History

Established in 2008.

Premier Pool Service was established here in Orange County in 2008 and Incorporated in 2012. Marcus Osburn, Owner and Operator, originally started cleaning and repairing pools in Palm Springs, CA in 1987. He owned and operated his own pool service business for 15 years before selling and relocating here to Orange County to pursue a different line of work. Unfortunately, when the economy declined he lost his job and went back to work doing what he knew so well, Pool & Spa Maintenance and Repair!

I am a 2nd generation pool business owner. I started cleaning pools at age 16 within my father’s business in Palm Springs, CA. I branched off on my own at 18 when I got married. I not only serviced and repaired pool and spas while in the desert, but also delved into construction when I began plumbing and running electrical on new pools and remodels. I chose to move to Orange County to pursue an Environmental line of work with my best friend, but when the economy declined, I was let go. I decided to stay in Orange County and make a go of pool service and am grateful to be cleaning and repairing pools here in this climate!

Marcus Osburn has performed any needed repairs to our pool over the past ten years, and we have enjoyed a problem-​free relationship with him, largely due to his thoughtful and attentive approach toward any needed repairs. I say «needed», because Marcus does not push to sell unnecessary repairs, but instead recommends a course of action which allows us to decide on the best alternative. In this manner, we can weigh the cost/​benefit of doing the repairs now or waiting until sometime in the future. In addition, we have found his service to be prompt, courteous and reasonably priced. He has pride in what he does and he does not take short cuts, because he is mindful of maintaining our business over the long term.

We had some problems w/​our pool lacking optimize water pressure coming from the pool pump. When Marcus came out to see the problem, he started to troubleshoot– finding out we had a broken impellar. Besides repairing our leaks and replacing the pool pump, Marcus was very professional, courteous, and fair in pricing out the the job at task. He really took the time to explain how things worked and what needed to be done to get our pool up to par. His expertise really made our pool more energy effecient and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Marcus and will use him for future mainteance on my pool!

Marcus knows his stuff. He’s a TECHNICIAN who services our pool and not someone who just cleans it and looks after the chemical requirements. Besides being so very knowledgeable, he’s reliable, courteous, honest and his rates are reasonable. I feel like I never have to worry about my pool anymore, and the pool water has never been this clear (compared to the last pool service we had for a long time!). We’ve had several different pool maintenance services in the past. Each time, they started out pretty good but in the end they didn’t maintain the level of service, leading to some expensive repairs down the line. We got a personal recommendation for Marcus and decided to switch. He keeps on top of all aspects of our pool maintenance and provides excellent service. He is very knowledgeable about the new digital control systems, etc. Highly recommend!

Premier Pool Service was the third pool service company I used when I moved to RSM. Thankfully, it will be my last.
Within the first month of service Marcus found the leak that my prior companies told me I didn’t have. Fixed the auto fill system, that hadn’t work in months. Removed a rat that was in my pool heater system that I couldn’t get rid of all while keeping my pool clean and the water balanced.
Marcus charges the market fee and doesn’t charge for small fixes and adjustments. His repair costs are very reasonable and he will guarantee his work.
Premier Pool offers great service and I highly recommend the company.
