Pure Indulgence Skin Rejuvenation

Gigi is a good person. I get laser here because I have some impossibly temperamental skin. In reality, if you get the packages of laser, it’s about the same as a facial. Facials feel good but are pretty anticlimactic. Lasers by no means have CURED anything for me but if you are consistent and don’t harass your face with a barrage of chemicals or eat hormones in your food, I think Gigi can help you glow again. I have been places where they upsell you or they say weird stuff to you while you sit there, makeupless haha but Gigi is just making girl talk going about her business and doing what you ask. If you need advice, she’ll give it and if you don’t ask, she doesn’t bug you. Always a cool front desk lady, mellow environment. no harsh lighting. :)

Gigi is absolutely the best in the area! You have to be careful with facial treatments because there are a lot of people who don’t know what they are doing. I can testify to that! Gigi was recommended several years ago and she is absolutely fantastic! My skin has never looked better! Great treatments and caring staff!

The office staff is warm and welcoming. The facility appears clean and nicely decorated. Gigi, the owner, does an amazing job! I was thrilled with my results. She is very kind and professional. Overall, my two experiences at Pure Indulgence were outstanding! I am definitely going back!

I was both nervous and excited to try the IPL treatment at Pure Indulgence. I found making an appointment easy and pleasant. Gigi took the time to explain the procedure to me and what to expect post treatment. The IPL is mildly uncomfortable and certain areas of my face were more sensitive than others but Gigi went slowly and used ice to help soothe my face.
When I was done there was a little bit of redness to my face but it was gone within the hour. Gigi had mentioned it might feel like a mild sunburn but even that lasted less than an hour. I’m excited to see the results in the next couple of days and would recommend Pure Indulgence for anyone wanting to take their skin care up a notch.

Very unprofessional. My experience was so bad. Not just terrible service but also Gigi’s IPL left permanent discoloration on my face.

Irene is no longer at this location and I haven’t tried any of their other services. However, everyone I came into contact with at Pure Indulgence were very nice so they definitely get a solid 3 stars

I recently visited Athena Day Spa in Laguna Beach and had an excellent experience so when my esthetician recommended «Gigi» to me I was overjoyed and immediately scheduled an appointment.
I arrived 15 minutes early and was given several sheets of paper to complete. There were three chairs in the waiting area of which one is a green, velour type covered in filth! It appears as though someone perspired all over it! Kind of a foamy, dry looking mess.
You must know this, the walls are paper thin so I was able to hear to ladies (guessing one was a client) chatting only to see a staff person, Theresa, exit the room asking who wanted what from the deli — Gigi yelled her order from the same room, hence, no client…
Theresa returned, hands full, then directed me into the same room where I waited for an additional 7 minutes all the while listening to Theresa and the receptionist going on and on, while «Gigi» was on her cell speaking to who I believe was her child. She concluded the call then entered the room licking her fingertips and smacking her lips.
You can probable guess the rest from there… just glad I didn’t pay any money :-)

Been going here for a few years now. Gigi is very nice and good at her job. I get botox for my headaches every 4 months and laser hair removal on my legs. As for the laser hair removal comments people saying hers doesn’t work on here. Thats bs people. I have had laser hair removal at other places and its a slow process for many people no matter where you go. My aunt went to one in arizona 3 times and her hair is gone. I went to the same one and my hair was still there. Some people just take longer! Also at the other place I went to they wouldnt do the 2 hairs below my belly button just above my bikini line saying it was a different area and I would need another package for those 2 hairs. Gigi has done them for me not charging for another whole package for the 2 hairs. Gigi is great at her job.

I had similar experiences to the other poor reviews of Pure Indulgence. They didn’t have me down for an appointment twice, and even when they had my appointment down, I experienced long waits for seemingly no reason, When I’d get there I most often had to wait while Gigi was either out getting lunch or chatting with people in the lobby.
I was always discouraged to use the numbing cream and told the ice worked better. Not true, ice is cheaper for them, not better. When I did get the numbing cream, sometimes it worked like a charm and sometimes I’m sure it was diluted and the numb areas were not everywhere they needed to be. One time, I waited in the numbing room for an hour before I came out only to find they had forgotten I was there.
Gigi also always forgot what laser settings she used and what areas I was having treated so it was up to me to remind her. The first two of my treatments was completely ineffective because she wasn’t using the correct laser but I still had to pay for them. I kept holding out hope that it would work after the next treatment, but I would say that I still had about 80% of the hair that was supposed to be removed after we were all finished. It never got to the point that I didn’t have to shave regularly, even after 10 treatments, and now you can’t even tell anything was done at all.
Definitely not worth the money, time, effort, and discomfort.

