Scott T Anderson OD – Visions Optometry

My family and I love this office! Dr. Anderson is extremely helpful, polite, knowledgeable, and kind. Our checkups are quick but thorough, even for my five-​year-​old son. Susan and Ursula at the front desk are incredibly friendly and helpful! The office has a very casual and hospitable feel — my wife was able to leave our kids (glued to their tablets) in the waiting area during her exam while the receptionists graciously kept an eye on them. Even though we only visit their office once a year, this team almost feels like family to us. Highly recommended!

I am so pleased with Dr. Anderson and the staff at Visions Optometry. My husband and I, along with our 3 children have been patients of Dr. Anderson for at least 5 years, and have received excellent service. Ursala and I Susan are absolutely wonderful. Ursala has been so professional and helpful to us. We feel like we are their extended family. We would highly recommend Vision Optometry for all your vision care.

Dr. Anderson and Ursula are the best! I came in last Friday for my very first eye exam ever! They were both right on time and Ursula helped me with all the fun insurance info and also helped me pick out my very first pair of eye glasses. She is very knowledgeable. Dr. Anderson was so kind and patient, answered every question I had. I’d like to thank the office for giving me such a great experience. I will definitely return and refer others!

This review in no way reflects on Scott Anderson’s capability as an optometrist.
His choice in receptionists, however, is abysmal at best.
I spent a very frustrating morning speaking to Ursula, Visions Optometry’s apparent receptionist, although «speaking» wouldn’t really be the right verb. Ursula dominated the conversation, which worked out to my detriment as she could not stop talking over me long enough to find out how to spell my name or which insurance I have!
After messing up my name 6 times, messing up my insurance twice (VSP does not sound anything like Infinity, sorry), and demanding my social security number multiple times, when I was on the phone with my vision insurance who was telling me NOT to give her my social, that my social wasn’t linked to their file of me and that she would have to use my member ID to find me (what do you know, after 15 other tries, when she FINALLY used my member ID, IT WORKED! Go figure), I am absolutely exhausted.
I feel tense and frustrated, and frankly am quite disappointed. I was excited to have found what appeared to be, based on the Unilocal reviews, a great optometrist near me to get new eyeglasses and contacts, but in 100% full disclosure, I did not even bother to make an appointment after my wasted time with Ursula. I will be going somewhere else. Until Ursula inevitably gets fired, I would suggest anyone else does, too.

Nice doctor — but I’ve never had such a problematic pair of glasses in my LIFE.
I’ve had better frames and lenses from SEARS for half the price.
Apparently Visions Optometry think my insurance is sucky — because I got the cheapest possible lens material (no they didn’t ask me what I wanted). They CAN NOT be effectively cleaned, even spraying them with the tiny bottle of cleaner they gave me leaves a film. Fingerprints only smudge around and let’s not even discuss the THREE TIMES I’ve been back for frame adjustments and they still sit on top of my ears instead of between my ears and my head.
I’ll be going back to Sears. Despite their troubles, at least they can still produce a quality pair of eyeglasses.

Dr. Anderson is really nice, and I like going here. Ursula at the front desk is hilarious!!!

Had my first eye appointment with Dr. Anderson the other day for a routine eye exam. He is a very knowledgable, personable, and soft-​spoken fellow. I highly recommend seeing him for your eye care needs.

Dr. Scott Anderson has been my optometrist for many, many years, and for good reason. He is patient, thorough, and friendly. I have always been very pleasantly impressed with how he conducts his exams. He speaks clearly, he explains each part of the exam, he listens thoughtfully to my questions and concerns.
I enjoy Dr. Anderson’s staff, too. Susan and Ursula have worked for him for years.
I completely trust Dr. Anderson, and I highly recommend him!

I have been going to Dr. Anderson for about 3 years now and am very pleased with his services. He spends a lot of time with me and really cares about my overall health as well as my eye health.

Dr Anderson does the most careful job in testing my eyes. I’ve been having my eyes tested for glasses prescriptions for 30 years and most opticians do an ok job, but they never spend the time trying different combination’s to get it exactly right, but Dr Anderson does.
His charges are reasonable, but his services are superb. Last year I had a problem with the coating on my glasses and he replaced them without any problems. I trust my eyes to him. I recommend him to anyone. He is also a very nice person and a pleasure to deal with.
I recommend him to anyone, especially if you are older, I am 70.
