Computer Repair $75 Virus Removal, Computer Service

Pretty sure the only reason I wasn’t able to drop off my pc the day I needed to was because he was out of town, as in, he probably would’ve taken it that night even though I called him around 8:30pm. You can pick up and drop off your computer up till 11pm which is fantastic for people working on projects who experience failures late at night, for example. I did both around 9/9:30.
He was able to fix my pc for a flat rate, and would have done more work for the same flat rate. He also installed Windows 7 and because I mentioned an interest in Windows 10, he included a button in case I want to upgrade, making the process super easy!
He warned me of the limitations of my motherboard and potential compatibility issues for upgrading. He also gave me tips on how to get my computer back to the restore point he made in case anything went wrong. He also said if I have any issues to call him and he could help me over the phone for a few minutes (though I understand there’d be a certain point where I’d need to pay for his help!)
All for flat rate of $ 75! Prices may change in the future but this was no hassle and didn’t worry about prices sneaking up on me.

Horrible experience. Picked up my laptop and paid Dan $ 100 cash. I asked about a warranty and he said if its not running right to give him a call. That evening I used it for maybe 20 minutes and all was well. The next morning I turned it on an my apps were not operating. I called Dan back, he insisted I did something to it, got mad at me and claimed «I am not your personal IT guy», then he hangs up on me. I call back and he does not answer his phone. I leave a message that I will take him to small claims court and let the Unilocal!world know of his poor service, and his even worse customer service. He texts me back… What a guy. Do yourself a favor and work with another IT person who backs their work and doesn’t blame others for his lack of thoroughness. Looks like he can fix minor problems only. I called Microsoft and their technicians had my laptop working within 20 minutes over the phone.
Avoid Dan’s service. Don’t be taken advantage of like I was…

It’s so frustrating when a computer slows down to a crawl… waiting for your web pages to upload! My computer got a nasty virus, so it was time to take it to a specialist.
I Unilocaled «The Computer Tech» and called Dan. He took my sick computer in and reassured me everything would be okay. His price was very reasonable, much better than those geeks at Best Buy. Dan even installed a new version of Windows and a free anti-​virus, so my computer doesn’t get the flu again!

As a busy notary, I was beside myself when my laptop gave me the blue screen of death. I needed a computer tech quick! The Geek Sq**d charges an insane amount and I had a gut feeling my laptop didn’t have a virus, so I used Unilocal to find someone to assist me. Dan is awesome! I got some type of nasty virus on my computer and he had it completely clean and fixed in less than 24 hours. Plus he uploaded a better virus detection system. He is very professional and very helpful. It would have cost me around $ 150 at the Geek Squad at Best Buy. Dan was $ 50 flat fee! Highly recommended!

I was going to take my computer to Best Buy for a $ 200 service to solve some virus problems, but I came across Dan Miles’ website. He is local to me and for $ 50 he would repair any computer problem (residential, not business) in a day. What a find! My computer is up and running, and I paid a quarter of the price I would have at best buy. It sure is nice to save $ 150 bucks AND support a small business!
