Sprinkler Solutions

We had leaks last night from valves and broken sprinkler head. Ugh! Sprinkler Solutions came out this morning, thoroughly evaluated the problems and gave a reasonable estimate. They did the work right away and explained everything well. What a great job and now our system is working again!

After initially being impressed. When I noticed an issue later after a few months, we got the run around. Calls were returned sporadically promises made to drop by… Nada.
Some of it could be our fault as we were not able to answer the infrequent call backs (uh… We have day jobs) but after 4 times trying I gave up.
No Bueno for this firm!

I had used John Hurley to update my irrigation/​sprinkler system several years ago and had good success so I asked him to come by again for another check, repair, readjust. He came by, we set up an appointment for that coming weekend and he never showed-​never called-​never returned my calls. After a week of trying to chase him with ZERO return contact I moved on and hired someone else.
I would be very cautious before I ever trust this person to work on my property again.

Called because I had some wires go bad on my valves. I learned that they were old and parts were not available. In an effort to save me money, the tech tore about his car trying to find spare parts that would save me from replacing the entire valve. I would trust this company to do work for me again!

We installed some pavers and took out some turf and the workers did something to the system. I called and left a message to schedule a bid on repairing the zone and converting a zone to a drip system. They called my promptly back and listened to what I needed done. We scheduled an appointment for the next day. Same story as Erin, they no showed and never called. I never heard back from them.

John and his team were prompt, courteous and fair. John found an effective and far less costly alternative solution to what another irrigation company recommended for my main line sprinkler leak. Highly recommended.

I Unilocaled «Sprinkler Solutions» to see what kind of a rating they had with previous clients, and because their ratings were so high I gave them a call to get an estimate on setting up a sprinkler system at my condo. Initially John seemed nice and we set up a time for him to do an estimate for me. After this he never returned my phone calls despite countless attempts to get ahold of him. What a WASTE of my time! Thanks 4 nothing. If I could give Sprinkler Systems 0 stars, I would!

John has replaced most of our old plastic valves with new ones, replaced an aging sprinkler control with a new one and is expert about how to set everything up to work properly. I like to have him come out twice a year for a sprinkler «check up.» He also found a pipe that had been broken by tree roots waaaay under a tree that was causing our water bill to go up, fixed the pipe and saved the over saturated landscape in that area. That was a really tricky job and he did a very good job.

Excellent service and customer service. John runs his business the way most businesses should be run: professionally and with pride of ownership. Our back yard had sprinkler coverage issues; we called John for a general repair job and the yard now looks wonderful. He customized the irrigation options to our needs via various types of sprinkler heads; very nice job and we could not be happier! Finally our plants are happy!

Excellent service from beginning to end. It was easy to set up an appointment, the techs that were sent were nice, efficient, quick, and professional and the repairs were relatively inexpensive. Will definitely use again. They are recommended some tuning of my system to make the house not rot. Thanks!

John gave me a very fair quote (verbally — I had one other from a guy who didn’t listen to what I asked for), showed up on the day he said, did exactly what he said, and gave me a detailed invoice with the exact numbers he quoted. He also showed me how everything worked, tweaked stuff to fit my situation once we talked, and the system has worked great ever since. Finally, the site was left clean. I won’t call another service here on out. John, Thank you!

We had another underground sprinkler issue so I gave John a call. He returned the call very quickly and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. He was able to diagnose the issue very quickly and fix it right on the spot. We will definitely continue to call Sprinkler Solutions for all of our sprinkler needs.

John has worked on many of our jobs & he always does a great job. He shows up when we need him & he does quality work.

they did a great job, in that my old brown lawn is now green due to their placement of the sprinklers and spray. the only bad part was that it took several phone calls before I could get them out here, and he didn’t show up for the first appointment.

After my husband botched a DIY job changing out a leaking sprinkler valve which resulted in two visits by our water district who ultimately turned off our water at the main line leaving us with no water, I immediately turned to Unilocal and found Sprinkler Solutions. My husband called late Saturday evening, and John arrived early Sunday morning and replaced two valves, set the automatic timer and gave suggestions on future work my husband inquired about. Needless to say, we were extremely happy with Sprinkler Solutions’ work and highly recommend them.

We had an appointment with John this morning at 11:00am for a sprinkler repair estimate. This appointment was scheduled with him a week in advance.
We received a call at 10:50am, and John told us that he just realized that we were too far and outside of his service area, so he will not be able to meet with us. Seriously? He was given our address when the appointment was scheduled, so he should have told us when it was given to him.
We are very disappointed, and frankly happy that he didn’t make it out. How can you run a business by treating future customers like this?

Left a message for some sprinkler work. John called back, but apparently he was trying to reach someone else and called by mistake. So he made an estimate appointment with me for the next day at 6pm. The next morning he calls again, oblivious to having already make the appointment, so we reconfirmed the appointment for 6pm. By the time 6pm rolled around, John just flat out no-​showed. No calls, no follow up. Last time I went ahead with a contractor like this the job ended to be a disaster. I’m just glad I didn’t take time off of work in the middle of the day to wait for him.

John just finished up with my house. My neighbor let me know that there was a leak and it was flooding part of her house. I called John yesterday, and he came by and fixed it today. He educated me on how my sprinkler system works and made suggestions. While making these suggestions he in no way tried to upsell me understanding that we just bought this house and have plenty of other projects to take care of first. When the time comes to upgrade our sprinkler system, John will definitely be getting a call from me.

John came out last Saturday for a quote. He was prompt, friendly, and really helpful in explaining our different options.
Once my husband and I decided what option we wanted to go with, John came out with his team today, and came back this evening (after work) to walk me through what they’d done. He again took his time to explain everything they’d done, additional things they’d found in doing the work, and what future work we should keep in mind. John also took the time to answer my questions about general lawn care and helped me set my sprinkler timer!
You don’t often find this quality of workmanship and consideration for the client, so I REALLY appreciate it! Definitely recommend this John and his team!

John just left and I am very happy with the service he provided.
My sprinkler system is original to the house and hasn’t been updated in 30+ years. There was a sprinkler head in the front yard that I have repaired a dozen times and I finally got fed up and called a professional in to help solve the problem permanently.
He showed up on time, was knowledgeable and friendly. He explained my options and got to work right away. The immediate problem is fixed and he provided an estimate on how to update the entire system including putting it on a timer. (yeah, the sprinkler system is that old, I have to manually turn it on and off)
I will absolutely use Sprinkler Solutions again in the future.
