Can’t say enough good things about this place! Brian helped my (now) fiancé with the most BEAUTIFUL engagement ring I’ve ever seen! All the staff was genuinely happy for him and for me after he proposed. Shop is clean and well presented. Good parking here and food next door which makes it easy and convenient to go to. They clean my ring for free whenever I want. I go in once a week to get it cleaned and they are always smiling and welcoming when I go in. All of their jewelry is gorgeous, and my fiancé has already found me earrings and a necklace for next time! Danny is also very knowledgeable and friendly! :)

Was told at another jewelry store that it would cost me $ 35 to replace the battery in my watch. Went to Nuggets and Carats…$ 5!!! Did it while I waited, cleaned both my diamond rings and was happy to look around their beautiful store. Need jewelry??? Shop here!!!

Nuggets and Carats has gorgeous jewelry. I have only purchased a couple smaller pieces of jewelry and had some design work done on exisiting pieces of jewelry. Mostly many watch batteries have been replaced and charms attached over the years however I have always been treated with respect as if I was purchasing a million dollar ring that day, though I was only spending $ 5 on a watch battery. Brain recently helped with a brief consult on my dtr engagement ring for a second opinion. I will always shop here. I will always refer my friends. Where else can you get «old fashion service like this «!

Brian and the team at Nuggets & Carats are wonderful! My fiancé and I spend time in the jewelry district in Downtown LA and were disappointed with the jewelers there. We were recommended to go see Brian and we were not disappointed! He was very patient with us and made us the exact engagement/​wedding band rings we wanted. I was able to work with him to design the rings myself and am very happy with the way they turned out. Despite the large number of people in the shop he made us feel like we were the only ones and did not rush to get us out of there. He is friendly and makes time to build relationships with his customers. We will continue to see Brian with any other jewelry needs and will continue to recommend him to others.

We found N&C 25 years ago when we were first married. Brian (the owner) was fantastic then, and my wife wore the beautiful simple platinum solitaire wedding set he made for us with pride. As we recently celebrated our silver anniversary (25^th!) we returned to Brian to craft something new for us (he looks great after 25 years btw!) Over the course of several days and several visits, he spent an enormous amount of time with us, helping us find just what we wanted. More than just showing us catalogue photos, he shared his considerable experience and expertise in bringing to life the dream my wife had of a certain look and feel in her wedding set. I can honestly say that she is thrilled, no, make that ecstatic with the results! And I have to admit, it’s the most beautiful, classic, elegant setting I’ve ever seen. Exactly what we were looking for! Brian also took the time to help me decide which platinum band I wanted (I didn’t really know, other than changing from gold to plat, and a little less bulky — I like the basics.) I’m also thrilled with my new look. As simple as it is, it compliments her timeless «estate ring» perfectly.
I know this sounds a little too good to be true, but this is legit, and Brian and his whole team are the real deal — they’re the best there is. Period. My wife and I trust him completely with all of our jewelry needs — especially with one so important as our 25^th anniversary wedding set! Thank you Brian, and everyone at Nuggets and Carats!

My friend had recommended me seeing Brian and his Jewelry store Nuggets and Carats. I am so glad I met such a knowledgeable expert with years of experience in the industry.
I came here to buy an engagement ring for my soon to be fiancée and Brian was able to help me design the ring. We started off finding a really beautiful pear shaped diamond that was so perfect for our halo design and cross/​twisted band design. He was able to explain everything there was to owning a diamond ring including the certificates and insurance.
This was my first time buying a custom piece of jewelry and the experience was by far amazing! Brian was punctual with his dates and follow ups. He had 3D computer designs of the ring and after my confirmation it was made and ready to pick up a week later. Very quick, and the quality was impeccable.
After proposing to my fiancée, she is always stopped and asked about her beautiful ring. Those kind of comments make me really happy, because I know with 100% confidence that Brian and his team did an amazing job.

I have been going to Brian/​Nuggets and Carats for several years! 90% of what I own Brian and his team have made for me. There is no other jeweler that I go to. The craftmanship is stunning, the work is exceptional and it is all done with a smile and alot of patience. I am looking forward to picking up my next new fun piece.

Needed a unique engagement ring and wanted to get it from someone local. Wandered in here one day green behind the ears with the vaguest sense of what I wanted the ring to look like. The owner, Brian, came out and helped me along step by step with the patience of a saint, until we finally worked out a solid idea of what the ring should look like.
I came back two weeks later and was completely blown away! Not only had they made something that was absolutely incredible to look at, but it cost far less than I had anticipated. I will definitely be coming back for any purchases/​repairs I may need in the future!

My fiancé and I went to about ten different jewelers from San Diego to LA when we were shopping for a wedding band and new setting for her engagement ring. She was very particular about what she wanted and I was very particular about the price I had set. Brian took the time to sit down and listen to exactly what my fiancé wanted and gave us a fair price. I saved hundreds of dollars shopping at Nuggets & Carats and felt the quality and attention to detail far exceeded my expectations. I would recommend them to anyone who is serious about buying.

I wanted new companion rings to go with my wedding ring, but my guy is way up in the Valley and I wanted to find someone local. So, I asked around and finally bit the bullet on Nuggets & Carats, which was a recommendation from my trusted friend Jennifer S. Needless to say, leaving your ring, trusting you’ll get quality diamonds back and not get ripped off is a big concern. Jewelers are kind of like mechanics, you want to find one you can trust.
I went in and talked to Brian, the owner. He was super nice and very helpful, and told me he’s been in business for 22 years. We went through designs together and he made recommendations, even drawing some things out for me. When we decided on a style, I thought I might want the diamonds to be a tad bigger, but he talked me out of it. Seriously. He said it wouldn’t look as good. It was at that time I thought this guy must be OK if he had a chance to up-​sell and didn’t.
Also, while I was there two long-​term customers came in and handed him over quite a bit of money for their jewelry and said they’d be back again. It was all very family-​like.
I handed over the ring, got my receipt and he told me it’d be 7 – 10 days for my new rings to be done. On day 10, I called and they said it would be five more days. This was the only downside. But, lo and behold, they called on day four and said it was done.
It turned out beautifully. He was absolutely right about the size of the diamonds. Now that I know they look good together, I’m going to return and get them soldered together.
I feel very confident in the job they did and the customer service was very good, despite the few extra days it took.
I will definitely be going back.
