Went back here at 8 pm and the pizza was terrible. They were out of pepperoni and I got this weird pizza I can tell it has been sitting there all day. It was cold and tasted nasty and their was a working that kept waiting on us to leave like he kept coming back and forth seeing if I’m almost finished. I’m highly disappointed in this place and will never return. Congrats pizza a more u just lost a long time customer. Do not eat here it cold pizza, bad service, salads suck.

My girlfriend and I wanted some dinner. I was hungry and after finding out hometown buffet was closed, I Unilocaled this place. Excellent service, excellent food. Had a 16″ chicken Alfredo pizza(half taken home) breads sticks Amore pasta and some sodas. The bill was decent at around $ 35.

Delivered on time. Not the greatest Italian food but it’s good, considering the convenience.

First let me say that I love their pizza! It is always delicious, and it comes hot and fresh 95% of the time(we order it once a week for the last 3 years). Unfortunately, like every other restaurant, they have their off days. Let me clarify… once out of every 10 – 12 times, the pizza arrives only luke warm. Not a huge deal though, because their pizza reheats really nicely. 2nd, their other items are very hit or miss. We’ve had their pasta dishes(my fav is the chicken alfredo) when they are absolutely delicious, and other times when they are about as good as you’d expect from a microwave meal from the store. The one dish that jumps to mind, is the chicken strips. The first time I ordered them they were, and this is not an exaggeration, the best chicken strips I’ve ever had from a restaurant. Sadly, these are the most hit or miss item. I’d say 1 in 5 orders of these are great. The other 80% the chicken is either rubbery, soggy, or somehow both… the one note I should add, is that we have stopped even trying to order the chicken, so I can’t say if they’ve improved on this over the last 6 – 8 months. At any rate, if you are looking for a delicious pizza, or good wings this place will deliver a great meal 95% of the time. Definitely our favorite delivery in the area.

Great small business! Why go to a dominoes or pizza hut when you can have way better, cheaper, fresher, and more authentic pizza from these great guys. Definitely recommend if you are nearby looking for pizza

The pizza was ok, it’s almost like Costco’s and Sam’s club style pizza. Ny pizza slices, the dough is a little thiner and crust a little crispy. The Spaghetti wasn’t that great. The sauce tasted more like crushed tomatoes. Why not just buy the can of marinara sauce instead, people won’t be able to know the difference.

I went in last night to grab some pizza and soup for dinner. The pepperoni pizza was very good, reminiscent of NY style thin crust pizza. The broccoli and cheese soup was also really good; very flavorful. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be back soon to try the rest of the menu!

I really like the taste of the crust here and since NY pizza is my favorite this is one close by that I like. The topping were ok. I would suggest the owner have variations like spinach and ricotta and other NY toppings.

I started coming here because I worked in the area for awhile. I saw this little place and wanted to try their pizza. I was in heaven when I had my first slice for lunch!!! Big pieces with lots of toppings! After that I kept coming back! I tried a pasta salad too one time and it was delicious too :) The manager is very nice there. The place is always clean in and outside. Any topping pizza I order is always hot and delicious here! Their prices are very reasonable too. I wish I lived closer because Id come alot more often!

food is great dont get me wrong, i use to order delivery all the time. i really like their shrimp alfredo and calzone. still do. but i wouldnt recommend doing delivery anymore. 40 minute wait time was fine, it was what they told me. but a hour and a half is a little ridiculous when you are only 3 miles away.

Drove by this place a couple of times and always forgot about it afterwards. Tonight I decided to actually try the joint, even though I had a ice last night, and I’ll say this… not too shabby. I ordered their chicken Alfredo pizza, wings and mozzarella sticks. The sticks were ‘meh’ but the wings were good. The pizza was even better. I read some of the Unilocal reviews and was concerned about what I was going to get. My concern turned to surprise. Flavorful, somewhat savory. I’ll judge other Alfredo pizzas against this one. If I had one gripe to make… because nothing is perfect, is that I ordered the pizza 20 minutes before I showed up and it still took an additional 5 minutes. Oh, and the mozzarella sticks. But hey, if you go to a pizza place for pizza, judge them on the pizza. The sides are just a nicety. Long story short, will go back. I hope they keep this up.

