Udon Kaisha brings the full spectrum of Japanese cuisine to the Lafayette area. When most people think of Japanese food, they jump to Sushi. There’s a lot more to Japanese food, at Udon Kaisha, we seek to share Sushi’s spotlight with a broader variety of offerings.

Here, we take great pride in our noodles and soups, and have spent years perfecting our recipes to bring out the best flavors in our dishes. Popular favorites include our Spicy Pork Ramen Noodles and our Nabeyaki Udon (mix of seafood, chicken and greens). Not only are the noodles delicious, but much of the focus is on the carefully prepared broth.

Aside from noodles, we carry hard to find favorites like Japanese Curry, and a selection of the freshest and most expertly crafted Sushi, Sashimi and Rolls.

Established in 2012.

Udon Kaisha was established to bring more than just Sushi to the palettes of diners in the states. For years now, we have sought to bring the full spectrum of Japanese flavors to our customers. Whether you desire expertly crafted sushi, or a perfect Noodle Soup, we hope to satisfy your curiosity in the future.

Business Owner

Owner Mindy had always wanted to open a restaurant. Having opened a previous establishment with another business partner, she took her expertise and applied it towards opening Udon Kaisha. Ever since, she has enjoyed serving a variety of delicious Japanese flavors to diners in the region. She hopes to add you to a long list of happy customers in the future.
