Not Just Faces Medical Aesthetics

I have been seeing Lita since 2011 and have been thrilled with the results of my Dysport treatments. I just hand my face over to her and trust that she will take care of me. I completely trust her expertise and skill and I have never been disappointed. I have had Botox injected by my Dermatologist that yielded terrible results. Lita is hands down the best! I hope she never retires!

I have been receiving Dysport from Lita for a year now and I cannot express how happy I have been with the results. She is very professional and extremely knowledgeable. I found the treatments to be pain free and have had long lasting results. I guess some would say, «She has the magic touch!» Sure, there are bargain places out there if you want to skimp on treatments; but if you want the best of the best, «Not Just Faces Medical Aesthetics» is the place to go!

This was my experience with this business — which I would give zero stars to if I could.
Before going to see Lita, I spoke to both her and the Medical Director by phone to review my history and to discuss how and why I receive Botox in a particular way. Over the last 4 years I have experienced droopy eye-​lids, eye-​brows that rise to the middle of my forehead, and strained facial movements. I am now in a place where I know what works to avoid problems because there is no one-​size-​fits-​all with this type of treatment.
When I was sure that we (me, Lita & the Medical Director) were all on the same page, I came in to see Lita. She was about as un-​welcoming as one could get and I was puzzled by her behavior from the start. As per our initial conversation, I told her where and how much Botox I needed — it’s not that unusual really. I have many friends who do the same to avoid disastrous results.
However, even though Lita told me on the phone she understood, when it came down to it, she wasn’t on-​board at all. I was under the impression that all medical professionals pay close attention to a patients history so they can proceed accordingly, but Lita was noticeably annoyed during the entire treatment and as a result, the units she gave me were improperly placed.
Next was payment. Lita quoted me one price on the phone (which is also listed on the website) but it had suddenly gone up. When I brought this to her attention she snapped at me about having the lowest prices around (not true). When you quote one thing on the phone and have it on your site, then you ask for something higher — it’s dishonest.
Last part of the visit. I had asked Lita if she had the Brilliant Distinctions program during our initial conversation on the phone. She said she did, however, when I asked her to apply a BD credit, she immediately objected, giving me a number of reasons why she couldn’t do it — none of which were accurate — I’ve had the account for 3 years so I know how it works. She finally honored it, but not without an argument.
Well, I must be a glutton for punishment because I scheduled a follow-​up visit. In all honesty, I thought perhaps Lita was having a really, really bad day and decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. Boy, was I wrong. When I entered the office, she turned her back on me (no greeting), walked into her office and called to me from the other room that I could come in. In the past, at other places, I have been politely escorted into the treatment room after a warm welcome. At this point I realize that Lita was not having a bad day during my initial visit — this is just who she is. When I confront her about her horrific behavior, she confesses that she doesn’t like being told how to do her job.
So Lita’s need to be in control out-​weighed her patients history and needs, and as a result, I did not get the desired outcome, ending up with strained facial movement and a visible lump that was not there before her treatment
Later I spoke to the Medical Director about my experience. He was very apologetic and shared with me (among a bevy of explanations for Lita’s behavior) that she is having some personal issues. Sorry, but no excuse. Everyone has something going on in their life but that doesn’t give any one of us license to dump on another.
Lita certainly wasn’t obligated to like me, but she did have to be respectful and do what was in the best interest of her patient — or — decline to see me. She failed miserably as a so-​called professional. And quite frankly, if she is having issues that invoke rude, dishonest conduct, I don’t want her poking me with a needle anyway — ever.
This was my experience with Lita at Not just Faces. Had I had any inkling that this woman’s behavior would be this offensive, or that there was such anger lurking just beneath the surface, I would gladly have gone elsewhere.
response to Lita’s comment… there was NO miscommunication. I made my concerns and needs crystal clear before ever stepping foot into the office and was told by Lita and Dr. Levine that I would (understandably) be accommodated. What I got though was a complete absence of professionalism, honesty, and ethics.

«Lita is simply «The Best» With her high level of integrity, extraordinary skills and knowledge, she is in a leauge all her own. In an industry full of coupons, false promises, technicans and doctors who miss the extra touch and care she offers, I say don’t go to second or third best. Go to the Master. I have been her client for fifteen years, and will continue one very happy, loyal and youthful looking client.

Lita does amazing work. I had a horrible experience with a laser treatment and I was so nervous to do my first filler
. Lita made sure I was comfortable the procedure was all but painless and I’m so happy with the results. My lip injections with restelyne silk look amazing and so natural — the small jowls at my chin line disappeared with restelyne Lyft! I plan to age gracefully with Lita.

Lita is amazing. I have been going to see her regularly for all of my skincare needs for the past few years. She is knowledgeable, compassionate and really, really good at what she does!
Her professionalism comes through in every discussion about my skin and my goals. I have done laser hair removal, fraxel for my c-​section scar (which you can barely see after 3 treatments), dysport, microderm and peels.
I don’t like wearing make up so my skin is very important to me. The skin care regimen she wrote out for me has kept me looking my best between appointments.

So I asked my Pilates teacher what happened? she said everyone goes to Lita at the Laguna Niguel Town Center.
She does a great job and her injectables are reasonable. Can’t wait she has had 29 years of experience

My first visit consisted of injections of Dysport. Lita is professional and I am happy with the results. I plan to see more of her.

I love this place. I have followed Lita for many years now. She is amazing !!! She makes sure, when you are getting a treatment that you are not in any pain and is so caring, and gentle. Most of the procedures have little to no down time.
She does the best fillers, especially lips. … So natural looking.
I will be aging gracefully with Lita and I am so grateful for her knowledge and experience. She is renown in her field.

Lita has been my medical esthetician for the past 4 years. She is so professional and is truly an artist when it comes to her trade. She did Dysport, and Juvaderm injections that were painless and the results were wonderful. I’ve had several different procedures done by her ranging from microdermabrasion to lip injections and I’ve always left happy! I’ve recommended Lita to several of my friends and clients and she has gone above and beyond taking excellent care of them. She’s amazing.
