I had the unfortunate experience of being rear-ended about a year and a half ago. I brought my car to Precision simply because it is nearby and I have heard good things about it. I was treated kindly and with much patience during this ordeal. I have never gone through anything like this and they were kind enough to explain the entire process to me, as well as my different options. They worked with the insurance company as needed and made things very easy for me. Unfortunately, the insurance company ended up deciding that the car was not worth fixing and I ended up having to get a new car. But the staff at Precision made the whole thing less stressful for me. I would recommend them to anybody.

If you find being treated as if your shoe size is the same as your IQ number than be sure to give Precision Auto Body & Garage your business… New Years Day my 20 yr old son got into an car accident and totaled his vehicle. He walked away from the accident unharmed but without a car. My son called me to inform me of the unfortunate incident and Precision showed up and towed my son’s car to their shop which was 17.4 miles away from the location of the accident. Now I was out of town for the holiday weekend so I was unable to make it to the shop until Monday January 4th. I was told by the receptionist if I pay them $ 115.00 and give them the car title they would junk my car for me. I asked her to have the car looked at first to see if Precision could repair it. I received a phone call from the receptionist(Sherri) Monday January 11th, 2016, she first apologized for not getting back to me sooner and then proceeded to tell me that my car wasn’t worth fixing. She once again told me that I could give them $ 115.00 and my title for the car and they will junk it for my own convenience. I was annoyed but I told her that I will come to the shop when I got a hold of my title, she said that wasn’t going to be a problem. I miss placed my title so I had to order another one. I showed up Monday January 18th to the shop to explain my quarry about the title and my son wanted to take his custom radio out of the car. Well to my surprise his 2001 black fully loaded Nissan Maxima was already taken to a salvage yard. «Um REALLY!!! Doug, the owner of Precision Auto Body and Garage looked at me dead in my face and acted as if he had no clue what he did. Words were exchanged, he insinuated that because I am a black woman that I wasn’t going to pay his tow and storage fee. I never received an invoice, phone call, and/or email from Precision auto body shop for the balance of the tow and storage fees, nor was I contacted before they sold my car to the salvage yard. He told me the name of the salvage yard which is Molts in Poughkeepsie, NY. Then he proceeded to insult me by telling me he would bring my car back to his shop but I would have to pay another tow fee plus his storage fee in the amount of $ 1,300!!! I felt my blood boiling! I looked at my 20 year son and then looked back at Doug and simply said«You’re good don’t worry about it I’m going to leave this up to the Good Lord» and than I walked out. I calmed down went back inside and politely asked him for the name of the salvage yard he bought it to and a copy of the paperwork he had to give the salvage yard before they could«legally» take MY car from him. He once again lied to my face by telling me that he didn’t have to give any paperwork to the salvage yard. I called Molts, the salvage yard and asked them if they had my car and how could the body shop sell my car to them without my title. They said he has to fill out an abandonment of vehicle form and then the salvage yard can buy the vehicle. Molts informed me that they did in fact have my car and it was bought there Monday January 13th. They also informed me that they had no knowledge that he took my vehicle without my consent and that I would have to go after Precision legally. This is not the end of my story, I will prevail because my morals and values are true and honest. I raised my three children on my own because their father was killed in the World Trade Tower terriost attacks on September 11, 2001. So needless to say I’m one tough cookie and I’m not going to let some unethical business owner get the best of me! Not to mention I know a lot of important people in high places. THISISNOWAYOVER! Well, that’s my story(for now) I hope it helped.
