American Mobile Music

My husband and I just used American Mobile Music for our wedding at Tivoli Terrace and we had Julie as our DJ. She was absolutely AMAZING!!! She made the night run so smoothly, she almost felt like my wedding coordinator. She was fabulous!!! She played all of the songs we requested, kept the party on the dance floor, and made the night perfect! So many guests commented on how great she was. Thanks Julie!!!

DJ Julie was just fabulous. From start to finish, we had a great experience working with Julie. Before the wedding, she made sure to give us planning tools to help us pick the right songs and plan our reception to our liking. She followed up to confirm everything with us and made us feel very confident in her.
On the day of the wedding, Julie got EVERYONE up and dancing. It was incredible. I’ve never seen so many people on a dance floor at a wedding in my life. Best part was it was for OUR wedding! We were so happy that Julie played so many of our requests (and knew which crowd favorites to play to keep people coming back for more). Another plus is that our older guests told us they felt the volume was just right, and they were still able to hold conversations while others danced. All in all a wonderful experience. Don’t hesitate to book Julie!
PS, her husband is an incredibly talented singer as well. If we didn’t already have entertainment planned before hiring Julie, we would have had him sing at our wedding in a heartbeat. His voice is phenomenal!

We hired Julie as our DJ for our wedding and everything was awesome! She handled everything and worked very well with our venue (Tivoli Too). Everyone was dancing all night long and we had such a blast! We also had the uplighting that they provide and it was perfect. Really creates a different feel inside the tent, nice lighting for dinner and fun lighting for dancing. Overall very pleased and very thankful!

We hired Julie for our wedding a few weeks ago at Tivoli Terrace in Laguna Beach. If you want people dancing and having a good time at your wedding, then Julie is the way to go! She is so organized and when it comes time to do your details meeting a week or so before your wedding, she already has a timeline written out to review with you. This was a huge relief to me as I was running around doing last minute wedding tasks, packing to travel out of state for the wedding and getting my dogs situated to be boarded. You will run through the timeline and Julie asks you if you’d like to change the order of when dances, speeches, cake cutting, ETC will take place. Also, you have to remember, not only is your DJ there to play music, they coordinate the whole wedding and that’s important. I never thought I’d be dancing as much as I did at my wedding, it was just too fun not to! A lot of our guests were dancing and everyone said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. We seriously couldn’t have hired a better DJ. Thank you, Julie!!!

The DJ was great that was sent out for our wedding. Julie was great with communicating with me for the details of the event, but sadly wasn’t available for our wedding which was March 5^th, 2016. The only thing I didn’t like about the process was that I didn’t get to meet the DJ before our wedding to really go over our songs and set list. The DJ did call me 4 days before the wedding, but I was of course very busy with finalizing all the last minute details and entertaining family that had come in from out of state.
Overall it was a great night, and we had a blast.

We just used American Mobile Music as our DJ for our wedding at Tivoli Too and everything was amazing! We hired Julie as our DJ who did a fabulous job. They have a good website where you can select your top dancing songs, father daughter dance, bouquet toss, etc. I liked their site where they have their top 100 songs used for weddings. Gives you good ideas for songs you want. Everything was organized, professional, and fun! You can’t go wrong using American Mobile Music!

Everyone on here says that Julie is just great! And I am sure he is. Unfortunately she was not available for my date. I had bob for my Dj this past Saturday. I was so excited for him to be my Dj. He was so nice and professional in our meeting etc. I hate to do this and I never write bad reviews but this was the most important day of my life and I feel like he did an awful job. We paid for lights and he didn’t set them up. He messed up my walking down the aisle song. Half of my walk, I walked down to no music because he didn’t switch it and I was standing in the entrance for over 5 minutes and I said screw it and started walking. He didn’t pronounce any of my bridal party correctly or play the correct song for that, during toasts he butchered every name, he played all the songs that we wanted to dance to during our dinner. It was just a disaster. It’s funny now… but seriously at the time… I wanted to cry. My suggestion is to stay with Julie. She is great and seems very nice and professional. I just think it might be past bobs time a bit.

DJ Julie & American Mobile Music are fantastic. At our first meeting, Julie invited us to her home… we were able to get an idea of her style but we also loved how friendly and inviting she was. For my husband and me, we loved how easygoing she was & her professionalism. We decided to book her that day for our Sunday brunch wedding at The Hacienda.
Julie was very easy to work with. She has online forms and a website that allowed us to plan out the music we wanted for various occasions (ex: first dance, cake cutting) and also to play during the free reception time. Our wedding was quite short (only 4 hours total) but I felt like Julie really kept things moving along. There were some songs requested that were not listed on her website but she was able to find them & played them despite that. About a week before the wedding, she called and we went over some details and then on our wedding day, Julie snapped some photos of us and assured us that everything would go as planned. The wedding went smoothly and guests were sad that the music/​dancing had to end.
A part of me was afraid that our wedding might not have many people dancing since our families are a bit more traditional but I was wrong — she definitely got the guests dancing & they all had a great time. I had so many people say to me how much fun they thought our wedding was. And, I must also say that it’s rare to find a female DJ and with the accent. People were in love with her –one of my guests even said that they could just listen to her read the dictionary aloud because they just liked hearing her talk. :)
Overall, I would highly recommend Julie & American Mobile Music. They are professional and very easy to work with — if I had another event in need of music, I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again.

