I have been going to Dr. Huefner for years. His staff is great and office is friendly. I had cosmetic veneers done with him years ago and have been very happy with the results. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a regular dentist and/​or cosmetic dentist.

All my experiences have been great. The staff is always friendly. They never keep me waiting. Cleanings are always thorough and professionally. And when I did have to get a cavity done, and sadly a crown, the procedure was painless. I have been to multiple dentists where this wasn’t the case so I am very thankful. Overall the times I have been are what a visit to a dentist should be like. Very recommended.

Let me say that I have no time for poor dentistry. I look for the best and only accept the best. That is why I wanted to recommend Dr. Huefner and his entire team. They do great work from general dentistry to beautiful cosmetic work. My entire family has been seeing Dr. Huefner since we moved to California 13 years ago. Catherine is also a great hygienist. If you are looking for a caring qualified dental team, look no further.

Dr. Huefner has been my dentist since I was a little girl and he is awesome! He did an excellent job making my two front teeth look real again after they shattered when I was a kid. In high school he did my Invisalign and now my teeth are as straight as can be. Also, his dental hygienist, Catherine, is even more amazing. She’s been my hygienist for over two decades and I’ve never had one complaint. She’s always very friendly and somehow manages to do an impeccable job cleaning my teeth while still being very gentle. I highly recommend this dental office for anyone looking for a friendly staff who knows how to deliver great results!

Dr. Huefner and the rest of his team at Sensational Smiles are truly the best. Trust me… I would know… I’ve been to multiple other cosmetic dentists in the Orange County area to fix my teeth and the work that they have done for me is by far the best! An accident I had in my 20s left me with shattered and missing front teeth. I had substantial bone and gum loss, so much so that I was no longer a candidate for implants. My only option was to have a bridge. Three other cosmetic dentists tried their best to give me a natural looking bridge, but I always ended up with a yellowish, opaque bridge that looked like something my Great Grandmother might have. Each one was slightly better than the last, but only Dr. Huefner was able to offer me a bridge that was not only white and translucent but (dare I say it) better than my natural teeth before the accident. I am always treated like family when I go for a follow up. Cathy, Dr. Huefner’s assistant, goes above and beyond to make sure I’m comfortable, informed about my procedures and satisfied with my care. Pam at the front desk works diligently to stay on top of my Insurance to make sure I am covered for whatever I am eligible for, and of course Dr. Huefner and the skilled people at his lab are artists. I now live an hour away from Orange County, but I still drive to Dr. Huefner for my cosmetic dentistry because I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my smile.

Dr. Huefner initially does very nice work, but doesn’t necessarily stand behind it if there is a problem later. Expect to pay premium prices. 100% payment up front even if you have dental insurance.

Let’s face it, looking for and finding the perfect dentist, is akin to looking for and finding the perfect hamburger. Lol, when you find it, you know you’ll be back. My husband and I have been to, and been treated by, a number of dentists over the years. Our experience here was top-​notch. Let’s face it, no one ever wants to go, but when you have to this is a great place to be. The hygienist is really great for your twice yearly cleanings. Efficient and really nice. And, if you have to get «real» work done like a filling or crown, you will be pleased with the experience as well as the outcome. This is the first time ever I have not felt the injection (at all!). Dr. Huefner takes his time and goes very slowly, which is key to a pain-​free experience. All in all, if you are looking for a positive dental experience, which isn’t easy to find, this is the place to be.

What I great place this is! The staff is amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, and this is the first time I truly don’t hate going to the dentist. I was missing two of my teeth right next to my two front teeth, which gave me a huge gap when I smiled. While growing up I had caps on them, but they were just 4 caps that made my teeth look huge. Dr. Huefner gave me an entire new smile. Instead of having 4 large caps over my teeth he some how made it look like I have all of my teeth. I don’t know how he did it, but the transformation was absolutely amazing! No matter where I go or who I see I get complements on my amazing smile, and I can’t tell you how happy that makes me.
Dr. Huefner is always willing and able to answer any questions and explain what needs to be done! He has changed my entire life with my new smile and I am so confident and happy now! I never thought my smile could look like this from missing two teeth, he is a magic worker. If I could give 10 stars I would and I refer everybody to him! Highly recommend Dr. Huefner and his entire staff!

After lifetime of thinking that dentistry is a necessary evil I have finally discovered a perfect dentist office, with amazing staff, extraordinary dentist and all around wonderful care. Dr. Huefner is an acclaimed general and cosmetic dentist with unparalleled artistic approach, experience and great bedside manner.
The office offers a wonderful dental hygiene program, with frequent follow ups and provides a comprehensive care.
I would not let any other dentist touch my smile.

Typical dentist billing shenanigans. I gave them 2 stars because the work they did on me was pretty good, so I can’t fault them there, but the money-​grubbing administrative approach they have is pretty unacceptable and I don’t go to them anymore. Too often they sent me bills that didn’t reflect that my insurance had paid them already, and they would send nasty follow up letters unless I called to complain and inform them that I knew my insurance had paid them, thanks to the statement my dental insurance would send me, so the amount they were badgering me for was bogus. It wasn’t that they didn’t know to bill the insurance, because the insurance received claims they filed and paid them. They just always sent me a bill asking for the full price of the procedure as well. I feel they do this just to see if I’ll pay the full amount they ask for, in an attempt to be paid twice over. I’m sick of the hassle they put me through every time.
Another trick that lost my trust in them, one time my hygienist did a procedure that seemed covered to me because she did it without asking me if I wanted to pay for it or not, and didn’t bill me for it so it seemed to be included in the overall treatment I was getting. Then several months later when I had a regular cleaning, she asked if I wanted it done again, warning me that it was optional so I would be billed. I figured, what the hell I’ll do it if its good for me. I paid for it in the office the same day. Then I get a bill mailed to my house billing me for that first procedure done months before. They waived the fee when I called and told them they didn’t ask my permission to do that procedure the first time, but I’ve had enough. Watch your wallet whenever you go in there, at this point they’re liable to steal the cash out of it if your back is turned.
