Live about 10mins away, always see this place but decided to take a peek for the first time today. Larger gentleman sitting at his desk in a black suit gives that«oh god what are these people doing here look, they’re not going to buy anything». Spent a few minutes taking a look at the art when I noticed everything was numbered, looked a little closer and they were clearly prints, not original art work. I asked the gentleman why everything was numbered, were they part of some kind of collection? He went on to explain that they are«limited edition» copies of an original oil painting that’s scanned and printed on canvas. I asked where I could see any original works on display, he said they have some in the back but he couldn’t show them to me(essentially he wasn’t willing to show me because he didn’t see me fit, or he was flat out lying). In a very condescending and hostile tone he explained that I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between the original and print anyway. That’s hilarious, the prints were so obvious, nothing wrong with that but why lie about it? I’m a photographer that makes fine art canvas prints, I know what they look like! I mean come on, the canvas was completely smooth, absolutely no brush strokes, pretty hard to do with an oil painting, you could see the texture of the canvas like it was printed with an inkjet. Then I asked(as a serious question) if the works were digitally rendered or enhanced and he went on the say that would be impossible. He said Mr. Kush paints hundreds of layers and spends several years on each piece, «something that wouldn’t be possible to do with a computer». What an insult to digital artists, has this guy ever heard of photoshop? His argument was, these works can’t be digital because they have too many layers. LOLOLOL Seriously take your money else where, there’s nothing«fine art» about this gallery. What a joke, Mr. Kush if you’re reading this. I love your work but you need to RETRAINYOURSTAFF, they’re making your brand look bad. I’m not the first to have a bad experience at this gallery.

I live not so far from here and have seen this galleria a few times. One evening, I decided to step inside to take a look, as I have a few projects in mind. I was a potential buyer, but the staff was rude and talked me out of buying any art work from them. She must have a few screws loose in her head, for some odd reason, she asked me why do I want to have such a large piece of painting in my home, «ummm… Because I have a large wall that needs a big painting to compliment it, because I WANT to.» Then she asked me what I do for a living, why am I walking my dog so much, I shouldn’t walk my ShihTzu for more than a mile a day… Sorry woman, I didn’t ask you if you went to college and decided to make 8 bucks an hour. Can I just get some information about the art work, it’s dimensions, etc? In conclusion, I just walked out. Nice artwork but the woman that work in there is a first class idiot.

If there would have been an option for zero star, that’s what i wanted to give. I love kush work. but the service at this gallery is worse than any one can ever imagine. My husband and I bought 2 art pieces of kush and paid full amount in advance at this place. At the time of buying they will be so nice to talk to and promised that work will be delivered in 2 – 3 weeks and some will call or email us before it gets shipped. After 3 weeks of wait and no emails or calls, I finally called to speak to the sales person named Shawn who sold us the paintings. She wasn’t there and the guy who was on the phone with us told that it takes 4 – 5 weeks for delivery and also told that we will be getting email or call before our pieces gets shipped. After 6 weeks of total wait I again called and asked for our sales person Shawn and we were again told she wasn’t there. So the lady who was on other line found out that our 1 piece has been shipped and other should be ready for shipping in few days. NO one called or emailed us. after almost 2 – 3 weeks of more wait, we didn’t hear anything about our second piece. I again called and as usual Shawn was not there. Found out that the piece has not been signed yet and and neither did it get framed. No one bothered to inform us about that. we waited again. its been more than 8 weeks now and we still haven’t received it nor heard from them. I again called and the guy there told that out piece has been shipped. But no one bothers to inform or let us know. Highly irresponsible and careless. I would never ever recommend anyone buy kush art work at this place. I would rather buy from vegas or hawaii or santa fe gallery. Those places seem much professional.

I wish I could give it zero stars here. The art is wonderful but the staff is totally rude. Most people pass by this gallery and take a look just because we’re curious about the artwork. Granted, we are not here to buy anything. However that doesn’t mean you have to give us the«what the hell are you doing here» look. We don’t need you to talk to us or wait on us… just don’t give us an attitude. They just move to a new location at: 210 Forest Ave… as of 8÷30÷15

One of our highlights during our visit to Laguna Beach is the magnificent Kush Fine Art Gallery. Antonio greeted my husband & I with exceptional professionalism & passion. He gave us a grand tour of the gallery and was very passionate sharing with us about the work of Vladimir Kush. We «really» liked the Tree of Life etching, which is his latest project. It was so exciting to be there, especially with Antonio helping us. We can’t wait to meet Mr. Kush in person this Summer!!! :)

Extremely impressed with the art, absolutely imaginative and beautiful. What a genius! I could stay here for a couple hours just looking over and over at Kush’s works just imagining his thinking. Incorporation of nature, people and all livings things meshed together to tell a story. Oh my, to be able to own a piece would be a dream. Ironically Millianne(art consultant) and I knew each other years ago. Truly loved my visit. Coming back again soon. A must see.