I have lived in many cities in the US and as well as in Europe and have been doing spa treatments for many years. I live back east and have been doing botox and fillers for my lips. I liked my place out there but heard about Gigi from some friends so decided to give her a try. Wonderful experience. GIG does so many of these procedures that she really knows the best way to give you the most lift without everyone knowing you got work done. I want people to think I got my hair cut not my lips filled out
I had both procedures done and loved the results so I am planning on making another trip for a fraxel. Made the appointment and immediately received an email explaining the procedure and what time to arrive to be numbed. The price is VERY reasonable especially for Orange County where there is a nurse with a botox needle on every corner. Loved the office staff too… such a happy place.

I recently moved and needed a new facial/​laser/​all around beauty med spa and am happy I found pure indulgence. I was spoiled by my last place and I would have to say that Pure indulgence gets pretty darn close to treating me as well. I really like the two women who have done the services on me and actually joined their monthly club. Like that they offer so many things in one place so I dont have to drive around the whole county. Still miss my old facialist Jen but I am glad that I found this place =)

Ok, I let my disappointment simmer down a bit before writing this. Most of the time when I think to Unilocal,its for positive things! This one is sadly not one of those.
I went in for laser hair removal in the bikini area. So 6 sessions of torture and having a stranger zap away in your most private areas. The first time I go in, Gigi (the owner) doesn’t even introduce herself, just tells me to lay down and says «oh don’t worry, I used to be an OB/​gyn nurse so I’m used to looking down there.» COMO WHAT? Did not make me feel comfortable.
2^nd visit:
Gigi comes in 25 minutes late with a Diet Coke in her hand and says «ok so this is your 3^rd visit, how are the ingrown hairs doing?» To which I reply: «This is only my second visit, and I don’t have get ingrown hairs.» Gigi: «No, it says its your 3^rd visit and you complained about ingrown hairs.» Me: «Well I’m positive neither of those are right. Are you sure you have the right chart?» Gigi: «Of course, you were here in August and September and so this is your 3^rd visit.» Me: «I still think you have the wrong chart, I was only here once in September. My name is _​_​_​_​_​». Gigi: «Oh, those front desk girls got it wrong again!» Really? Claiming your client is wrong about how many times she’s been there? Double check the chart name next time.
After this, she had the audacity to already tell me I should buy the $ 100 «clean up» package. Really?
3^rd visit:
Waited for 45 minutes before Gigi came in. Was no longer numb then. Ow. What was I waiting for in the meantime? Oh I don’t know, Gigi was walking around complaining about her salad and how it wasn’t done right. And then gossiping with people at the lobby. You can hear everything in those thin walls. After the visit she again tells me I should buy the clean up package because apparently she isn’t doing a good enough job on the first sessions. (Note: she was right! I still need more sessions)
4^th-​6^th visits: the same old song and dance. And now I’ll have to go somewhere else for about 2 more sessions because she didn’t even do a good job.
Nit-​picky things:
–Its a health facility, Gigi should not be bringing food/​beverage into the treatment rooms.
–If you know your patient/​customer is waiting with ice on her special area, at least put her back in a room to do it. I was left in the front room for 45 minutes one time with a bag of melting ice leaking all over my groin.
–Train the front desk, the girl up there kept saying she didn’t know what she was doing.
–Get your patients/​customers right.
–Bedside matter is a must.
Overall: would NOT go here. With all of the spa choices in orange county you can do better!