Julie was the DJ for my big day and I have to say she is amazing! Everyone loved her! The planning tools on her website made it so simple to choose my music and she has such a huge selection. She gave me referrals for my photographer and officiant and they were the best that you can have. The team worked so well together and she made the whole wedding transition flawlessly. She even wore my wedding colors to match everyone! What a great stress free experience she made for me!

Julie was the absolutely most sophisticated yet fun MC/​DJ I could have ever hoped for. She balanced professionalism with spark, as well as our music suggestions with her own choices based on the mood and tone of our event. She is so easy to work with and has excellent taste. My partner and I were so pleased that we were able to book her. I suggest booking early as she is in high demand. Julie is absolutely terrific! I strongly recommend booking her for a wedding.

Julie was our wedding DJ. I first saw her DJ at a friend’s wedding, and she definitely caught my and my fiancé’s (now husband) attention, so we decided to find her. Good thing she was still available when we contacted her. There aren’t a lot of female DJs out there and we certainly love her British accent. Apart from these, she’s professional and a fun emcee/​DJ at the same time. I’ve been to weddings where the DJs were okay to good but were either awkward, obnoxious or hamming it a bit too much when it came to emceeing. Julie is certainly none of that. She’s got class and mad DJ skills. She played all of the important dance songs on our list, including all the background music we requested. We had a day wedding in October 2014 and it was very hot. But despite the heat, Julie got us and our guests to keep on enjoying our time on the dance floor.

Julie and her company American Mobile Music were fantastic. Julie was truly amazing, she kept us on track and played all the music at all the right times. She set up well before the event time and ensured we were set up for success. She stayed till the very last seconds ensuring the party was vibrant till the end. In addition to her DJ talents she was very professional, kind and a pleasure to work with. She also is an excellent photographer. I would highly recommend American Mobile Music, and if you have the extra budget it is well worth it to reserve Julie as your DJ.

American Mobile DJ performed at our wedding at Tivoli and they were a pleasure to work with! I am pretty picky about music so it was extremely important that the right songs were played to create the right vibe. Bob played all the songs we requested and even at times on repeat which of course I didn’t mind hearing again! In the end, everybody was on the dance floor and having a great time!

We hired American Mobile Music for our wedding last weekend. They impressed us from our first meeting to throughout the wedding day festivities. DJ Julie is outstanding. Coordinating with Julie was one of the most stress-​free parts of our wedding planning. She offers a helpful web interface for song choices. It seems a bit limiting at first, but actually Julie welcomes any level of detail you want to provide. We sent over an email with the songs we like, and Julie managed to play almost all of them at the event, if not all of them (who’s really counting when you’re having fun, right)?
We also asked for a first song that can be quite long, but she worked with us to find the perfect radio edit to play that was just the right length.
At the event, Julie is very fun, exceedingly polite and gracious, and in control of the proceedings at all times. She coordinated extremely well with the staff at Tivoli Terrace.
Julie was absolutely the perfect choice for DJ for our wedding reception, and we can’t thank her enough for a job well done. Cheers!

Bob sang our first dance and it was so nice, all of my guests were very impressed with his singing skills and everyone can’t stop talking about it and showing videos to their friends after the wedding! I am so proud that I have found them myself!

Hello party planners! If you want an amazing DJ you have to go with American Mobile.
After meeting with severals dj’s and just not feeling confident they would be able to get the wedding dancing since it was a morning brunch i finally found American Mobile DJ! From the first time I spoke with Julie I knew she was going to be the perfect fit as the DJ for my wedding. And boy was I right!
Not only did she play every song at the «perfect timing» she was like an extra bridesmaid/​wedding planner! :) Their website has a very simple tool that allows you to ad/​delete songs before the day to make sure you get all the songs you want played too which is simply the best thing when you’re trying to do a hundreds things at once. It allows you to save and go back when you want on your own schedule.
Brides: my florist didn’t show up! As you can imagine I was balling in tears and there was Julie to the rescue out of nowhere she had a fan cooling me off from crying and ice cold water! I kept thinking I didn’t know I was hiring a friend when I picked you as my DJ. She was that amazing. She had a little camera as the day went and was snapping candid shots it was so adorable :)
I can’t wait until our next event because I will absolutely without a doubt be using Julie!
Ps. Savvy Flowers was the florist who just simply didnt show to my wedding after being paid in full and sent a simple apology the day after. No I’m not joking! Julie was running around helping pull flowers together that The Hacienda had lying around. She was just amazing.