To Susan G. on the first review. You are full of crap. You say your are Jewish? Well why the hell did you order Sausage knowing that it has pork in it? PORK! You know the laws about eating unclean meat. I dont eat pork either. You need to go back and give it another try and tell that little whinny kid to shut up and eat and be great full! This is the best place for pizza in the Laguna Woods area. So either eat the pork and shut up or quit your complaning. Go eat some lobster and crabs at King Fish. LOL.

This was one of the worst pizzas I have ever had. I needed a pizza place near Laguna Woods where we were visiting my mother in law who was hosting her Daughter and son in law from Israel-ultra orthodox. My family is culturally Jewish but nothing like that. So we had to bring our own food. I ordered a x-large pizza with red peppers, Italian sausage, onions, mushrooms; x-large pepperoni pizza. It came to $ 28 and change. We were in a hurry, and did not check the pizzas. Our mistake. They put green peppers which I hate on my pizza. My husband would eat the green, but not me. I called the place and told them, and was told“they are out of red peppers, so the stuck on green peppers”. I said I wanted them to deliver a pizzza with no peppers, Italian sausage, mushrooms and onions. He tells me it will be an hour for delivery. My son is the pepperoni maven. He said it was the 2nd worst pizza he ever had. We usually get Z pizza from Anaheim Hills. There were 2 pieces of pepperoni on a slice. How stingy can you get? As you know green pepper leaves a strong flavor, so even taking off the peppers kept that icky flavor. I did not enjoy it at all. How dare they substitute ingredients. What if someone was allergic. I went to this place because of the great reviews. I will never go again.

Amazing calzones, both coke and Pepsi products. 1 star off because it can be difficult to communicate with them at times.

I never write reviews on Unilocal, ever, but these guys are truly unbelievable. I had to cancel a pizza with them a few months ago because they told me the pizza would arrive in 30 – 45 minutes and I waited for an hour and a half! When I called to cancel, the guy who answered(think he might be the manager or owner) did not seem to care the least bit, and offered no alternative or remedy or even apologize — the epitome of unprofessional. Anyways, I decided to give them a second chance and surprise surprise they screwed up even worse. I called in a very simple order, and he said it would be 45 minutes. Ok. He called me back 15 minutes later to «confirm» my order and let me know again it would be 45 minutes! Hahaha I mean WOW. Obviously he wasn’t paying the least bit attention when I called in to place the order. These guys just can’t get anything right. They are incredibly unprofessional and can’t competently run a business. STAYAWAY.

Was craving pizza and this place showed up on Unilocal near where a girlfriend and I were costume shopping. Its a small shop in a strip mall with a few tables and Chairs so you can eat there. One tv in case a game is on but more of a grab and go pizza place. You can get pizza by the slice, whole pizzas, salads, calazones or even pasts dishes. I opted for a small pizza so I could have left overs. Went simple with pepperoni and got a soda. Came out to 12 bucks which is cheap as that pizza could easily feed 2. The pizza took about 10 – 15 minutes and came out hot and delicious. My friend got a calazone which was huge and she said was yummy. I think this is my New local pizza spot. Will definitely be back

Pizzeria Amore might make the best pizza in south OC. My hubby and I won’t get pizza anywhere else. The crust isn’t greasy, it’s always fresh(order it well done). The sauce is always just right. Our favorite is cheese. The margherita is pretty good, but not their best. I like the veggie pizza, too. Customer service is perfect as the guys making the pizza and working the register aren’t anything but friendly. Prices are very reasonable, too. Forget about the chains and try this little gem in Laguna Hills. It might become your local favorite, too!
