Love this place. Great Sandwiches and the Deli always seems to have something new. Turkey burger sandwiches, pastas, parmasian chicken, great salads. Hanna and Mora the owners are great, friendly and always seem to be willing to put up with our customized«kid» sandwich requests. Jose and Arelio are awesome. Thanks for the great food and friendly service guys.

My husband and I were camping at Samuel P Taylor and we stopped by this place to check into what we could get to make for dinner. We were shocked and pleasantly surprised that we got the best chicken piccata we have ever eaten here. It was truly AWESOME!!! We booked our next trip camping there based on our dinner from the Lagunitas grocery and deli!!! We plan on visiting there again and again!

Very tasty deli food! I go to the Lagunitas Grocery more and more, and I have really liked everything I have ordered from the deli. The breakfast burritos are great and really hit the spot. Other favorites of mine are the pesto pasta, thai/orchid noodles, Spanish rice, grilled eggplant and grilled salmon. If you haven’t been here before, the store may not look too impressive, but the food is quite good.

The drinks we ordered from the café were disgusting. Service was very poor, the older woman who made our drinks was extremely rude. I ordered a Chai and it was lukewarm and appalling. Gave me a stomach ache after a few sips. My sister in law got a vanilla latte and it was burnt. Grocery store was cute, had some odds and ends but very expensive. Didn’t purchase any food, but the menu looked extensive. Disappointed with the overall service and quality of this place. Don’t go here for the café, use as a last resort! If I could give this negative stars, I would.

West Marin and on the way to Point Reyes and beyond. I found this store to be excellent. Why? This store makes very good food, out of its DELI. It is all fresh and very tasty! They also, have Free Internet which comes in handy for us travelers, via Bike or Car! The store is stocked with most the needs for a house and for campers at Samuel P Taylor Camp. The prices you see here, albeit some protests here on Unilocal are normal for West Marin and Stinson Beach or Bolinas, and even Point Reyes Station. Bike Riders, this a neat spot to stop get some food, drink and rest. You can as well upload your photos and journeys. Remember there is a table behind the store that is often missed and nice to eat at. In all things, this store is run by a local person(s) and is where the locals come to be and get their food and needs if, getting to town is out of the question and —Just because it nice to come and hang out here and have coffee and see the local people going about their business.

Don’t come here for odds and ends. They are too expensive. DO come here for the food in the deli case or their sandwiches. The range of delicacies in this deli spans turkey burgers, crab cakes, meat loaf, smoked salmon, Italian sausages, chicken and tuna salads, and more. All fresh and fabulous. DO come here for the outdoor seating in the sun, and WIFI. Just plain terrific.

Kind of surprising. You feel like you are headed to the edge of the earth, going no where and then there is this little gourmet delight. Nice deli. Nice people. Not too pricey. Funky. Local. Great!

YUM! We stopped in this deli/grocery on a whirlwind trip to find my friend’s missing brother. The first time we stopped in the place smelled SOAMAZING from whatever they were cooking that we made a mental note to come back when we were hungry and didn’t just need supplies. The next day we stopped in and got a variety of eats and they were all delicious. Staff was amazingly nice and helped us out with a smile. They really went above and beyond. Definitely a fan!

I usually stop in here if I am going hiking out in Lagunitas or visiting friends. I haven’t had much from the deli side but when it comes to things like drinks be it beer, water, soda, etc. and snacks like chips, candy, etc. it is a bit expensive. I understand that this is a country store and there is not much else around, but I am just being honest. Expect to pay a bit more. A bottle of water that may cost you $ 1 will probably cost you $ 2+. So not a huge difference but more expensive. Staff is friendly but since it is a small place it can sometimes take them a minute to get to you. And if you plan on sitting outside, get ready for a spandex party. Seems to be a road bike hot spot.

I would never have found this little roadside gem had I not had the luxury of dating a local. Sweet mother of god, the milk shakes – ahem«Creamy Dreamy Shakes”– are ridiculous. Usually a traditional chocolate or vanilla shake girl myself, we went off the beaten path and opted to share the coffee. It took a little bit for my friend behind the counter there to hand it over, but I imagine it took so long because he had to wait for the northern californian faeries(creatures, not gays) to churn this stuff up in the trunk of a redwood out back. A few seconds after the WHOOOZing of the blender stopped, we were presented twenty ounces of pure magic in a humble plastic cup. Not too thick, but far from runny, this smooth, cold, sweet treat was far surpassed my expectations of the offerings of a modest country store. I can’t speak for any other aspect of the store, I honeslty didn’t even look around while I was waiting for my shake because I was fascinated by all the photographs of chickens that were taped to the cash register. But, if you want to sip pure magic, check it out.

This is a real country deli and store. The food is great and you can find almost anything you need in a pinch from cat food to Crisco. We particularly love the roasted turkey available for sandwiches. There are many other homemade options available. Nice people too.

Deli food is good and prices reasonable, in the Deli. But, prices are really high on everything else, including sodas. It’s rare to see any prices posted and you will only see the total paid on your receipt, without any itemization. They charge an extra .50cents if your purchase is under $ 10 or you use a card. If they post this anywhere, it is hard to find. I became sick two or three times after eating some deli items. I think due to the items being left out too long or the refrigeration not at the temp it should be. Overall the deli food is good and many items are like home made. Some of their counter staff are not very friendly. You’re lucky to get a hello(and never a smile) even if they’ve waited on you many times and recognize you. But, the service is pretty quick.

Often where I’d end up for lunch when I was too lazy or busy to bring food to work. They do a decent job for being a small deli in the middle of West Marin. The friendly staff and the colorful locals dining outside make for an experience here. Hey, it’s the last place to stop before you get to Olema so enjoy.
