Zumba with Cristina

I love Cristina’s classes. She has such energy and a very sweet personality! I never want to miss a day. Thank you for making me feel alive every class.

Bought Cristina’s groupon on a whim. I’ve always been interested in Zumba classes and was looking for a way to mix up my «workout» routine of «sitting on the couch» or «sitting at my dining room table» or «staring at my yoga mat». I figured since I danced when I was younger, and I needed a class that I paid for to force me to go, I’d take a chance and see what this Zumba craze is all about.
Cristina’s saturday morning class was the amazing jolt of energy. I loved Cristina’s infectious spirit, great instructions using visual cues, and warm welcome totally helped me feel at ease. Even though I’m not super coordinated this early in the morning, especially on a saturday, I had a ton of fun shaking my booty and hips to fantastic music. Even though I didn’t have the shakers, or even the weights, I still followed along and could feel some burn in my arms (yes, I’m that out of shape).
I didn’t feel like I was working out while doing Zumba, but the next day my body could totally feel it. I’ll be going back next week!

If you like to dance or want a fun way to work out, you definitely need to take a Zumba class with Cristina. This girl can dance! Not only that, she’s a great instructor and makes you feel welcome and comfortable.
The classes are held at a dance studio in downtown Lafayette. She also offers a toning class in addition to regular Zumba, and you can bring 1 or 2 pound hand weights if you don’t have the shakers.
I love burning all those calories while dancing to great music – I’m hooked!

Is it possible to burn calories while smiling from ear to ear and listening to your favorite music? Can an hour+ workout possibly fly by and feel fun? Impossible you say?
Well wrong you are! Because Ms. Cristina’s Zumba class is all that and more. I usually am not a big fan of Zumba classes bc they can be hard to follow (especially in overly crowded classes) and the energy between songs can go from high to super low. I’m used to high impact kickboxing and running so I really like to sweat!
But Cristina is fantastic at cuing the moves and keeping the energy up! She is probably one of the only teachers I’ve had who I can totally follow AND sweat it up.
The music is also great… now I just wish I lived up here so I could take her classes all the time! Thank goodness I come up for work frequently bc I will definitely be back to dance my booty off… Literally!

I’ve known Cristina since we’ve been Zumba «classmates.» As her friend and current student it’s been both joyful and rewarding to be in her class.
One thing you can always count on her is her radiating positivity. Her energy is contagious. She is a natural teacher who is extremely patient with new students.
Compared to other folks I’ve had, Cristina is a complete instructor. She has both traditional and toning classes. Hard to find in the East Bay, especially in Lamorinda. Her music is the perfect blend of mainstream pop, heart pumping Latin beats and throwback joints.
I give my highest recommendation for her class. You won’t regret it.

Love Cristina’s toning class. Boy, don’t I need them badly!!! Cristina is friendly and always smiling. Makes me wake up on a sleepy weekend morning. She has a good variety of English and Spanish language songs.
Highy recommended for zumba toning definitely. Hope that she would have more toning classes definitely!!! I am down!
Good parking and location. She accepts walk-​ins and has punch cards too!

Love Love Love Cristina’s classes. Exactly what I need to lose the extra baby weight. Zumba makes the time go by so fast. I really look forward to my workouts, instead of dragging myself to the gym. She’s a great instructor because she’s fun, energetic, and easy to follow. I also love her punch cards because I can go to classes that fit with my schedule and not feel like I’m paying for something I don’t use.

I love Cristina’s class, she is energetic, fun and a delight to be around, her choreography is a mix of everything, fantastic music. She gives out directions to new moves. You’ll always want to go back for more. She provides a nice no-​pressure atmosphere for beginners and diehards alike. The location is very close to the freeway, a block from Chows with lots of free parking. GREAT WORKOUT guaranteed.

Cristina’s class is not only a lot of fun, you get a great work out! She works, your arms, your abs, your legs all while having fun! The Music has a great rhythm and the moves are easy to follow! Cristina is very friendly and has lots of great energy! Even though the class is in lafayette there is a lot of free parking and it is not far from the freeway. It is easy to get to from any location. Definitely worth your time!

I love Cristina’s classes! She’s got great choreography to great music. Good prompts and demos new tricky steps. Fun, enthusiastic personality, great smile with energy to spare. Her location is an easy couple of block s from the freeway in Central Lafayette. If you’re in the area, you have to give her classes a try! You’ll love her!
