Everyone knows the job market is not in good shape right now, so you have to go to the pros to get hired. I had 2 friends who were fresh out of law school with some decent experience and a desire to get hired at a top firm. I ran into one of Rifkin Consulting’s postings online and thought it sounded like a great place to refer my friends. Out of curiosity I tagged along when my buddy Mark went to meet with the recruiters.
I have to say they were great. The owner, Diane, was very nice and very focused on my friend’s legal goals. Mental note: if all recruiters are like this, hire a recruiter in my job field. All in all, from what I experienced, she took the time to find out what he wanted in his career and she took the time to mentor my friend all the way through the hiring process. He’s now happily employed as an attorney thanks to this place. And I think he owes me dinner for finding them!
