Located in Laguna Niguel, Skincare By Carrie is Inside Not Just Faces Medical Aesthetics. A full service Skin Care Office. A variety of skin care facials, microdermabrasion, rezenerate facials, oxygen facials, peels, and waxing are available. All services are customized to specific needs and wants of the guest.

History

Established in 2014.

I am a Licensed Esthetician and after receiving my license I worked at a Day Spa in Dana Point where I received great hands on experience and continued my training with classes through the Dermalogica IDI Institute, Osmosis level 1 and Level 2 classes. Attended classes with Skin Scripts, Eminence Organic, AQ Skin Solutions, and Revision Skincare Symposium. Earlier this year, I was chosen to take part in an FDA Case study for LED light therapy with great results seen by the 7 participants. I am a huge advocate for Light Therapy for the non-​invasive approach it gives the skin to heal at an accelerated rate while seeing a wonderful improvement in tone and texture of the skin. A must for those suffering with Acne.

I am a happily married to a great husband for the past 6 years. We are local to Dana Point and have called it home for the past 15 years. We have an adorable FurBaby; a cat named Addy who completes our family for the moment.

A little about me…“I Love What I DO” I love skincare and most of all helping others love their skin too. I specialize in all areas of the skin from Anti-​Aging to Acne Facial and now including Oncology Facials. I work with only Professional lines: Image Skincare, Osmosis Skincare, Skin Scripts, Revision, Neova to name a few. I focus every treatment towards the clients needs, customizing their facial treatment with specific exfoliation, masks, massage and targeted treatment enhancements. Being located inside Not Just Faces Medical Aesthetics my guests are offered the best in skin care services and products.

Just a follow up to my last review. Carrie has worked diligently over the past few months to get my skin on track and we’ve tried numerous remedies. Yesterday, she hit the nail on the head with her own concoction and I left there feeling amazing. I woke this morning with youthful, even skin and looking beautiful. Thats not something I’ve ever easily said of myself; so thank you Carrie for making me look and feel amazing!

I wish I could give Carrie 10-​stars because she’s just that great. My daughter has recently begun seeing her for those ever troublesome teenage skin issues, and Carrie has been warm, friendly, comforting and extremely, extremely knowledgeable about skin.
My daughters skin has improved tremendously and Carrie coaches her on her skin without making her feel self-​conscious. Finding Carrie was the best thing that happened for my daughter and her skin. THANK YOU CARRIE!

I was fortunate enough to receive an amazing facial yesterday from Skincare by Carrie! What an overall great experience. If you want to be completely relaxed and leave feeling like a noodle you will BUT, that is icing on the cake! This is a true clinical facial administered by a very skilled and trained aesthetician. Carrie knows her stuff! My skincare concerns were discussed in depth and my facial was based on those needs and concerns. I rebooked and can’t wait to go back. For the past couple of months I have had the pleasure of receiving treatments from Carrie. She is kind, gentle and knows her stuff! She listens and recommends realistic affordable solutions. I’ve had many facials over the years and my facial with Carrie was by far the best. I was pampered, treated, (not suffocated), and I honestly feel as though she is reducing the aging on my face and neck. The LED’s are easy breezy and WOW the difference they make. Carrie is amazing! She goes way beyond the regular spa style, where you only get «sold» to once your service is complete. She really CONSULTS with you about YOUR skin and what your looking achieve. She is so passionate about skin and how she can HELP you be healthy. I have had facials (targeted beauty treatments) in many different mid to high-​end spas – and I like to think that I have developed some pretty high expectations of good quality service; top-​of-​the-​line, healthy products; and affordability over the years.
And…CARRIE (of Skincare by Carrie) is my absolute favorite SKINCARE GURU!
She’s SMART! She doesn’t just plop concoctions and treatments on me from some pre-​defined skincare regimen; she analyzes MY skin and MY needs, researches, and educates me… works her magic like a scientist! A scientist with an incredibly CARING touch… ha! I always float out of her office feeling so much healthier.
I’m in between IPLs right now – and during my last appointment – she designed a treatment for me that contained her Oxygen facial and the LED panel thingy – and I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the results!

I’ve been a client of Carrie’s for almost a year now and can confidently say it was the best decision I have made for my skin! It changed from being dry, compacted, red and acne prone to clear, even-​toned and glowing.
Her thorough knowledge of skincare and products is evident. She tailors every facial for your skins current condition and only uses & recommends products that will benefit you most. You never get a cookie-​cutter service with harmful chemicals & that is not only reassuring, but is SO much better than a standard spa-​style facial. Carrie has also taught me how to maintain and adjust my own skincare routine!

I’ve been seeing Carrie monthly for the past 10 months! Thanks to her I was able to get through some really challenging skin issues and keep going back because of her attention to detail, knowledge and care. I love her location inside Not Just Faces Medical Aesthetics in Laguna Niguel even though it’s a drive from San Clemente… she’s worth it. And getting additional services like Botox or fillers is a total perk. I highly recommend seeing Carrie, you will make a friend for life.
