All I can say is they couldn’t keep their time. It was scheduled for 5pm, but instead, they made us wait till 6pm, opening time. Crappy start!

We attended our friend’s wedding here this past Saturday. And it was very modern with a touch of nature. Initially, I thought it overlooked Laguna Beach but that was less than a 5 minute drive away. Nonetheless, this venue for a wedding is perfect for the modern yet sophisticated couple with a hint of nature surrounding it. I don’t know if they had an outside caterer but the food was delicious that I couldn’t stop eating and their the live band was amazing. And at the end they allowed sparklers for the couple to be greeted with as a bonus voyage (which a lot of places do not allow). So that was definitely pretty to partake in. A very pretty place but I’m sure it cost a pretty penny too: D

I came here for a large dinner event. The upstairs outdoor venue is gorgeous and excellent for outdoor socializing.

Where do I start? First, the winter décor at Seven Degrees is gorgeous! We had birch trees along the perimeter of the reception, hanging chandeliers and this beautiful chandelier laced entrance that just took my breath away! When I first walked into the reception room, I knew this was where I wanted to get married. The day of the wedding, the ceremony area looked beautiful, with the round lanterns and blush lighting and the reception room looked amazing – with the purple and blue uplighting and the winter décor! Everyone commented about how beautiful the space was and my husband and I both agree that the venue was just perfect for us! Now, on to Lauren – our out-​of-​this-​world wedding coordinator! We met with her a few times to finalize all the details and she was really nice and easy to work with. The day of the wedding, she executed everything perfectly! It was so flawless I was not stressed for one second of the wedding day! The entire thing went off without a hitch and I know that it was because of Lauren’s hard work! She is wonderful to work with and I can only hope that every bride gets a coordinator who is as organized and sweet!

If I had to plan my wedding again, I would not choose this place.
They said they didn’t want to stress us out the weekend before our wedding… I wish they really meant that. I would give negative stars if I could. They made wedding planning and my ceremony a total nightmare.
One reason I picked this place was because it came as a package with coordinators. One fewer vendor to search for! But goodness, even Cinderella’s helpers would’ve been a million times more effective, and they don’t even speak english!
I won’t make this review too long because then you won’t read it, but I’ll try to highlight why I am so upset with this place.
1.The Fri/​Sat before the wedding, our coordinator emails us with a message that she can no longer provide coordination services until our balance is paid out (the balance was around $ 1,000 due to additions from our final meeting the week before. We were never given a deadline for this payment, and until then, we had paid the tens of thousands of dollars on time, if not early, and IN FULL).
2. They kept changing the story on the cost and availability of parking spots… and even blamed us for the increase in price. The contract showed $ 10 – 15 PER SPOT for our guests, but they wanted to charge us $ 20! (Isn’t is already ridiculous they charge us per spot for our guests???)
3. They had an extremely unprofessional relationship with our florist and created drama that should have been kept under wraps. Instead, they personally insulted our florist, created inconveniences for them, and tried to charge us the difference because our coordinators didn’t understand or listen to our plans for flower set-​up. They also created all of this drama the weekend before our wedding, when they knew who our florist was since our first concept meeting!
4. Here’s the true kicker. We spent hours and hours choosing the right songs for our wedding. We created a playlist for the guest arrival, guest seating, and specific songs for each part of the ceremony. My husband had a dummy-​proof list and titled playlists that explained what to play and when… First, they had technical difficulties playing the songs. Second, they never bothered to let us know so it could be fixed immediately (and thus, they just played whatever music they wanted). Third, the sound technician from the rehearsal was NOT the same technician on the day of… why did we even have a rehearsal then???
And FINALLY, THEY PLAYED NO SONG FOR THE BRIDAL PROCESSIONAL (and then played the wrong song halfway down, and then changed it again for the last few seconds). I cannot tell you how frustrating and upsetting and disappointing it is to step out in front of hundreds of people and walk down the aisle UPSET and ANGRY. I did not get to experience the joy or see the excited look on my husband’s face as I walked down the aisle, because he could see from far away that I was extremely angry.
On the day of the wedding, my husband and I put aside all of the drama and frustration that Seven Degrees had created the final week of preparation. We wanted our wedding day to be worth all of the time, money, and love we poured into it… but that final mistake was not something that we could overlook or brush off. They really screwed up.
I cannot express how extremely unprofessional and ill-​trained their coordinators are. Technical difficulties should’ve been taken care of. Protecting the moment should have been more important than protecting the timeline… And now my ceremony will forever have bitter pit in my heart because Seven Degrees dropped the ball.

Cayla, Kathryn and the Seven Degrees team are AMAZING! Words cannot describe how thankful I am for all their help and dedication. They made this entire process seamless and smooth. Everything was absolutely perfect! The wedding ceremony and reception were absolutely spectacular and more than we could have hoped for. The food was amazing! Even the vendors commented on their meals, that it was the best they every had. The service was outstanding! Several guests told us it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they had attended.
Thank you for our dream wedding! I highly recommend this venue!

