How do I begin, HORRIBLE! I’m a bride to be. I’m getting married in a couple months, so I decided to rent their Rolls Royce for my big day, I had paid them in FULL! Then I receive an email today that «they are going out of business», AND followed by refund. Who does that?! Like seriously!!! So I tried to be calm and figure this out and Liz, which was ONCE helpful, cancelled my limo for my wedding date ALL VIA TEXT! So unprofessional! Not only did you not answer all the times I called you but then you said «you were in a meeting» but you were still texting back and fourth with me? HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Very disappointed, and disgusted! You would think someone would explain the situation better and do something to make it up, oh no. right away she threw her «refund.and on what card»!! I’m starting to think they cancelled my limo service and gave it to someone else. I’m so certain! Who cancels a contract through TEXT??? Apparently this company does!

I tried via email and two phone calls (to the answering service) to book a limo and possibly two limos for my parents 50^th Wedding Anniversary and NEVER got a returned phone call. On two occasions had to resend two separate emails for more information. They may once they are booked be fine but trying to book is impossible in my eyes. I will try another service. Thank you for not helping me with a very special and rare occasion.

I used matebele limo for my transportation for my wedding day September 19, 2015. I must say, I was completely satisfied with my first contact with Liz, to my early arrival of the driver Fernando Martinez in the beautiful, black rolls royce phantom. Fernando was so courteous and we talked and had a wonderful time together. My wedding at the church ended and Fernando drove my husband and i to our reception at the San pedro doubletree hotel. One of our family members was following behind us cause they were from out of town and did not know how to get there. They got lost and we arrived at the hotel early so Fernando assisted with helping to find our lost family members. We drove out the hotel, went and located our family members and they followed us back to the hotel. Give this service 10 stars and definitely recommend matebele limo for your next chauffered event.

I hired Matebele to run a limo shuttle for my wedding, and they did a great job! I was kind of an anxious bride, and I had a lot of questions but Liz was so nice, emailing me back and forth before booking. She was very fast to respond, nice, and a joy to work with. I wish all wedding vendors could be like her!
Matebele was a little pricey, but worth it. We ordered the black stretch limo that seats about 8 people, which was perfect for our wedding party. It was well-​furnished and my guests were impressed. The driver was very good and courteous. No complaints!

Called over a week ago for a quote and was cut off and told all they could do was take my information down and someone would call me back. I won’t hold my breath and am glad to move on to a better company with much better customer service and support.

Matebele Limo Service is first class all the way. Booking is extremely easy and Liz is very friendly. The drivers are on time, prepared, and treat you with the upmost respect. The cars are comfortable and clean. But, the thing that really puts Matebele over the top is the customer service. You really couldn’t ask for anything better!

5 Star service all the way. From the communication with Liz for booking to Arlen, the most patient and professional driver especially with a demanding group of women. I could write a long review about the many things Arlen did to go above and beyond but in a nutshell anything you need or want is taken care of with a professional, calm and pleasant demeanor. Let me first give a caveat: I initially wrote a poor review based on my initial experience with them since the wrong limo arrived on our wedding day. We were taken to all the places we needed to go, but let’s say it was not a very comfortable ride for some of our bridal party.
With that being said, after my initial review was seen on Unilocal,Liz reached out to me. She apologized for the mix up and was not aware that it had occurred. She gave us a voucher for another limo rental.
We decided to use it for my birthday celebration. The limo arrived promptly and our driver was very courteous. The limo was clean and supplied with soda and water.
I believe that Matebele did their best to make up for our initial experience. And overall, they seem to be a very good and reliable company. Their prices are very competitive and quality is very good.

Of all the limo services I interviewed and talked to Matebele Limo services hands down were the most professional, courteous, prompt, friendly, helpful, from the get go! Not once were we let down or felt unattended and this was during the time we were talking things over and finalizing!
After we decided to go with them they were just as attentive and prompt on every email and query. A1 outstanding service and then some! They even went out of their way to take care of and handle a personal request that was a surprise for us with just as much thorough attentiveness!!!

I truly have no words from the service I received. From the initial communication with Liz to the introduction of our limo driver. Celebrating my son’s 20^th birthday going to the On The Run Tour was amazing!!! Will (our driver) felt like part of the family than a hired driver. Yes… he was on time, professional, courtesy and well dressed; all the things you look for within a company. Our benefit of the night was having a driver like Will who has a genuinely warmth soul and a great personality. He took pictures with us for us and told us to enjoy the concert. I wanted to go buy him a ticket because I felt like we were leaving without one of our family members. Plus he was tall, handsome and CUTE ladies!!!

5 Star service! This company is great from beginning to end! It was so easy booking my reservation, Liz was so helpful on the phone and through email. I booked the stretch limo for my husband’s friend’s bachelor party! Arlen was their chauffeur and he did an outstanding job! Everyone is so professional and courteous! I will definitely use them again in the future!

