This park is very big, dog friendly. It has a magnificent view of the canyons and the ocean as well. Walk towards the interior of the park and you’ll start to see picnic tables. That’s when you’ll eventually see the Laguna Beach ocean view. Breathtaking! Hope this park stays a secret because it’s just so clean and great for hiking/walking your dog. More photos here:

This park is a combination short walking trail and park. There are some picnic tables and a drinking fountain but no bathrooms. Parking is on Talavera St. and there’s a short walk to a viewing platform. This park is all about the views and they are fabulous. It’s a great place to bring out of town guests of all ages since it’s a level walk.

G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S. So, the park itself might not be gorgeous, BUT, the views from here AND the trails(Aliso Summit) are lovely. Seaview Park itself is a nice place for a picnic — I think there’s three or four picnic tables scattered along the flat part of the trail /park area. After(or before) your picnic, walk the trail down to Thousand Steps Beach. You can probably make it down in about 30 minutes. Note that the trail is a bit steep in parts, so look into it before you set out.