Just had my work holiday party here and it was so beautiful and the food was feet the wine and champs were good selections and every employee I came in contact with was so nice and had a great time

Just had my wedding here and this place was amazing from the start to the end. The place is not only elegant and modern but the people that work there are amazing, starting with Katie and ending with Cayla and Kathryn. The chef is super friendly and the food is amazing. My husband and I are so happy we got to have our wedding at this beautiful venue and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. If you are looking for a venue in this area this is the place to have it. My husband and I got married here this past September and everything was amazing! We had first worked with Katie, and she pretty much sealed the deal for us! I know that people that are in the wedding business always need to have a smile on their face and be happy, but this was genuine. We truly liked everyone there. Through the planning process, we worked mostly with Lauren and Cayla. I have heard horror stories about wedding planners, but the way our wedding planning worked out, it was a breeze! They made everything so easy!!! The entire staff was so professional and courteous the day of, it took so much off of our mind. Our experience here was top notch! I almost forgot the food! My husband and I wanted a traditional Cantonese family style meal. Not only did their chef deliver authentic food, but modernized it. He is truly talented at what he does!!! Our guests all said that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Thank you Seven degrees for making our special day so beautiful and memorable!

Let Me Start Off By Saying Not Only Is This Venue Absolutely Breathtaking But The Service And Staff Were Phenomenal… The Cuisine And Presentations Were Astonishing, Lauren The Event Coordinator Took A Huge Part In Making This Day Truly Special For My Father And His Bride, She Truly Went Above And Beyond With Making My Fathers Wedding Day One To Remember… My Family And I Couldn’t Have Pictured It Any Better, Thank You To All Whom Participated

On August 1^st we had a great time at my son’s wedding. Unfortunately didn’t get the great appetizer that everyone was talking about it. The dinner was excellent. I wish the coordinator would of announce the cake cutting and that guest could pick a favor from the table.

My husband and I got married here on 7÷10÷15 and it was absolutely perfect. The team did an incredible job! All my married friends warned me things would go wrong the day of, but I can honestly say that wasn’t the case with our wedding. The day was executed perfectly thanks to Cayla and Lauren.
In the initial phase of signing the contract, I worked with Katie and she was the best. We had a certain price point we wanted to stick to. Thanks to Katie’s hard work, she was able to provide us some great options and keep us on budget.
I feel like I hit the jackpot working with these three wonderful ladies! Thanks for making the process so easy and helping to coordinate the best wedding!

Our High School hosted the Prom here. The staff was professional. Great venue for Prom. Security was top notch. I cannot say enough good things about this venue for an event!

Attended a wedding here. I wasn’t part of the wedding party, but my wife was, so I was involved somewhat with setting up and execution of the event. Seven-​Degrees was a great venue, a one-​stop-​shop with a beautiful terrace with a nice view for the ceremony, a large banquet hall/​media room for the reception and friendly, helpful staff with great catering. Some of the best wedding catering food I’ve had, fish was super moist and soft, beef so tender it could be cut with a fork. The coordinators were helpful and accommodating, servers were friendly and also helpful. Very nice looking place, inside and out. Deceptively large — it looks very small from the front but the place is multi-​story and makes good use of the available space. There were probably a solid 150+ people and it never felt too crowded.

We had our wedding at Seven-​Degrees this past Saturday and it was absolutely PERFECT! My husband and I are so happy with how everything turned out. This was the third place we checked out when we were searching for a venue and I fell in love immediately. My only concern was being able to afford such a beautiful venue but they were able to work with our budget! We did our due diligence and checked out a few other venues but my heart was set on Seven-​Degrees and I’m so happy I listened to it.
Alyssa Kayo and Calya McLaughlin did an amazing job putting this wedding together in two short months. Everything was beautiful and we received so many compliments on how gorgeous and well-​organized the wedding was. Thank you so much for all the hard work you girls put into this event, for being so nice to work with and helping us out with alphabetizing our name cards (something we were responsible for), getting me tea with honey when I needed it as I was still recovering from a cold, and just making this whole process so easy for us — we couldn’t be more grateful!
We also received a lot of compliments on the food — thank you Chef Robert! We didn’t have a tasting prior to the wedding but the chef assured me that they used the best of the best ingredients and gave me so many options to choose from and made great recommendations. Along with other Unilocal reviews, I felt confident the food would be great and we were not disappointed! We didn’t get a chance to eat the food the night of so they packaged it up for us and we had it the next day for dinner — it was still so delicious! My husband was also very impressed with the bar and how well the drinks were mixed.

My husband and I just got married here on 01/​10/​2015. This venue is truly amazing. Katie Plambeck was our first point of contact in regards to obtaining information and booking the venue. Then we were introduced to Alyssa Kayo, our event coordinator, and Lauren Shea, the assistant coordinator. The staff at Seven-​Degrees is extremely detail-​oriented. We were originally going to have our ceremony outside, but it rained on our wedding day and the staff organized the wedding ceremony under a beautifully-​lit tent with lanterns, candles and petals. It was spectacular. Throughout the process, the team sent over diagrams, outlines, timelines – YOU NAME IT! During the night of the event, the staff (coordinators, servers, bartenders, caterers) was top-​notch.
I am SO HAPPY we chose Seven-​Degrees. Our friends and family were impressed with how beautiful the venue was and how professional the staff is. From the bottom of our hearts, we are so thankful to everyone at Seven-​Degrees for all of their hard work and efforts into making this an amazing and unforgettable event for us. We highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for an impeccable location for such a memorable event.

