I needed a few pairs of jeans and pants hemmed, so I Unilocaled local alterations services in my area. I came upon Van and decided to give him a try since he was literally 2 blocks from my house. (I try not to leave my bubble if I can help it! Lol!) He did such a great job on my pants that I decided to write my first Unilocal review. He definitely knows what he’s doing as he is an actual tailor that makes and designs custom suits and clothing (not someone who just does alterations). His prices are very fair and the turnaround is fast! He is very friendly and down to earth. I am recommending him to all my friends.

Wow, Van is awesome!!! Have a black 100% wool jacket, the sleeves were too short, another tailor said there was nothing to be done, not Van the tailor!!! He is a master magician!!! Thanks Van!!!

Van is the Man! Van has always done great work for over 15 years for me. One time I needed a dress altered everywhere for a charity event that night. Van did a perfect job… I had a gentleman approach me on the dance floor who said that his table took a vote, and I won the best dress of the night!!! Whether just hemming pants or creating a new dress, using an old dress as the pattern, Van does an outstanding job! Thank you Van! Nelson

I had a hole in my favorite pants, I dropped them off with van to have them mended, I just picked them up, and they are completely ruined– he patched them with a different type of material and now they look terrible, unwearable in fact. At least he gave me a refund. Definitely skip this place if you actually care about your clothes.

great service. van is very knowledgeable about men’s clothing and style variations around the world, but unlike some other tailors he doesn’t try pushing is opinions on you.
i had two made-​to-​measure-​suits created for me that needed some slight adjustments upon arrival. sleeve shortening on both and just a bit of the width taken out of the back of another. both cam back perfectly.
my wife also had some of those absurdly expensive jeans hemmed and she was very happy with the result.
