work is unparalleled. We consider him our go to family photographer.

Patrick does great work. He was the photographer at a wedding I attended and he was so personable and fun!!! When I saw the wedding photos I was so excited by the quality of the pictures. I was also impressed by how many photos he was able to get of the guests that attended the wedding. I have attended dozens of weddings where I never was able to get a photo with bride and groom unless I was in the wedding party– but he got multiple photos of what seemed like nearly all the guests and many were with the bride and/​or groom. They are some of my favorite photos on Facebook!

As a former Photographer, I have had the pleasure of working with Patrick as his assistant for a Wedding last year. He is not only an awesome Photographer for ANY occasion you may have… But he actually listens to what you want and makes it happen! :) He makes sure to take all the shots you request plus some you couldn’t have even imagined! He’s a pleasure to be around and does a fantastic job making you feel comfortable while setting up beautiful natural shots!

Truely a wonderful photographer. Patrick was so patient with the «challenges» that came up with planning a wedding and being in the Military. He was so flexible. Patricks pictures are so beautiful and really made our engagement and wedding pictures spectacular. Working with Patrick he really made the shoot comfortable and allowed us to be ourselves with each shot. I highly recommend Patrick to anyone looking for quality pictures. I hired Patrick to photograph my SF City Hall wedding. He came highly recommended by my best friend.
He was full of energy from the first moment. He had a warm personality, and immediately made my husband and I feel comfortable.
He was fantastic at directing large groups of people (like my family) from any distance. …Even when they weren’t listening…
When I received the photos, I was really impressed. Especially by an overhead photo he took of our ceremony. Our ceremony must have lasted 10 minutes total. I have no idea how he covered it from the ground floor, and ran two flights of stairs above, in that amount of time. During the ceremony, we had no idea he had run up there!
I would definitely recommend Patrick’s Photography for any special event.

I hired Patrick for a school project and he was amazing! Having inexperienced models, he took the initiative to direct and create a comfortable atmosphere for them resulting in amazing shots. He listened to and understood my concept enthusiastically and with determination to give me exactly what I was looking for, and he definitely delivered. I will most certainly be working with Patrick again in the future!

My fiancée surprised me by having Patty come to Monterey the day after he propsed so we could get our engagement photos done! It was so fun! Patty kept us laughing and got some beautiful and unique shots! We were able to do casual on the beach shots, as well as dressy ones in the hotel. He had great, creative ideas and was really dedicated to getting the shots we wanted to make everyone happy (us and our family)!

It was my parents anniversary and I wanted to make it special. Patrick had a great idea of going to a nice park. We went to China Camp in Marin and he took both Candid and poised pictures of the family. We all had such a great time and the pictures came out beautiful. He really captured our individual personalities as well as how we are as a group. We are so so happy with the pictures and what a great day.

A friend recommended Patrick to help photograph a wedding. I was hoping he would be at least useful on the day. What a surprise! Patrick was a star — he suggested tips for better shots of the ceremony, inspired the guests to gather for group photos and was a technical wizard behind the scenes.