I was here for my friend’s wedding. I’m not sure I’d come here on my own. Apparently you only come here for your own wedding or someone else’s wedding based on the reviews. My friend was engaged in June 2013 and married yesterday so it looks like they got Saturday reservations within 3 months. So if you want to get hitched quick, come here to celebrate.
The place has a lot of stairs so it was like walking up the castle to see Rapunzel. They had staff at every corner telling you to «go up the stairs» or «take a left here». In my heels before drinks was easy, but after drinks and dancing, a bit difficult.
The food was excellent! The fish melted in my mouth and the asparagus & mushrooms were delicious. The room was beautifully decorated with the most ornate centerpieces (this would be the florist). The place was a little bit too «cold» for my taste as it was sort of a big cement room where the reception was held. The top deck where the hors d’œuvre were served was beautiful during sunset. Staff was nice. Parking was ample. Overall, other than being happy for my friend getting married, the place was kind of mediocre for me.

Those words sum up my wedding over the weekend at Seven-​Degrees. After a year’s worth of planning, it was absolutely amazing to see everything come to fruition and see the fruits of my labor on the special day. All the details were executed exactly as I had envisioned and it was literally like seeing a dream come true. Best.night.ever.
All the guests were incredibly impressed by the venue — specifically, the lighting, floral arrangements, FOOD — they were all raving about how good Chef Robert’s dishes were like the Filet Mignon with seared scallops and Chocolate Pot de Crème. Food is very important to my husband and I as we’re both foodies (him definitely more than me since he has the Unilocal Elite status!) and Seven-​Degrees lived up to all of our expectations.
Outside of the delicious food, our coordinator, Alyssa Kayo did an excellent job during the planning process and was a thrill to work with. She was very detail oriented, organized, nice and had a good sense of humor. On the actual day, she was on the money and made sure everything ran smoothly. I was 110% confident that everything would be fine that day (it was more than fine, it was perfect!) and did not stress out one bit. Alyssa would check on me from time to time to make sure I was doing OK and even brought me some band-​aids when I told her I had a blister on my foot :)
I highly recommend Seven-​Degrees if you’re looking for a contemporary sleek/​modern, unique venue with state of the art lighting/​audio and phenomenal « Unilocal foodie-​approved» food. You will not be disappointed and it will be worth every penny!

My buddies recently held their wedding ceremony and reception here. Damn them (jk!) because they just raised the bar for all the other weddings to come! Seven-​Degrees is the perfect site for those of you who are looking for a modern, chic, and sleek style venue. Definitely a non-​traditional lay out. If I had to compare this venue to something, I would imagine the W hotel or maybe the City Center in Las Vegas. With looks like this, comes lots of dead presidents so be ready when you call for a quote.
There was ample free parking on site, surprisingly I didn’t see a valet service. The wedding itself was about 200 people and we perfectly filled up the place. I think anymore would’ve pushed it over the top.
The wedding ceremony was held on the top floor and on this day the sun was out so you may want to keep your shades on hand. The back drop for pictures was perfect, plenty of nice props and different lay outs that you’ll find yourself snapping non stop. They had photographers posted everywhere, even high above in the midst of the bamboo and vegetation where they were getting shots of the ceremony and guests like snipers in the bush.
Before heading down to the second floor for the wedding reception, I was amazed at how fast the staff cleared out the foldable chairs we all sat on during the ceremony. Soon after we were invited to the open bar and the h’orderves. The staff were very professional and efficient throughout the whole event.
The reception began on the second floor where I imagined it being like a mini club. The lights reflecting an array of colors in the room, the flatscreen tv’s (they had the wedding couple’s pictures on rotation the entire time), the booming sounds from the dj, just worked up the whole environment. We had a three course meal that was a hit for everyone. The pistachio crusted fish was the winner over the short braised rib and the crème brûlée’ was an awesome closer. I have to state that the chocolate wedding cake was also very moist and tasty.
The open bar kept the night filled with laughs, minor drama, drunken soon to be told stories. Overall everyone had a blast. Free alki whoo hoo! My only gripe was a few of the bartendars were kind of a prick. My friend who ordered a few shots for a group received the following comment, «Are you going to tip for all these shots?» Just a note, we were told that tip was already included but if we wanted to tip more, it would be on us which most of us did anyways. I know those bartendars did not represent the rest of the staff that night because the rest deserved their credit and appraisal.
Within a blink of an eye, the whole wedding was coming to a close. Everything ran smoothly, it could have not gone down any smoother than it did. Again, great job to the staff and planners. By the end of the night, we were standing in a row with sparklies lit while the new Mr & Mrs walked down the steps before vanishing off.
Seven-​Degrees was the perfect venue for this wedding.
