I am doctor, and an MBA as well. I did the corporate thing for years. Burned out my adrenals, messed up my hormones and decided to change it for my first love — medicine.

Dr. Singleton is great! I have been a patient of hers for a year now. I have continued to make improvements to my health since my first visit. She is very knowledgeable. She does a great job helping me understand what’s going on with my body and comes up with effective all natural remedies and diet changes to restore health. Dr. Singleton is very caring and will guide you through your healing journey. I actually look forward to going to see a doctor, that’s rare.

This woman is awesome and is the real deal. She diagnosed and treated my chronic condition when no other provider would. I feel so much better and am on the road to rejuvenation. I visit her every 6 months or so to measure the effectiveness of the treatment. So far, so good!
Dr. SIngleton is very attentive to her patient’s needs and is NEVER judgmental. She’s very genuine and truly cares about her patients! I’m really glad I’ve found her!

I found Vera to be judgmental and ineffectual. She had a hard time interpreting basic labs, and when I shared some personal information with her, she could not keep her own opinions about my lifestyle choices to herself. Totally inappropriate.
She is enthusiastic about health care, yes, but lacks intuition and attention to detail.

Dr. Singleton is awesome. I have been to several doctors due to stomach issues that I had been having for years. I have been put on at least 5 different medications by doctors that were supposedly going to fix me with horrible side effects. Eventually I was told well I guess it’s just not curable.
In less than 3 months of seeing Dr. Singleton, all of my symptoms are gone. I have never felt better, and I can’t believe I suffered for so long before her. She is extremely knowledgeable and very caring with her patients. I have never felt rushed out of her office like I have with so many doctors in the past. Thank you Dr. Singleton!

I had seen literally a dozen of doctors for 2 years before I came across Dr. Singleton from a personal recommendation. My issues were very complex and no other doctor was able to figure out how all of the different factors were influencing one another. I had severe gut/​digestive and hormonal problems, among other things.
In the 2 years I was struggling to get better while seeing doctors who couldn’t really help me, I researched medical problems I suspected I was dealing with on a daily basis. I came to really understand my body and different natural things out there that do a much better job at healing me than conventional medicine. I brought my complex case and my numerous supplemental régime to Dr. Singleton a few months ago. Meeting her, I knew right away she was the doctor for me! She’s an excellent thoughtful listener, who has the perfect balance of being open-​minded and respectful of her patients, but also very intelligent and forward-​thinking in her responses and recommendations. Dr. Singleton agreed with a lot of my own assessment of what I suspect had been going on for me, and gently advised me what to focus on first and always educates me on new info I did not know about yet. She’s always a step ahead of me, which I am so delighted about because I felt like all of the other doctors were always behind me in figuring out what’s going on with me. The other doctors kept ordering tests to confirm what I already knew which was a waste of my time and money. With Dr. Singleton, even though I pay out of pocket, I feel it’s money very worth spending, and her efficiency make me feel like I’m saving money in managing my healthcare. In about 3 months, mu digestion and hormonal problems are either resolved or under control. She’s amazing!

I think Dr. Singleton is the best doctor I have ever had. She is knowledgeable and interested in her patients. Blessed with a sense of humor she also demonstrates concern and can work with challenging cases… like me. I’ve worked with Dr Singleton for a couple of years now addressing a very stubborn hypothyroid issue. I was never ‘sickly” but was diagnosed with a thyroid problem after a friend of mine (who is an MD) noticed some symptoms and made me promise to go get tested. Turns out I was hypothyroid and may have been so since the birth of my son some 20 years prior to my diagnosis. A series of life stresses seem to move it quickly downhill and suddenly I was pretty sick and uncomfortable.
After being through a number of doctors, I have to say she is the first one who really listened and created space for me to be an active collaborator in caring for my health. I read and learned a lot about my condition and was very relieved to have a health practitioner who was able to work with me through a process which made a world of difference in my health.
I think that her ability to interpret my thyroid tests also made a significant difference in my treatment. Many doctors stick by an established protocol when it comes to thyroid tests. Indeed one doctor told me there was nothing wrong with my thyroid. Another one told me I had arthritis. It was pure madness. Meanwhile I had to lay down after I made my bed or went food shopping. Forget about exercise and having fun. I was so exhausted and in pain. Dr Singleton used my tests very effectively and also made recommendations for treatment that other doctors would probably not even have considered. I now work every day, do yoga, hike, salsa, kayak, keep my grandson and more because I am no longer exhausted and in pain thanks to her knowledge, skills and understanding.

Dr. Vera is a loving, caring, and patient doctor. She has a high level of integrity. She returns all calls and all emails within 2 – 3 business days. She is finding solutions to my medical problems with digestion and adrenal gland stress by using natural supplements. She is helping me get back to karate and fitness competition again by next year. I wished I met her earlier and would have saved on some medical bills that didn’t solve my issue. I highly recommend her especially with females who have hormone and weight issues.

