Forbes Deli

This place rules! Convenient location, awesome eats, friendly owners, and the Turkey club so good! I highly recommend eating here at least once.

Came into the plaza to drop off my bike at the shop. Came in here for lunch.
BBQ Beef sandwich was tender, juicy, and flavorful. Not too much sauce and the bread was fresh. Also had a slice of provolone. Nice surprise. Added lettuce and avocado to it and man, it was good.
Forbes Special Burger was good. Double with Cheese with Bacon and Avocado. All the produce was fresh and the bacon was crisp. Patties were a bit over cooked but that’s my fault for not specifying. Bread was soft.
Fries which came with the combo were good. Hot and crispy but soft on the inside.
Order took a while to come out but that’s because everything is cooked fresh. I’ll happily wait for that.
Fun little ice cream fridge to pick from and a variety of snacks and chips.
Clean little deli with only a few tables but it’s a nicely kept place.
I’m looking forward to coming back tomorrow when I pick up my bike. Hell, I’d even come down here for lunch.
Sure it’s my first time and sure we’ve only had a limited sampling from the menu, but as of now, I’m impressed.

I go here because it’s in walking distance of my work and it’s perfect for when I don’t feel like driving away.
I’ve had a Turkey wrap with honey mustard and it was good, no complaints… The next time and I has a cheeseburger and fries. I’ve had a lot better burgers and fries. Cheese wasn’t melted all the way and the fries were WAY UNDER COOKED.
Though this place has other options I think sticking to deli sandwich and such are the best bet.

I work with in walking distance to the Forbes Deli and was very excited when I found out there was a place so close. The first time I tried it ordered the chicken burrito. It looked amazing when I opened the «to-​go» box after getting back to my office. Unfortunately the chicken tasted very old and did not smell good at all. I pulled all the chicken out and ate the chips with the rice from the burrito. About a month later I decided to give them another shot. I ordered the cheese burger and fries. I watched as she put the «frozen» patty on the grill and made my food. NO biggie, lot’s of places do this. When I got back and started to eat the burger I noticed it was cooked on one side and raw and mushy on the other. This was very upsetting as I wanted it to be good. Well TWO strikes and your out in my book. You would think a place that cooks food for a business could make a simple hamburger.

Everything’s great including the Wings, the Pastrami sandwich and the Salads. They have just about everything you could think of for lunch. Go all the way to the end of Forbes road up the last driveway and all the way to the back on the left

I went there today for lunch because it’s close to my work, and very close to the 5 freeway@Crown Valley which makes it cake to get to!

Typical little breakfast /​lunch joint tucked in the back of a business complex. They do some breakfast items, which by description could use a little work (ie: breakfast buritto egg, bacon, cheese, potatoe — missing avocado /​salsa or sauce), but the lunch stuff was great.
Had a turkey club panini, turkey tomo bacon cheese (i think it was american, but i really hope it was cheddar) and their homemade honey mustard. Great panini, even though I should have asked about their deli meat, it was very tasty and cheaper than Skimmers @ 5.99 (Skim$ 8.99).
But skimmers has a larger variety, and this place has maybe 4 or 5 paninis total. I asked them to fax the menu over but they forgottttt.
The girl chef told me they make their own potatoe chips they include free in lunches, but its been slow so they haven’t lately. She said come back in 2 weeks for chips? Guess I’m coming back!