Had a wonderful experience with Matebele!!! We had some major flight delays and they were so on top of things! We used their services to take us to LAX at the crack of dawn and the Sprinter van they used was immaculate. The driver was so nice and professional as well. Overall a terrific experience!!!

Had Matabele drive us for about 5 hours last Friday. Misha showed up 15 minutes early, got us up to LA and back with no issues. Misha was insanely professional and the service was amazing for a good price.
Matabele is the only company I will use for limo service from now on. Period.

I hired Matebele to run a shuttle service for my wedding in Laguna Beach this summer. We rented an 11-​seater Mercedes van in black to pick up guests from our hotel and take them to the ceremony site at a local city beach, and then to pick them up after the ceremony and return them to the hotel for the reception.
It was a lot of coordination because we had 40 guests and the driver needed to make several trips back and forth to pick everyone up quickly and deliver them to the right location on time.
We spent some time emailing back and forth with Matebele, making sure they understood the schedule and they were extremely accomodating and worked with us leading up to the wedding day.
On the day of, the driver showed up ON TIME (!!) couldn’t have been more friendly, professional and on point the whole afternoon. He worked with our usher and guests to ensure people were picked up quickly and orderly, he made great time between sites, and our guests commented that he was very pleasant during the drive. Bonus, the Mercedes van was immaculate and looked very sharp when arriving to pick up our guests!
I would strongly recommend Matebele for your next event!

Fernando, my driver, arrived 30 minutes early and was both courteous and efficient. Travel wrought with surprises didn’t stir him, ever keeping his cool as the organization by The Academy nearly made every guest tardy.
The vehicle, a S500 stretch, was immaculately clean both inside and out and Fernando graciously ensured there was no feature left unexplained. Moreover, he was attentive and on point throughout the night without ever a disconnect.
Liz Chandler, Co-​Owner of Matebele Limousine, should be commended — she runs what is clearly a tight ship. In a matter of three days she nailed down all transportation needs and our driver was prepared, itinerary at the ready, upon arrival. Moreover, Matebele rates are reasonable and «flat», something unheard of in this age of «Highway Robbery».

This was my first time (and certainly NOT my last) using Matebele Limo service. Liz was superb in following up with me prior to our service date. I rented the Mercedes S550 stretch limo for 4 of us to go from OC to LA/​Beverly Hills for shopping trip and then birthday dinner celebration/​clubs. The car was beauitiful, a deep, deep navy blue and was spotless! It was perfect for the four of us (we are all 6′ + guys of solid build) but could accommodate more if there were some smaller people :)
Our driver, Rudy, was actually early, had previously reviewed our planned itinerary and confirmed it with me, and was so professional the entire time. We had the limo for 10 hours that day and we all had such a great time not worrying about driving so everyone could enjoy the cocktails and wine with dinner and afterwards.
Not only will I use Matebele again, I am recommending them to everyone I know that would enjoy such an experience and demand high quality service.

The team at Matebele is AMAZING! From the start, Anthony took care of my every need. He made me feel like I was his only client and catered to my every wish. He followed up with emails to ensure my needs were addressed. Further, he followed up with me outlining the details to put my mind at ease that everything was under control.
On the day of our event, the limo arrived exactly on time with the friendliest driver, Fernando. He made us all feel like royalty and took care of our every need. The car was fantastic! Choose Matebele Limo and you will not be disappointed and this is coming from a HIGH SCHOOL student who was looking for ride on prom night.
For $ 700 (tax and tip included), we got a super stretch black Mercedes limo that seats 10 comfortably for the whole night. In my opinion, the price isn’t at all expensive for the SUPERB service and quality you get. I asked numerous limo companies around LA and OC county and most gave me a quote that ran much more higher than Matebele. The limo was very classy with glowing lights and most importantly VERY CLEAN. The bar was well stocked (no alcohol for us of course) and the sound system works perfectly with an AUX cable, CD player, and 4 TV screens. There is nothing to complain about. My friend and I had a blast pumping music loud throughout the whole night.
Besides the actual limo itself, I think what puts Matebele above all other limo companies is its customer service. Antony responded to my emails quickly every time and even texted me during my prom night to make sure everything is going okay. The limo arrived 15 minutes earlier than what I requested, and our driver Rudy was sooooo nice throughout the night, having to deal with ten loud 18-​years-​olds. Another caring touch that I like to make note of is that Matebele charges you the next day, after asking if you were satisfied. So the driver dropped us off and we didnt have to deal with the money when we were all tired. HOWEVER, what really impressed me the most was that one of my friends lost his glasses, and Antony was able to find them in the limo and mail them to us. It came in three days later, in a carefully-​packed box!
I am veryyy glad that I chose Matebele over other companies. And for all you students out there, DO NOT be afraid to use them. Yes, all their limos are Mercedes and they also do Maybach and Rolls Royce, but the price is around if not cheaper than what other limo services offer for a Lincoln or Chrysler. Thank you Matebele for making our night one of the best!!!