Dr. Vera Singleton is the absolute best naturopathic doctor I have seen and, believe me, I have seen a lot in the last ten years.
First of all, Dr. Singleton will listen to you. She listened to my entire medical history from the time I was a teenager on and took notes about everything. Most importantly, she paid attention to the stuff that most doctors had told me over the years was inconsequential to my overall health.
After she had listened to me for hours and looked over my bloodwork, she prescribed a homeopathic preparation that really worked. She also gave me tips on diet, exercise and sleep that helped a lot.
If you are looking for a knowledgable doctor who will really take your health seriously, I would highly recommend going to see Dr. Singleton.

When I first came to Lolo, I was only thinking of seeking acupuncture, chiropractic, and massage for my insomnia (I’ve had it since 2005 and was medicated via Zolpidem since 2008) and chronic back pain (mainly in the upper back and shoulder area). I read somewhere that acupuncture can treat insomnia. I didn’t give a second thought to naturopathic medicine. After assessing my overall health history by Anthony, I was referred to Dr. Singleton. I figured, why not? We’ll see where this will go. Most traditional M.D.‘s will write up a prescription and send you on your merry way. Sleeping pills for Insomnia and pain meds for my backaches. I was tired of being medicated and wanted to be pain and insomnia free without relying on my meds. Dr. Singleton’s method was treating these problems more naturally with supplements (tests were run to determine what supplements I should be on). I am now free of meds and I can sleep well. My back pains are now to a minimum. I have to say I have not felt this great in years. Thanks to Dr. Singleton and everyone at Lolo for helping me feel this great! The practitioners here really do take their time with you and they really do care about your well-​being.

Dr. Singleton has completely changed my life for the better! I had been suffering from stomach issues and headaches and my family kept telling me that I should see a doctor. However, I did not have a primary care physician since I was a child and every doctor I have met since then didn’t help me very much and they didn’t seem like they cared. I had almost given up and then I moved to Oakland and decided that I would go see another doctor, but I didn’t want to see a M.D. I went and saw Dr. Singleton and I was really impressed by her. She was also extremely friendly, nice and genuine. She seemed to really show that she cared about me and getting rid of my stomach aches and headaches. After seeing Dr. Singleton my life has improved so much; I feel like I have more power over my health and well being! About a year ago, I became ill and the doctors wanted me to have surgery. I don’t like hospitals so I decided to see if I had other options. Thanks to Unilocal reviews I came across Lolo’s Health Center. I decided to give it a try since all the comments were so positive. Luckily for me it was all true! The practice genuinely is there to help and make you healthier than you were.
I started, and recommend, seeing Dr. Singleton. She is a naturopathic doctor. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, and dedicated to making her patients healthier. She has helped me through my sickness with natural remedies and vitamins. As a result, I am aware of my bodies needs and I have learned what and how my body works. Dr. Singleton has really shown me she cares, she has changed my life, and I feel healthier than I have ever felt.
I highly recommend this practice. The moment you walk in you are greeted with a friendly smile and you are surrounded by staff that is there to make you healthier and more knowledgeable about your body, and it’s located on the waterfront.

I highly recommend Dr. Singleton she has literally helped change my life, my diet, the way I eat and even the way I think about food. She is a naturopathic doctor and healer when I was so sick she gave me homeopathic remedies and I got better much quicker naturally than prescription medication. She is funny, smart and kind! You can tell she really cares for her patients like family. You won’t regret going to her because she will help you change your life. She is down to earth and open and has the heart to help people. If you have a problem she has a remedy and you will be certain to feel better and get better. I now eat better than I ever have in my life but she made me realize life is all about balance its not all or nothing.

Dr. Singleton is a lifesaver! I’ve had anxiety/​insomnia for most of my life and out of fear of being addicted to over-​the-​counter or prescription sleep aids, I decided to approach my insomnia in a different way. Prior to my interactions with her, I have hardly ever heard of naturopath or holistic medicine but after everything else had failed to alleviate my insomnia, I decided to give it a try.
I am so glad that I did! Upon my first meeting with Dr. Singleton, we went over a comprehensive overview of my medical history and she prescribed an herb that worked immediately. She also gave me valuable tips on how to manage insomnia without having to take any medication which has helped as well. For anyone with insomnia, you would understand that getting a good night’s rest is golden! Thank you Dr. Singleton for helping me consistently sleep throughout the night.
I also wanted to mention that Dr. Singleton was professional, compassionate, patient, and truly cares for her patients. She took all the time I needed to fully describe my issue and my medical history and checked in with me several times since our initial visit to see how I’ve been doing.
