He sounded like a very professional master craftsman on the phone! I wished he worked closer to where I need the work done in down town Los Angeles. He works closer to Laguna Niguel.

All RV owners know that owning an RV is a crapshoot. There are thousands of
things that can possibly go wrong. My wife and I use our 40 foot Diesel pusher
at least a week every month. Last week I had an electrical problem that was a
head scratcher, We were 500 miles from home and had no electrical service.
the park office gave me some cards of possible repairman, and I go «Oh here
we go again» who do you pick. You know, every once in a while you get lucky
and this was MY day. I gave Howard a call and he tried to figure out the problem
on the phone, but we were not successful, he arrived within an hour and had my
problem resolved within two hours, after checking all the way back to the problem.

Did the work for a good price. Even threw in some helpful tips. Highly recommend him.

I would never again allow this guy to work on anything I owned. If you use this guy, GOOD LUCK. He diagnosed a furnace problem and installed a fan control board (which he charged twice the going rate for). His part price was $ 199 when you can buy the same part online several different places for about $ 85. Beside that it didn’t solve the problem. The furnace needed a new thermostat, which is about $ 17. He didn’t test the thermostat first, as he should have. I really don’t believe he intentionally installed the wrong part, I think he made an honest, but stupid mistake. We’ve all done that. But he refused to accept the fact that he made a mistake. He reluctantly did «allow» me to return the part. I paid insurance and shipping.
The real friction I have is he hadn’t fixed my furnace’s problem. But he still wanted to be paid $ 220 for travel (5 miles) and one hour labor. He never offered to reduce his bill for his failed attempt to repair my furnace’s problem. Later he also had the nerve to suggest to Visa, in his response to my disputed bill, that I had returned my original fan control board rather than the one he had installed. They both worked so why I would I do that? It took me less than 30 minutes to remove the one he installed and install my original board. He warned me repeatedly that he would know if I sent any part but the one he had installed. If he had tested the returned board as he claimed he had to do as a part of his 30% re-​stocking fee, he would find that he had a new and perfectly functional fan control board.
Bottom line: His ego wouldn’t allow him to accept his mistaken diagnoses. He is an unreasonable loser! He will be right there when you call him. It is after he shows up that things go wrong. Find a way to get into a local shop and have a professional that will correctly diagnose your problem work on your RV. And warranty their work. His written bill claims he has a 90 day parts and labor guarantee. That sure wasn’t my experience. I guess I’ll count my blessings that his mistake didn’t cause any permanent damage.

Howard was excellent! Prompt, fixed a leak underneath the kitchen sink in my RV and installed better parts than the original. He already had the parts he needed on hand.
Will definatly use him again.

I have used the RV Doctor twice now and could not be any happier with his service. He is respectful, attentive, knowledgeable, capable, and an all around good guy. He shows up when he says he will if not sooner, he is not full of himself and will listen if you know what is going on to speed the diagnosis for the repair, he is quick, thorough, and does a complete job. I would highly recommend Howard to anyone.

My husband and I travel A LOT in our RV, and when an electrical problem took out the power to our fridge while we were miles from our home base and our trusted repair techs, we were worried about what kind of technician we would get. We got Howard’s number/​name from the RV resort where we stayed, and he made time to visit us the next day.
1. He was EXACTLY the type of person you hope shows up when you have a crisis. He is capable, confident, experienced, and fair.
2. He found and fixed the problem quickly with some experienced troubleshooting. He was able to identify and repair it so quickly, that we asked him to help out on a couple of other small electrical problems that had been minor annoyances, but not big enough to warrant their own call.
3. His pricing is fair and reasonable.
4. He is a «normal», trustworthy, and easy-​going person, so it is not awkward to have in him enter your very small living space.

Howard was the most professional mobile RV repair service I have ever used (that includes the US and Canada)! Beginning with his prompt return of phone call, his professionalism continued with his immediate attendance to the issue, constant communication on his progress, and thorough follow through to check on the repair. His prices may be higher than other estimates, but he was honest and reliable which made it more than worth it.

We had this gentleman come out and inspect an RV we wanted to buy. He was thorough and knowledgeable and very personable. He took the time to explain the systems and tell us what we needed to know, which was service above and beyond our expectations. We would highly recommend him as a courteous, knowledgeable RV professional.

Had some problems with our diesel pusher RV refrigerator, found Howard after reading reviews on RV websites. He is VERY knowledgeable and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. He also gave us suggestions on our RV ice maker and how to fix that, even though it was not tied to the reason we called him. Hubby learned alot from him, which was a huge bonus, he’s willing to share his knowledge. We’d call him again in a heartbeat!