Day 1 of laser hair removal:
1. Arrived 15 prior to appt time (to fill out paperwork) Waited 30 min before I was ask if i needed to numb. (my first time, as if i knew? shouldnt there be a brief consultation or procedure explanation first?)
2. Numbed for 30 min (didnt even instruct me on the numbing process NOR the duration). Saw Gigi for the 5 min procedure.
No consultation, no explanations, nothing. Just a «Hi. Living Social, right?» and went straight to work.
Awkward.
Day 2:
1. Upon arrival, my appt to them was non-​existent.
2. Waited 30 min before going in to numb.
3. Numbing block was barely cold, let alone frozen! After 1hr and 15 min (ice pack was now room temp) I had to walk outside to find out what was taking so long, turns out receptionist left for lunch and forgot about me! Luckily Gigi saw me and worked on me right away. She asked again, «Living Social, right?» and got to work.
Procedure was VERY painful. I wonder why. As I was screaming, she just said, «I know, I know» and kept on going. No breather. I wanted to. nvm.
Day 3:
1. I came early (my own idea) so I could numb early and be finished earlier to beat traffic (i live an hr & 15 away)
2. Gigi asked if this was my first session. WOW. enough said.
3. A LOT less painful this time around.
Day 4:
1. Got in to numb after only waiting 5 min but numbed for an hr and 15 min! WTHeck?!
2. Afterwards, Gigi left me on her bed EXPOSED while she opened the door (without informing me) cuz she forgot something in another room. OMG, seriously?
3. She comes back in and the first thing she says is, «You’ve missed me, hoh?» I said nothing. She goes on, «Yeah I know, I have that effect on people.» Seriously, what is she smoking? We’ve never even had a real conversation before! Must be the botox?
Day 5: She actually remembers me.
Day 6: I didnt even bother to go this time. Why? They f’d up on my appt time. Seriously, I’m over it.
Update on results? After 5 sessions and I’m only 65% hairless on my serviced area.

This place is absolutely amazing.
I get laser hair removal on my bikini area and although it’s not the most pleasant process, I always leave with a smile on my face. Gigi, the owner is the one that preforms the procedure and is very understanding and patient.
When I arrive I am directed to a waiting room where I am allowed to ice the area for about 30 minutes. The room is very comfortable and last time I was there they installed flat screen TV’s and put on one of my favorite movies. Although some places use topical numbing ointment the ice is SO much better for numbing the area. Once I get into the main room Gigi is very gentle and lets me take breaks if I need them. I have had three treatments and I’m already seeing great results. Last time I was there I could hardly feel the laser.
The staff is very personable and friendly, I definitely recommend this place!

I went into this office for laser hair removal. Before I went in the lady on the phone said she’d email me some pre-​appointment instructions and information since I had never had laser hair removal done. I never received it so the day before my appointment I called in and asked if they could send it to me again. This time the girl said she had no idea what information I was talking about, but that she would ask the other front desk girl and have it sent to me. Needless to say, I never received anything in my email. Not a big deal, but still.
So then I go to the office, which is ok. Looks much nicer on the website than it did in person. Not dirty, just not «spa-​like» really.
I go in for my procedure, they say I have to wait 5 minutes because Gigi is on a bathroom break. Just then, Gigi walks by chatting away on the phone and does this back hand wave thing to tell me to get up on the table. Kind of rude. Then she walks in and doesn’t even introduce herself or give me any details about the procedure. She just seemed semi-​unprofessional. At the end of the procedure she told me to get dressed and she’d meet me up at the front desk, which she never did. The actual procedure was quick and (almost) painless, although I had a lot of hair regrowth just 2 days after. I have 5 more sessions with her to get all of the hair removed, so obviously I will be going back. Just not super impressed with the office, the staff, the service, or the (lack of) professionalism. Its not awful, just not great.

Love love love this place! Highly recommended to everyone. My experience was a complete pleasurable one. Gigi — Bridgett Goddard– who is also the owner, was the one who did my procedure. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and thourough. I was surprised at the one poor review and not sure why she felt the way she did. The receptionist was very nice and efficient. She is very good with follow-​ups and very pleasant with me everytime I was there.
I am extremely happy with the results and will recommend this to all my friends. I know they have some celebrities that come all the way to see Gigi and get pretty here. So I will let you decide. Me, I think this place rocks!
The place is very tastefully decorated and very well kept up. It is easy to find, easy to park and just overall very pleasant.
So there, 5 stars for Pure Indulgence!

I actually really enjoyed my experience here. I’m kind of sad to see some of the other reviews. I’ve only gotten botox done, so I haven’t experienced any of the other treatments. But I loved it! Gigi was the person who administered it, and I thought she was very thorough in answering all my questions and concerns. The Botox turned out great, so I will definitely be going back!

I hear that the Botox treatments are well administered and affordable. But it wasn’t me that was treated! Really!
