Updating my review as this location is newly remodeled in and out. New features include a computer center with AC outlets and wifi, a TV that was showing only the weather when I was there, and a lounge sitting area with a video fireplace. Order and pickup area is better designed and service was fast. I tried the pulled pork sandwich and while it doesn’t measure up to true smokehouse quality it was better than I expected with firm meat, crunchy slaw and spicy smoked sauce applied when you order like it’s supposed to be. The previously small entrance has been widened but it’s still a bear to turn right out of the lot. All in all the remodel is a vast improvement.

I’d first like to state that I enjoy Wendy’s very much. I go there as a treat to myself– when I’m having a bad day, when I have a perfect day– I treat myself to Wendy’s. My experience tonight, though, was extremely disappointing. I had been moving all day, and decided I was craving Wendy’s spicy chicken nuggets. Around 9:30 pm, I went through the drive thru. No one was in front of me, nor behind me. The employee greeted me, and told me to order whenever I was ready. I ordered 10 spicy chicken nuggets with ranch(I understood before ordering that I would have to wait a few minutes for them to be ready, and that’s fine– I don’t mind the wait for them!) Before I could even order a drink, she abruptly told me to pull around to the window and she would have the total for me there. So, I didn’t get to order a drink, no big deal. I pulled up to the first window and waited about 2 minutes, no one showed up. So, finally assuming she meant the second window, I pulled up to the next window. I smiled and said, «sorry,»(for pulling up to the wrong window). She gruffly told me the total, and I handed her my card. This is when I began to feel very unwelcomed and quite like a nuisance. She handed me my card and said(still in a negative tone), «can you pull up to the yellow line, we will bring it out to you,» and promptly shut the window. I pulled up, and a few minutes later, another young woman came out and very politely apologized for the wait. I didn’t know who rang me up, because I never even received a receipt. I normally do not complain, as I have worked in food services before. I understand that people have bad days, trust me. I was just extremely disappointed in how I, a frequent customer(who genuinely looks forward to her spicy chicken!), was treated, and I know from my past job that that type of treatment would not have gotten by very well. I didn’t get any of my ranch(which is my fault, I should have checked the bag before I pulled away), and I replaced the drink I didn’t get a chance to order with a beer at home, but at least the chicken nuggets were up to par.