My first and most certainly not my last visit to this metaphorical art gallery was thankfully on the first Thursday of the month, Laguna Beach ArtWalk. My breathe was taken away by the shear beauty and detail of Mr. Kush’s imagination. I am extremely fond of puzzles and illustrations… and walking in here has almost brought me to my knees with respect and left me speechless. I could have stayed here all day. Each painting/artwork was given such caring detail. I am really excited for my next visit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ { — — — — — — — — — — — — } { | Priceless artwork that I | } { | wish I could proudly | } { | display in my home. | } { — — — — — — — — — — — — } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This is not a review of Vladimir’s art work, his art work is amazing to say the least. This is a review of the lack of service from the gallery employees. My boyfriend and I spent the day in Laguna looking around the different shops. We came across Kush Fine Art and decided to go in to take a look. Granted, I don’t have 50K to drop on a piece but I can still be a fan and appreciate the art. As soon as we step in we come a across a menacing look from the heavy set older gentlemen in the suit working at the gallery. He gave us the«What are you doing in here? You are making this gallery look bad and I know you are not going to buy anything» look. No hello, no can I answer any questions, no nada except for following us around the store to make sure we didn’t steal anything… as if. Giving us free dirty glances. There was also a woman with cake make up that gave us dirty glances that followed us around. My boyfriend was ready to lose it and tell them off but we decided to go into the Candy shop next door and calm down. It’s very upsetting when the art work is beyond amazing but the representation is shit. Mr. Kush, if you are reading this, hire me, I will give better service to everyone. Even if people don’t buy anything as an artist I would hope you would still want people to appreciate what you do but your representation/workers do not reflect that… they reflect something very bad and make you look like a Russian dude with a stick up your ass. Take a note from Mr. Wyland, where the employees are friendly and will answer any and all questions. Free dirty looks

OK, OK… we all think the art is cool! True. I’m not going to dispute that. But I’m here to review the gallery, not the art. I’m sure the employees that work here are accustomed to a certain clientele. Folks roll up in a Mercedes and have a big diamond ring on their finger and/or they’re asking their assistant to get the sales girl’s attention. Most people just drop in though, and they’re Average Joe and Average Jane… and they aren’t going to buy anything but they are intrigued by the art. That was me – and my wife – and our friend when we stopped by last weekend. Anyone else ever had issue with the sales people here(to use a phrase that the cool kids use) «throwin’ shade» your way? It’s like the lady was thinking, «Peasant, don’t bother me with your questions – I know you’re not going to buy that sculpture that looks like a purse but its really two people embracing each other. P-sshah!» The works of art are fascinating in this gallery. Maybe I caught the employees on a bad day. Maybe they are awful people. Maybe I really was going to buy that necklace that looked like a broken egg(WHATCOULDBEINSIDE?!?) Now I’m not… But thanks for letting us try out the touch screen thing with the sheep covered in seashells. Does this review sound totally weird? Yeah, that’s Kush. Art — 5 Sales staff — 1 TOTAL — 3

Little trick, If you have the dough to buy the awesome Kush works, go to vegas and avoid the taxes. If you cant afford either, you can buy a awesome video of his work set to musci, or a calander. I know its not the same as the real thing, but we gotta enjoy what we can. The pricey Russian artist has some affordale pieces but w=y settle when you just want to sail away on a butterflie winged boat ona an azure blue sea?

I love this gallery. I have one of Kush’s pieces and would like to purchase more. Kush himself visits a couple of times a year and has events for his clients. I also love the gallery in Lahaina. We recently purchased the DVD which I highly recommend for everyone who admires his work but can’t afford it especially if you have an HD Big Screen TV.

This Kush guy is amazing. His use of lighting and perspective gives his landscapes a «look-out-the-window» sense of depth. His metaphoric work is crazy and mind boggling. I also love that he uses a museum wrapped canvas within the framing for added depth, proof that his creativity doesn’t end with the painting.

Kush’s work is worthy to own. To be able to see his work in a dedicated art gallery for him says something very special about him. and his Laguna Beach location. 1. This guy is a total genius 2. His gallery works and its almost a reflection of him. I honestly don’t think other work can be well displayed there, but if I were given an opportunity to design a special way to hang his work I have a few ideas. Super nice people inside… there is also work priced at all levels so you don’t have to get the $ 45,000 artwork, you could just get some works for $ 50.00. Trust me. its totally worth it.

I love Kush’s work, but this isn’t really a venue for reviewing the art itself. The gallery is nice, the way they display the art is simple and effective. The people who work here are not pretentious in any way so I felt very comfortable. Sydney did a great job helping me pick out my first piece, as well as choosing a frame. When my newly framed piece arrived, there was tape on the frame so when I pulled it off, bits of the brown coloring came off with it. Sydney is sending a Fedex label so that I can ship it back and have it re-framed. Exemplary customer service. If you like metaphorical art, and are interested in investing, this is a great place to start!
